They forced me to check a bag. When Kayak sold me these tickets I was not informed of carry on baggage weight limits.
The food was great; the attendants were pleasant. Waiting to onboard felt stressful, as passengers who had connecting flights at SEA had to be verified again for two things before getting a real boarding pass: passport and carry-on luggage weight. The boarding pass issued by another airline (i.e., the first leg of my trip) did not count. The S terminal at SEA was barren, with lots of sensory overloads because every airline was repeatedly broadcasting long lists of names of passengers who had not gone through that verification process. The carry-on luggage weight check seemed futile to me. I saw a woman who opened her over-weight suitcase to move some items into her shoulder bag. She still boarded with two huge bags with her. I assume this check is an endeavor of ensuring fairness of the overhead bin space or optimizing fuel efficiency when gas price is through the roof, but I don't know if either goal is achieved. Nonetheless I respect the crew's dedication to the SOP.
Food tasted like the meat had freezer burn. Another thing all of our 4 check baggage was left somewhere and my oral medication for my diabetes was left in one of the lost luggage..most of the flight attendants did not know how to communicate in English.. the trip was a total nightmare
The crew need to be more friendly it seem everything such a rush situation during dinner and breakfast. Smiles to the passenger go such a long way just the service from Seattle to Taipei, service from Taipei to Bangkok were great more pleasant the flight attendant from Thailand she was very nice, as far as entertainment were amazing , wiffi connection was incredible great, I will be able to charged my phone from Seattle to Taipei and from taipei to Bangkok I won’t be able to do so flight attendant told me that because I don’t have the original iPhone charger connection has nothing to do what type of charger I have so she said there is nothing she can do about it. Foods : from Seattle to Taipei were ok no flavor , from Taipei to Bangkok I have chicken teriyaki the rice is overcooked all the flavor stuck on the aluminum wraps , breakfast the congee was on point and delicious. Will I recommend anyone to fly with Eva air go for it so you can experience yourself for myself I won’t fly with them again I’m gonna stick with Singapore airlines instead.

I think the business class service has declined as compared to how it was years ago. I am not a fan of the hello kitty graphics. Boarding was long and not well organized. The lounge in Taipei was not very good, the food was very poor. Did not live up to many international business class lounges.
Boarding was good. It will be nice to have beer anytime. I asked for a beer at tea time & I was refused. Quite disappointed
This was the first time traveling with China Airlines. The Crew, were all professional and bilingual. The aircraft was clean and comfortable. I upgraded to even more space; that process was simple and not super expensive. The meals served were adequate and tasty, and the choices were suitable. After experiencing long flights and being a passenger with China Airlines, I must say I will travel with them again Sincearly Anthony
We were not sat together for the longeset duration of our travel very uncomfortable didnt enjoy that they fed us at 2 am
Everything was fine except the seats were quite compressed and hard for the 12 hour flight
Very routh cabin crew food is only 2 meals for 13 hours fry with them They should get better training how to service good super routh language and talking with customer

The food was the only thing that could have made the experience even better. Everything was stellar but the food. The staff was superb. I’ve been flying with ANA for years as my go-to and I think I may have found my new favorite. 😍

Flight was delay almost 2 hours from Hong Kong to Taipei. Last minute gate change from 24 to 66. Long way walk. We need to run in the Taipei airport to catch our next flight from Taipei to Vancouver. That is so suck!

Overall, it was a good flight. I was comfortable, that TV screen was large. It’s just the food wasn’t that great.
I didnt experience it but i saw them and heard that some are not good in customer service. They dont know how to talk with respect and in a nice way.with persons who needs it. Especially with seniors and people who does not know how to speak english that much.

Flight was cancelled and rescheduled to 205 in the morning at the peril of passengers. No hotels provided by the airline. Passengers left stranded at airport. Not acceptable. I was able to get a hotel at my own cost outside of the airport. No reimbursement. Won’t be my choice in for future travels.

There is a problem with the sound while watching movie or listening to the music ( the sound is static & goes on and off). Aside from the sound, the experience was good & stewardesses are nice.
The food was ordinary, this could be improved. Sleeping was comfortable enough for several hours sleep. The layover time in Manila Mabuhay lounge for 17 hours was awful. Surely I could have been given a flight to Perth within that time on another airline. At 74 years of age I find that far too long and stressful and will probably not travel with Philippine Airlines again for that reason. The food offering on board and in the lounge was also a little underwhelming. The crew were wonderful and the flight comfort was good also.
The checkin was unacceptable. Agent took about 3-5 min minutes with me, standing in front of her, and not in acknowledging my presence. Finally, when she started processing my check in as a priority passenger, she neglected to give me a lounge pass until I reminded her . when I went to the lounge, they didn’t have me registered. However, the agent there still accepted me Did not tag my luggage as priority, so I had to wait until almost the very end before my luggage appeared. My Wi-Fi as premier elite did not work. This was not a good start to my lengthy flight.
Free wifi or cheaper wifi rate will be better. Or upgrade your entertainment system.
Everything was great except that I wasn’t issued a boarding pass for the second flight so they would not let me into customs until I had said boarding pass. Luckily a gate attendant from another Air Canada flight was able to print one for me so I could go through.
I suppose to board the plane AC5110 to San Francisco on July 16 2026 @07:00 am and arrive San Francisco at 09:25 am. At 9:30am still in YVR I was told the plane was delayed until 11:30 am to take off. Not until 11:35am the pilot of the plane declared that due to hydraulic system problem this plane was cancelled. After waited in a long pile up for negotiating with the counter-staff, I finally got the tickets for myself and my wife Yim Mei KONG firstly to Seattle and then transferred to San Francisco on the plane AS 2014 & AS 791 with Alaska Airlines. I suppose to attend the funeral of our friend in San Francisco on July 18 and a Memorial Gathering for the Birthday of the deceased on July 16, 2026. I arrived San Francisco at 9:40 pm that day (12 hours later) and couldn't joint the Memorial Gathering. This upset me a lot. I am seeking for compensation of this failing trip. Please let me know how to and where to forward my complaint.
Well I had insisted to be put on standby because I knew there was one seat so there should have been another. There was, seat 36AC for both of us, the last row in the plane that does not recline nor does it have any room in the overhead bin because of plane necessities. The bathroom right behind so a line up with people's bums on your arm rests, etc. We were happy to get a flight earlier because of the missed connection, but we saw flight people who were sitting in customer seats and I felt we should have been seated there and they should have been put in the back. Plus the stewardesses were wearing so much perfume, I had to hold my nose because of a severe allergy to perfume.
No charger and no entertainment on the way back. The plane's super old-like 80s old-with zero TVs. At least the free Wi-Fi works, so definitely bring your iPad. Also, no meal on this 7-hour flight.
This was the best Air Canada experience i've ever had! We didn't realize we could switch to an earlier flight and I asked the attendant as they were boarding the 8pm flight. She kindly let me know to make such requests prior to boarding in the future, but she was very understanding that we just came through security with young kids and was able to make the changes for us. When we got on the plane, the lady in the back was super friendly, welcoming, and kind. She was great with our kids and with the other passengers and we just enjoyed her presence so much!.
The flight from Vancouver to Victoria is a fun little hop. The crew are friendly and helpful.

It was one and a half hour flight, however it was delayed for one hour, no bus running after getting off the C-Train,
check in for premium economy very nice. Friendly attendants. Best security video ever. Seriously. That's about it. Not a good bang for the premium economy buck, to be truthful. I had hoped/expected for a little more.
The meal options were ok but the actual food was terrible. On my return journey, they simply said that there was no vegetarian option and somehow struggled to give me dinner and did not give me any breakfast at all which in my opinion was terrible. Not having ANY vegetarian meal was surprising and never had such an experience in the recent years.
Our luggage broke and what we get back was only 26$ plus the transit in hongkong was terrible and the airline itself the screen wasn’t working but there was a proper seat space and the crew was nice and professional

Departure date of the ticket was ONE WEEK LATER than I purchased it for. Total failure on trying to get it reissued for the date I was to fly on. Will NOT use Kayak next time due to this screw up on Kayak's part..

Watch for "bait and switch" - cheap prices, but not obvious at all at point of purchase that there will be an undisclosed charge for baggage - and less obvious that you will have to purchase baggage at an eye-watering level. Better still, if you go this airline, leave your gear behind and buy a complete wardrobe when you arrive in country and still be ahead. The staff were very pleasant, both at counter staff level - they were clearly unnerved by having to charge - and on board.
No entertainment service which equates them with budget airlines. But their fare are regular airline fares. Aircraft are old and seats are worn.
The crews at check in counter are not professional, they are talking and playing around. Also no entertainment on the plane
2 failed landing attemps before going to Nagoya airport for refueling. After 3 hours of taxiing, we still needed 3 attemps before a succeeded landing (after the 5th attempt finally!). In total, 11 hours inside the plane instead of 4h30, and with only a crappy piece of bread to feed us. A shame.
