Originally constructed in the 1700's, the 15-room Inn on Ursulines is one of the oldest structures in the French Quarter. Located between the famed Royal and Bourbon Streets, this traditional Creole Cottage was once owned by voodoo priestess Marie Laveau, who operated it as a hotel for travelers to the city seeking her services. Engrossed in the property's rich history and architecture are guest rooms providing today's traveler the comfort and modern conveniences expected of great French Quarter hotels. Our inviting courtyard is your personal sanctuary near Bourbon St. offering a quiet refuge from the ongoing thrill that is the New Orleans experience.

Pros: It was cozy and a good location to the bars I wanted to be around. The staff was very friendly and had my room ready hours ahead of time. It was perfect so I was able to start my weekend vacation earlier than expected.
Carefully restored with traditional finishes, The Inn on St. Peter marries the desire for modern convenience and comfort with an historic French Quarter setting. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn was originally constructed in 1805, with its design influenced by the Spanish style of architecture during that period. Gorgeous private courtyards are nestled throughout the property and provide an ambiance and charm that brings every guest back to the peaceful days of the 19th century French Quarter.
