Beware of uncharges and shady additionsPros:The car itself was fine, I got the exact model I reserved, aside from a couple dings was in very good shape and fairly low mileage. Airport transfer was easy enough, they pick-up curbside and didn't keep me waiting very long.Cons:Aggressively try to upsell you on their insurance plans. Keep in mind, Costa Rica DOES have some fairly strict liability insurance requirements for rental cars. That said, I know the laws in CR and had purchased a full zero-liability insurance policy for my trip. At the time of pick-up, they "maneuvered" their figures when trying to get me to use their insurance plan, which was shady from the get go. My biggest issue was that they DID end up changing me for $78 in insurance (and several other fees) without my permission! I am currently contesting the charge with AMEX, but I ended up being charged over $100 more than the quote from Kayak, without my permission. Shop elsewhere.Reviewed 25 Apr. 2017
