C$ 167 Find cheap flights from Vancouver to St. John's

We were given a complimentary seat upgrade which was so unexpected but so lovely!

Porter was excellent. Boarding was a breeze. The seats were a little uncomfortably but the overall trip was excellent.

Only packaged snacks were served. It was a flight at lunchtime and a hot meal would have been a great.

Reserve check-in was very slow compared to regular check-in. Internet was slow

Lavatories broke with an hour to go. At least we were on time.

Chaotic boarding, but mostly my issues are with Toronto airport

Flight delayed by half hour, causing rush to get to connecting flight in Toronto Pearson which doesn’t have good flow for managing immigration check and connections.

Service was amazing, and the plane was comfortable even for this long haul. But they could have more movies selections. But they were still a lot to choose from.

Due to mechanical problems it was delayed causing problems the actual flight. Was fune

West jet once again canceled the flight delaying my travel this is inexcusable they are not capable of running an airline

Needs to be clearer about baggage allowances upon purchasing tickets

We booked a ticket with Budget Air and the receipt said economy. My older teen daughter is neurodivergent and took a carry on bag since the ticket said economy, but she didn't see that it said no bags on her boarding pass. She has low attention. She managed to fly from Prince George to Calgary. At Calgary, she was preparing to board her last flight and the women said you can't get on. She said you can't board unless you pay for those bags. She had a small backpack, purse and carry on suitcase. She said you have to pay $160 +. My daughter has trouble understanding. She said can you step out of line to think about what you want to do. Then she said we have to leave you'll have to catch another flight. She called me in tears. I asked her to pass the phone to the agent. She said the agent was refusing to take the phone and ignoring her. I finally calmed her down enough to politely ask the woman to take my credit card. I told the woman of my daughter's challenges and need for extra helps. All she did was lecture me on how we booked ultra basic and we should have checked. She took my number and charged my card. Then I heard her push the phone back to my daughter and tell her to get on. My poor daughter was scared and confused and had to fly in tears. No apologies.

WestJet cancelled our flight back with very little notice. The options presented were poor...two other flights were offered but required overnight travel. We couldn't do that as my wife had to be at work on Thursday, the 15th, so we were able to book flights on United that got us home so that she could go to work. I am attempting to get a refund on the unused WestJet flights back from Vancouver. If you have any thoughts on how I can pursue this refund, I would appreciate it. We found that WestJet has a very bad reputation and I guess they proved it....

Flight was 1.5 hours late because the groceries for the flight did not arrive on time. Plane was new but basic low end seats. Very basic airline

Flight left on time. In flight entertainment options were good, but needed own device. Crew were polite.

The flight was booked solid and there is no leg room for anyone over 6 feet tall, which is probably 25% of your customers. I have selected aisle seats and was given the middle twice. This is not something that can be changed, so I shouldnt bring it up, but that is my feedback.

The flight was about 1.5 hours delayed. Facilities at Saskatoon airport shut down at 7:00pm

More room for carry-on. Or having people bring correct carry-on.

Flight to return home from Toronto for Cleveland was canceled after sitting on the plane for a half hour. Had to de board the plane and rent a car to drive home, or else wait until they had us rescheduled for later the next day.

I wish Air Canada would allow economy standard passengers to select their own SEATS on flight when CHECK-IN Online as usual, with No Extra Prices Charge as the Past years.

Ad a customer it feels like I'm being constantly lied to and taken advantage of, this company truly doesn't care about service. They system is designed to maximize profit by add-ons n charges for everything, and the end result is a feeling where everyone you interact with is asking you to spare some extra money. I don't believe Air Canada is a an anti-consumer, monopolistic corporate entity. It's frustrating to not be given options to choose other competition. Especially with international flights, Air Canada should not be part of Star Alliance. I should be given the option to know what company I'm booking with before sending my payment, so that I can avoid Canadian businesses that I don't support.

To be honest, nothing went well. Our flight was cancelled and we had a total nightmare trying to find out information of what to do. We had $2000.00 in frozen fish that we had to locate and then fight with Air Canada to get a hotel for the night that had a freezer. It took over 5 hours to resolve and 5 levels of management. We went from the customer service desk to a manager, to a lead manager, who had to contact Toronto, who had to wait for an answer from another level of management as to whether or not they could put us up at a "business class" hotel since it was the only option and we were "econo class" passengers. The vouchers we received for food barely bought a supper and breakfast and although the hotel was nice, our fish was definitely not cared for from start to finish and after a once in a lifetime fishing trip to have it end the way it did was such a disappointment and Air Canada, well, they really didn't care.

It was pretty good, although it was a little late in departing.

No place to chrge devices and no in flight entertainment

Comfort seats in economy class. Crew was pleasant. Very surprised we had to pay for ear buds and food. I requested 2 hummus packs and was given 2 bags of almonds, very overpriced.
