Cons: My only constructive criticism would be regarding the shower. The shower in our room was showing a good bit of mildew and needs a really good grout cleaning. It’s starting to look pretty gross.

Cons: I think the pricing is a bit high for the overall package. But that same sentiment applies to a lot of the Nashville downtown hotels. We travel quite a bit, so the pricing for Nashville hotels comes as a bit of a shock when compared to other locations.

This all sounds a little trivial and I wouldn’t normally mention it but this is an expensive hotel. Also having to pay $6.50 for bottled water in a hotel of this standard wouldn’t be expected in the UK.

No reliable internet connection in the room - needed to go to the foyer to do work. For $1000 for 3 nights I would have been more satisfied by holiday Express room. Shocked about the hotel to be so highly rated. Very upset about star rating and associated pricing.

As we were leaving for a bite to eat, he had no suggestions and did not offer help in regards to the location of the nearest restaurant. We thanked him for his time even though he acted like he hated his job (checked in at 4:00pm 9/29/19. There are no amenities to make you feel like you are in a high end hotel (ex: no spa).

Cons: The management is pretty weak. We arrived at 5:15PM and still had to wait 1:15 to get in to our room. We had to ask 3 times and got 3 different excuses. When I finally got angry-ish the "manager" said "I don't know why you had to wait, your room has been ready all along." WTF. Valet didn't offer to help with bags. Windows in the room were not clean. One of these modern-ish places with the sliding barn door on the bathroom. Not the best for first trip away together...every drip, squirt and toot are loudly apparent. Stayed in the Peabody in Memphis the next night. The cover band (singer actually) in the bar was ridiculously bad in a town full of great musicians. The pool is tiny. You can't swim laps in it.

Cons: We had a very bad experience while trying to enjoy the small rooftop pool. There was a few very intoxicated adults and older adults who brought in their own alcohol amd proceeded to let their young kids run the pool and splash us over and over. When their Mom was approached to ask her kids not to repeatedly splash us intentionally she was yelling and getting in our space. Their is no management to control such situations and the bartenders did their best. The hotel manager was not apologetic or concerned and told my spouse and I we should have called 911 at that time. Very unprofessional and all we were offered was a late check out and that was forgotten about as well. I said average on all aspects of hotel to below average and they calculated a 4.6.

Cons: I think the price was higher than what the hotel offers. For example, there's no in-room coffee/tea. Usually with this price and star rating, hotels provide in-room complimentary water, coffee and tea. There was even no complimentary water bottles upon arriving into my room. Additionally with this price usually you find bathroom equipped with a bath tube. But here there was only shower. For breakfast, you to order your meal. The restauran doesn't provide a continental breakfast buffet that one finds it in other hotels.

Cons: We are from out of town and there was never anyone at the concierge desk to help the three or four times we needed someone. So we had to wait in reception line to ask any questions. Time waster. Also the room key was not working properly (for gym and our room) and we could not get into gym and into our room at one point. Had to go down to the front lobby reception and they called facilities but nobody around so security came 15 minutes later and let us in. Person at reception told us they had been having problems with gym entry.......so.........if you know about it then why not make arrangements to make sure guests can get in ..detour, someone to open door, etc. Pool had some things floating in it - could have been cleaner.

The valet staff are polite and attentive but you should be able to park and collect your own car during your stay. Corridor carpet was not cleaned adequately. Room was in need of brightening up. Breakfast was self served on disposable plates with limited overheated food. Doesn't compare with 4* in Middle East or SE Asia, but I guess it's what people in USA are used to.

Cons: Everything about the hotel was great except 2 things. 1. The shuttle does NOT run on Sunday’s. And that was not communicated until we got there. We were there from Sat - Mon am so all day Sun we had to take Uber’s 2. The staff is very weak. We were leaving Monday early as we had a long trip ahead of us but decided to wait to get some breakfast which was suppose to be open at 6. Upon going to breakfast there was a note on the door that said “ sorry running staff late, no breakfast till 7. I was very angry and feel that is NOT APPROPRIATE!! When I told the front desk that this was not acceptable, her answer was” I am not trained to do breakfast”. You’ll have to get it somewhere else!! Not appropriate. Other guests were angry too. She told us we could have a cold breakfast and then handed us a bag with a muffin and water. She should have been a lot more sympathetic and given us the bag first. The staff at the front desk the entire time we were there were always talking amongst themselves and having a grand time, while I and other guests waited for them to recognize that we needed help Although the location and hotel was nice as not to close to downtown , I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on staff. My husband travels for business and used points for this hotel. But would not use it again.

Cons: I booked this property two months ago and when we got there the desk person said all they had left was ground level. So we were stuck in the basement. Next we found what looked like a dead bug on the bed so we took it to the front desk and the manager said it wasn’t a bug it looked like chewing tobacco. MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE THERE FOR A CARRIE UNDERWOOD CONCERT!!! We certainly don’t chew tobacco. Then he said well we use commercial washers so it doesn’t always get everything out. Of all the things to say to a guest he says that??? Disgusting! Then as he walks away he says sorry about that. What?? So the girl at the desk says I’ll add 12,000 points to your Hilton Honors. I don’t want points I wanted a clean room or a discounted price. I didn’t get either and didn’t have time to argue the point bc we were on our way to the concert. Having to deal with that made us miss the shuttle to the concert so she called him to come back and he didn’t. We still had to wait another 20 minutes. Then the driver told us where he would pick us up after the concert and that he was picking others up too. So after we went to the parking lot where he said he would pick us up and he wasn’t there. We called the number he gave us several times and he never answered. We then called the front desk and they said they would get in touch with him and have him come get us. He never came. So we ended up walking a mile and a half back to the hotel and as we got there 45 minutes later we see the shuttle driver pulling out of the parking lot in his personal vehicle. And to top it off when we checked out we weren’t even asked how our stay was. Worst experience EVER!! At least the concert was awesome!! Also after checking my Hilton Honors account they didn’t even give give me the 12,000 points. I called and spoke with someone at the front desk and they assured me they would have the general manager call me. It’s been two days and I haven’t heard from anyone.

Cons: My room was beside the lifts, therefore I was unable to get any rest all week. The curtains were very thin and let in so much light so I had to go out and buy eye covers. It was extremely expensive for what it was. The breakfast was very disappointing. There was very little choice and no hot food. There were no ceramic plates, and the cutlery was plastic. The boiled eggs were peeled and sitting out all morning. The coffee was not fresh. There was no shuttle service into the city, which meant I had to pay for an Uber to and from the conference centre every day... this further increased the price.

Cons: They gave us a room that looked like it used to be part of the indoor pool area. When I pulled our curtain open, it was a sealed-shut sliding glass door with the pool deck on the other. It wasn't a very comfortable view. The people in the indoor pool looked at me funny when I opened my curtain, like I was spying on them. There was no other window and no other way to get natural light in the room than to open up this curtain. People in the pool area could see fully into my room, and I could see them fully. It looked like there were several other rooms with this setup. Maybe they used to be changing rooms attached to the pool area?

Cons: Both mornings I was awakened by a 3:45 am wake up call that I did not order. Second morning awakened at 3:30 am by fighting or some sort of drunken behavior next door in which the security had to came after my call, then for some reason felt it necessary to pound on my door after to let me know to call again if it started again. I can't say enough how the price I was billed for this motel was so far out of whack with what it is, I was as near as could be from just leaving it and loosing the reservation fee as could be.
