I was an hour late to pick up, still when they were open, and I was charged extraReviewed 7 Oct 2024

This was the worst car rental experience I ever had. It was way off the beaten path. If I had known how far it was from the airport I probably would not have gone with this company. Then when we got there, they made us sign on to a clipboard and wait outside in the heat. The area seemed kinda seedy and the entire lot was just dirt. They seemed understaffed and so the process took longer than it should have. The car upholstery was all stained white and it seemed like the brakes were getting bad. It was a very small operation so there were only a few spaces to return the rental cars for inspection. I was worried how long the return process would take because they said allow an extra thirty minutes to return time so you can get your flight on time, which made me think there would be a long wait but then it turned out that the inspector was in that area so we didn’t have to wait after all. But just the threat of a delay gave me anxiety. I guess it’s okay if you don’t expect it to be much more than a small mom n pop business and don’t expect to see several employees working in the clearly marked return lanes etc. But the whole experience amped up my travel anxiety to the enth degree. It was probably because I have only had about five rental car experiences and they have all been with larger companies. So my expectations were dashed.Reviewed 25 Sep 2024

The rental pickup process was long (we had to wait for over an hour) and then the vehicle I received was a shitbox. It was unclean on the inside, and had dents and scratches on it all over outside. When I drove it, the power windows kept having issues, and the engine/transmission sounding like it could give out at any moment. It did not feel safe. I didn’t complain at the time of pickup because we had waited so long and I figured for approximately $25 a day, what I should have expected… but then they charged me twice. I’m also currently in the process of finding out why this cost me nearly $300 for 6 days, instead of the $170 that I paid in advance through Kayak. I probably won’t ever rent from this company or its Honolulu location ever again.Reviewed 13 Sep 2024

As far as the customer service goes, it was bad 3 out of 4 times we had contact with them. You get what you pay for I guess. Better stick to other rental companies. The employees are stressed out and weren’t really nice, except for one encounter.Reviewed 25 Aug 2024

You certainly pay for what you get. Pros: At a week and a half out we were able to rent a full size car for approx $45 a day. The car worked, as did the ac. Cons: the places feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere with only 2 people working. When we arrived there were 5 people ahead of us and the wait was about an hour. And you wait outside in a shaded but no ac. The car had over 100,000 miles on it. They have you sign 4 pages of disclosure but never mention that if there is sand in the car they’ll charge a $300 excessive dirt fee. The worst was the shuttle ride. Ruben, the driver was, not the sharpest tool in the shed. He was so rude, didn’t acknowledge he heard me when I said my airline after he asked. It was so hot and had his window down. While we sat in the last row sweating our butts off. This genius decides to turn the ac on after we depart Terminal 1…we were terminal 2. I will NEVER rent from this bottom feeding, nickel and dimming place again.Reviewed 6 Aug 2024

This was the worst rental car experience ever. They wouldn’t pick people up at the airport because the line was too long at the office. When we finally arrived at the office it was a junk yard with very bad quality cars. Their service was horrible and 2 hrs later we still didn’t get a car. Do not ever rent from them. We never got our car. They stole $1600 from us. We paid Kayak and are unable to get our money back. Kayak and Expedia, and Economy Rent a Car couldn’t issue a refund.Reviewed 11 Jul 2024
