Poor vehicle quality and servicePros:NothingCons:Office in a hotel room at airport which I thought was weird. Get the car, it was dirty and seat belt was broken in backseat where my youngest would sit. I simply ask that it be fixed, replaced with a different car and I would go on my way. After 2 hours of trying to convince me to just take that one because they didn’t have an option I canceled. They tried to tell me I couldn’t because I already signed the contract etc. after more arguing that I haven’t even driven it , I canceled, called my credit card company and walked in lobby of hotel/ office and lady who happened to own a small car rental was there to use the gym at hotel. She hooked me up in 10 min and I was gone! All In car rental is the way to go in Cabo Mexico!Reviewed 28 Jul. 2019

Pros:Located in hotel 1st floor (not ground floor, so technically 2nd floor) directly across from the airport, gas station nearby for refill before return. Carlos was on point! He texted me before the trip to confirm our arrival, and once I landed again, this means everything was ready to go and the vacation could start right away! Rented a Renault Duster, which was perfect for the less developed roads in and around Cerritos Beach and Todos Santos. AC was good, car was clean, BT was a bit hard to pair at first but google has that covered.Cons:Oops, pretty sure this is on me for not brushing up on my Spanish before the trip but, I told the guy that drove us back to the airport terminal 2 because it said international, due to language barrier he dropped us there, it isn't open yet, still under construction, lol Thankfully an airport employee saw us right away and drove us the short distance back because it was hot that day.Reviewed 6 Jul. 2020

Pros:Nothing, it was by far the worst rental car experience I have ever had and I've traveled a decent amount.Cons:Everything. They wasted over 3 hours of my time. There was zero sense of urgency to pick me up from the airport and get me to the rental car location (waited well over 90 minutes). Then when I was there I waited over an hour again. This kept my family waiting (including my infant nephew). Then they said I needed insurance even though I brought my insurance information. They tried to charge me an extra $300+ for insurance on top of the price I was quoted on Kayak. In the end, I left and got a car with another company. It cost me $210 total (including insurance). STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.Reviewed 9 Mar. 2021

Cons:There was no shuttle to pick us up at the airport. We carried our luggage and walked to the rental car place. When we got there we waited in line for a long time because there was a very unhappy customer who did not get picked up at the airport either, and who had paid online but was being charged double. When we finally got to the counter the woman said because we were later than our reservation had stated they cancelled our reservation and she did not have a car for us. So we went around the corner to Hertz and had a fine experience with them. We will never use Economy again.Reviewed 28 Dec. 2017

Pros:Drop off was easy.Cons:The required insurance wasn’t include in the upfront price and the cost was doubled when insurance was added. The car was a piece of junk, including drivers side large crack in the windshield, no power, one tire almost bald.Reviewed 25 Apr. 2021

Pros:Friendly staffCons:Car I reserved wasn't available. Instead, we were given an older car that seemed like it might break down at any moment. It also seemed to use a lot of gas (we had to fill up twice in 6 days and didn't really do that much driving).Reviewed 11 Apr. 2021

Pros:I did not receive a service... got a email letting me know that don’t have a car available, expecting to a full refund which it did not happen still .. thank youReviewed 27 Apr. 2021

Pros:The car was OK, had to jump it once because it couldn't stand the radio on and the car was very weak and sounded like it had some transmission problems. But it did it's job, can't expect much from a RenaultCons:I made the reservation for $70 for all 5 days, thought it was a great rate. When we got there they said there was a mandatory insurance that jumped the price to OVER $250 for 5 days. Why are we booking at such a low rate and believe that is the TOTAL price as the website says then figure out we need to pay 4x the price at the spot. Then I extended for another 2 days and it was over $120 for the 2 days. Super misleading and that is definitely Kayak's fault for quoting such low rates, I wish they would honor the rate that I was quoted before I made my way to Mexico and got ripped off because I needed a car. Literally everyone was complaining about the huge insurance rates at the store.Reviewed 13 May 2021
