The car i received (Nissan Kicks) was clean but the not sure if there was a problem with the engine as even the slightest of hills would make the engine strain. In addition, at one point, after putting the car in reverse, the car would not move at at all as if it was sin neutral. I tried many things to get it going again but finally had to turn it off and back on to be able to drive. When I visited a Budget rental store in Victoria to exchange the car with another (I had no confidence in the car), they told me they were a franchise and could not do anything about it (poor customer service?).Reviewed 2 Oct 2026

We were misquoted on the cost of the rental car, by the ship guest relations. We were told $247. Actuall cost was $745. Check out at rental Car desk was a long wait and we had to walk way to get the car in the garage with luggage in tow.Reviewed 21 Sep 2026
