The reason given for the delays was "there is an international pilot shortage" by a Porter gate women, meaning that Porter books more flights then it has hired Pilots. Probbaly one of the most unorganized and unprofessional business models in the industry. The lounge does not even have food for purchase, the refrigerator shelves are empty and no where to go get food. Has been an awful experience."

After my arriving flight got in 2 hours late and sat on the runway for 45 minutes because there was too many planes in the way for my plane to get to the gate I was not in the mood to run across the airport to go through customs and then through security (for the second time). However in order to make it onto this final flight that's exactly what I had to do. I also might add that it is incredibly stupid that connecting flights have to go through security again after deplaning, it's not like we're suddenly going to have weapons or anything so why waste that time? After I sprinted across the airport and got onto the plane the pilot announced that we were waiting to hear from the airport to take off. Long story short the poor pilot was trying to figure out what was going on but no one was even answering his calls. Eventually he realized that the plane hadn't been refueled and had to get a hole of them to refuel. At one point he must have gotten really frustrated because he left the plane in search of answers as the Toronto airport wasn't giving him any. Eventually after 2 hours of sitting on the plane we refueled and took off. On top of that my travel partner didn't get her luggage, we assumed that the Toronto airport lost it somewhere or something. Overall a complete nightmare."

However, my first surprise, despite me asking ahead of time, was that my small check-in bag would could $100 CDN instead of the $25.00 I was quoted. Despite the WestJest/Condor representatives best effort, I was told that I would, unfortunately, have to pay for the baggage despite the quote I was given. I paid the fee, was given tracking numbers, and asked for my boarding passes. I found it odd that my final flight from Frankfurt to Warsaw did not print out. I asked if this would be a problem for me and my bags arriving on timed, and I was told it would not be, as it is sometimes the case that passengers have to print out boarding passes at the next stop. I flew to Halifax and asked for a boarding pass from Frankfut to Warsaw (which I was told was still a Condor plane), and it was printed for me. Upon arriving in Frankfurt and waiting patiently, something inside caused me to ask about the status of my bags. To my utter shock, and the genuine honesty of my Condor representative in Germany, I was told that my next flight would actually be LOT (Polish Airlines) flight, and that my bags needed to be picked up from baggage claim and checked into my LOT flight. With less than 10 minutes left before boarding and the suggestion of an honest Condor official I was told not to bother trying to go to baggage claim and fill out a missing/delayed baggage claim at LOTs station in Warsaw Chopin Airport. At no point, despite my asking, was I ever informed about having to re-check bags I paid $100.00 to check-in. Moreover, at no point was I told that, on my flights from Toronto to Frankfurt, that everything from simple entertainment to food would cost significantly high cost (in Euros) to purchase. Be aware of these issues fellow travelers, and make sure you pay for food and entertainment (ahead of time) and make sure ALL your bags will be on WestJet/Condor planes or they will NOT be transferred!"

Cons: "They forced me to ceck my trolley because i had a suit with me!!! And the airplane wasn’t even full. Even worst they allowed some pieces of “hand luggage” that were double the maximum allowed size"
Cons: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"
Cons: "The entertainment system was very old with minimum selection. My entertainment system actually stopped working. The seating area was very cramped. I called for service a couple of times from my seat, but nobody came."

Cons: "Food. For a 2-hour plus flight, from 11am to 1:30pm, we got 20gr pretzel sticks. This is ridiculous. Don't pretend you are not low-cost! Formerly, before the Joon failed (thank God) venture, Air France had real sandwiches around that time of the day on that line."

My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Though, me and the AA rep., had to cross-run about a mile up and down the escalators at terminal 8 , my baggage was left behind and did not make a transfer to FinnAir 6. At final destination I was asked to file a lost baggage claim. If not the initial flight from Logan, everything should go smoother."

Cons: "This was a plane with central screens along the aisle, and the airline chose to broadcast a sci-fi action movie with almost constant flashing blue light, and violent action scenes. This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight."

Pros: "Tiny airplane but single flght crew managed my and from what I could see fellow passengers needs commendably. Whilst I didn't like needing to hand in my carry on (without much warning so I didn't have time to pull out a magazine to read) on the plus side it was stored well as my suit carrier came out unscathed and you get your bags curb side as soon as the plane lands so you don't have to wait for the rest of the bags to unload."
