Pros: The first time my partner and I entered, we were treated like royalty. Staff helped us with all of the things we need help with. The room was amazing and the experience we had there was great. Even though we only stayed for one night, it was well worth it. Also, it was our anniversary so we came to a room with a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. It was a great surprise and definitely put the cherry on top for our trip... or should I say strawberry on top.

I was so impressed with her professionalism and kindness, I felt compelled to show her my appreciation with a little gift from Austin from me. Awanda, the overnight agent who did not hang up on me, did her best to get me in contact with her MOD. She knew the ball was dropped and her co-worker was totally out of line. I'm still in disbelief the other agent Brittany B actually hung the phone up in my face as I was speaking. MOD was asleep on property , but did wake up to speak with me. Made a lot of promises but no follow up the next day. I did believe he would try and salvage the rest of my nephews stay, to no avail.

Cons: Having a desk agent hang up as i was speaking to her about giving out a room number without verification. Hotel 101 basics. Also, after being assured my guest would not be asked to provide a MOP upon checking in, my guest was asked for a credit card that was authorized for 200.00. After I send over a 3rd Party Authorization Form that stated ALL CHARGES TO CARD ON FILE. Management did a poor job with the follow up. No one called me . I had to call the Hotel and ask Management to place a letter of apology in my guest's room explaining he should not have been asked to provide a credit card upon arrival. I was so embarrased, the stay which was not cheap, was my gift to my nephew and his new bride. I was offered NOTHING but a bunch of "we are so sorry". I recieved my invoice yesterday, no discount, they did not even attempt to offer breakfast knowing I wanted to provide in room service( breakfast). The Windsor Court is not the same!!! Rooms are still expensive but quality of service is so lacking. I will be looking into another 5 star hotel. This was an embarrassing moment for me , I will not allow the Windsor Court the opportunity to embarrass me again.

Cons: I was in room 422, which connects to 423 and there is no sound proofing between the rooms. The couple in that room fought all night long - screaming, slamming doors, the floor of my room was bouncing with the force of their physical fight. I heard every word and felt every blow in their sad tale that night. The front desk commiserated but did nothing. I got no sleep at all.

Cons: Beware that there are rooms that have no windows to the outside! My husband and I booked a king room with city views, but were notified on arrival that we had been "upgraded" to a king suite because we were celebrating our anniversary. When we got to our room, we realized in horror that the only window was a small window to the busy interior hallway. The idea of staying in that essentially windowless room was unbearable to me, and we asked to be transferred to any room with a window. We were transferred to a beautiful room the next day, but I would never have even booked the hotel had I known that we would spend the first night without natural light. It also felt disingenuous to call it an upgrade. The staff was also nice enough, but not the most competent.

Last but not least our housekeepers were awesome and kept everything clean, organized and provided us with needed room amenities. Thank you JW Marriott New Orleans for one of my most memorable stays.

Cons: One room was not ready when we arrived (after check in time). Were checked in but told to return later for key to 2nd room. We left our luggage in the room that was ready. When we returned 3 hours later there was a long line at check in. I went up to the counter, waited until the employee was done checking in his current customer, and requested the key to 2nd room (we were already checked in). Employee refused and said I had to go to the end of the line. I explained that I had already done that 3 hours ago, he still refused. Next customer in line told me to go ahead of him, otherwise I would have had to wait in line. I wish Ihad gotten his name, but I was so taken back I didn't think of it.

I called the front desk and was offered a room next to the elevator, but was told it would be very loud, hearing elevators all night. Bed sheets were dirty and the bedside table looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. After having spent that kind of money, I expected better. ( with parking included it was close to $800 for two nights).

He parked our car with a smile, helped us with our bags, and got our car in line for valet! The front desk was so happy and helpful. Clean rooms, smelled great, and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back!

Cons: This hotel lacks the basic modern necessities. No spots for the soap and washcloth in the shower, electrical outlets were not easily accessible, no towel rack near the sink, the tv was very small, no thermostat, no laundry facility. They need to get rid of the fancy amenities (lemon water, spa, bar) and replace it with things people actually need. Valet/parking is expensive. Staff won’t be very friendly if you don’t look like you have money.

Cons: Breakfast was not included, but there is a corner on the ground floor which sells coffee and pastries; if you have time, I would recommend to have breakfast elsewhere, especially because the staff was unfriendly and annoyed while serving customers - which to me appeared highly contrasting with the hotel staff attitude and policy. Valet parking is also very expensive, so I would recommend to go to a public parking one block farther, which is much cheaper. One night it has been hard to fall asleep because women from the room next-door made a lot of noise from midnight (when they were back to their room) till around 2:30am. They also checked out very early in the morning (around 5:30am), as we could hear from the noise they made while leaving the room, with no respect for their neighbors. It might be a coincidence, but our friends (whose room was at another floor) had a similar experience the night before...

Cons: The room I received when we checked in was disgusting. The sheets and bathroom were dirty. We were given another room the toilet handle was broke. When you ran the water it made a loud sound and started vibrating. The noise was so loud it woke us up when the other was using the bathroom. It was ridiculous to pay that amount of money for the hotel to be like that.

Cons: On the other way, when i came back from outside to my room, i found my room was unlocked. I was shocked and reported this problem to front desk. I was waiting and finally a security guy came to my room and changed a new key for me just in case. There is no follow up and any cares coming from hotel after the incident. I really wanted to know why my room got unlocked but no response at all from hotel side. I was disappointed at Hilton's service :(

Because we were arriving in New Orleans in the eving by plane and up early for the 7am Amtrak train, I booked this hotel for its proximity to the station (5 mins by taxi). But it was so good that I would happily book it again for a longer stay. The surrounding area felt safe but we didn't have time to venture far so I can't really comment on location. I also intentionally booked an internal room with no windows as we needed a sleep. It was very comfortable. And best of all was our amazing dinner and cocktails in Compere Lapin, the hotel restaurant. We ate at the bar which was great as we could talk to the bar staff and fellow diners

Cons: The hotel was old, dirty and basic, more like a 2* Motel! There was dust everywhere and the wooden floors were so slippery. We decided to only stay one night and move to another hotel! It was dark and dingy and not as described!

Cons: There was no WiFi with paying $14 per night! After being rude from the beginning, they up charged the price without mentioning it. Then, the front desk worker did not go over the rates or print out an agreement. It was a less than average experience and I would no recommend if you’re trying to travel on a budget. The beds were nice, and the great location is great for walking to the city.

Cons: The electricity was off for several hours. We were not notified, but were extremely inconvenienced. There was no WiFi. Since I'm a contract writer, I rely on internet when traveling to meet deadlines. The air conditioning also relies on electricity. Our room was not cleaned the first night.

The lobby wasn't complete at all, and I had to share the elevator with the construction crew. If I had another option- I would have changed my reservation. For the most part you didn't hear any construction, but on one Saturday they were fixing something right outside my door. I called downstairs and the staff handled it right away. The location is perfect and this hotel will be really dope once they finish the renovation...but right now...walk over to the Eliza Jane for the amenities of coffee + a lobby.

Cons: Parking is a hassle. Not every hotel has a parking garage, so you might have to park elsewhere and walk back to the hotel. Plan ahead for parking. They were in the middle of renovations, but it was not a major factor. Still a good stay overall.
