Cons: These are just minor complaints, not deal killers: Due to construction/renovation, access to the rooftop pool was inconvenient from our room. I wish the staff had warned us of this when we were checking in so we might have chosen or upgraded to a different room if available. Also, after arrival to the room we discovered there weren't any linens available for the sofa bed, so we had to call down and ask for those. Apparently it's hotel policy to have the guest request these. But given the number of people on our reservation for this suite, it seemed obvious that we'd be using the sofa bed and I wish they had anticipated this or asked directly.

Cons: I was sorry to say I was expecting a lot more second time in New Orleans first time at the Ritz was treated like they wanted me there. For the Roosevelt didn’t feel like we were noticed told them it was our 30th anniversary they didn’t care. The Ritz 5 years ago couldn’t do enough. At the Roosevelt, the toilet ran off and on all night and the cleaning crew left their cleaning gloves on the floor next to our luggage I have pictures if you want. I asked for wine glasses for our special occasion and waited 45 minutes decided forget it will go out. For the bed I could hardly sleep in needed a new mattress for sure. Truly disappointed was expecting a lot more, the Roosevelt is so beautiful when you walk inside ... big bummer. Staying at the Ritz next time.

Sean was extremely helpful with question prior to check-in , Grant was awesome with checking my group in and communicating when our other rooms were ready and Jay took care of all pre-checkout questions with my bill and late check-out and it was a pleasure talking with you about your career at 3am. Last but not least our housekeepers were awesome and kept everything clean, organized and provided us with needed room amenities. Thank you JW Marriott New Orleans for one of my most memorable stays.

Pros: Staff was awesome. Sean, Grant, Jay at the front desk made my groups stay very memorable and hospitable. It was truly the southern hospitality we all looked forward too. Sean was extremely helpful with question prior to check-in , Grant was awesome with checking my group in and communicating when our other rooms were ready and Jay took care of all pre-checkout questions with my bill and late check-out and it was a pleasure talking with you about your career at 3am. Last but not least our housekeepers were awesome and kept everything clean, organized and provided us with needed room amenities. Thank you JW Marriott New Orleans for one of my most memorable stays.
Cons: Only small room for improvement comment is that the hotel was freezing, especially in the guest room hallways.

Cons: Room didn’t get cleaned even thought we were gone 8-4 and by then we needed to rest and it was too late. Also would have been nice to have coffee in the lobby. We were disappointed the pool was closed on the first day which was our only day to be able to use it.

Pros: The Saint facility and staff were very helpful and nice. However, I was GREATLY DISAPPOINTED with booking.com. When I arrived at The Saint, my reservation was not in the system and hotel was sold out. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with booking.com. I won’t be recommending them to anyone in the future. This review is not against The Saint Hotel, they were helpful and helped me find another room near by.

Cons: if you had a pool that would be a game changer especially when its hot and humid and you rather spend time and money relaxing by a clean pool.... visited the bar twice ... very friendly staff but the deco was dark and depressing ... i completely understand one is in party area ( french quarters) but it felt very unsafe walking at night with so much homeless around.... which if the bar area was more inviting you would definitely get more guest staying in the hotel and spending more.

Cons: One room was not ready when we arrived (after check in time). Were checked in but told to return later for key to 2nd room. We left our luggage in the room that was ready. When we returned 3 hours later there was a long line at check in. I went up to the counter, waited until the employee was done checking in his current customer, and requested the key to 2nd room (we were already checked in). Employee refused and said I had to go to the end of the line. I explained that I had already done that 3 hours ago, he still refused. Next customer in line told me to go ahead of him, otherwise I would have had to wait in line. I wish Ihad gotten his name, but I was so taken back I didn't think of it.

I called the front desk and was offered a room next to the elevator, but was told it would be very loud, hearing elevators all night. Bed sheets were dirty and the bedside table looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. After having spent that kind of money, I expected better. ( with parking included it was close to $800 for two nights).

Cons: The last night of my stay my keys did not work and the staff did not replace my towels. I think they thought I was suppose to check out Monday and not Tuesday. Cons: I didn't like the rooftop restaurant. They make it look SO cool on the website. When we went up there it looked NOTHING like the website. No colorful cushions or any color anywhere. Said they serve but they didnt have any when we asked. They told us we could go all the way downstairs, order food at THAT restaurant, and bring it up??? Can't believe they actually said that. The drinks were AWFUL. Ordered a mojito. It did not taste like one. When we asked for mint, the guy said they didn't have any...we noticed LATER they had herbs all over the roof...mint was one of them. So the bartender was just too lazy to grab some. Not a good experience.

Cons: The rooms were really musty smelling which bothered my wife. We started in one room and the smell was too much for her so she asked that we be moved. The staff was very accommodating but the 2nd room was also musty. I think its just a symptom of an old hotel but it bothered her. Additionally, the pool was pretty small and cramped. Overall, it was a great value for the place but I might pay a little more next time to go newer.

There was some dom com fetish meeting on lots of very explicit/ people in chains costumes about. So wouldnt be good for families with young children.

Pros: The bed was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning definitely worked. The front desk staff was very courteous. I liked that the parking was on site, the parking cost was reasonable, and we had an option to valet or self park.
Cons: The rooms were extremely small and outdated. The tile in the bath tub had dark stains all around bottom. At first I thought it looked that way because it was wet from cleaning but it looked like an oily stain my entire stay. There was no window to see the city view only a window that looked out onto the lobby.

Pros: The location. It was just far enough from Bourbon and Canal street to avoid the noise, but also close enough to walk to any location within minutes.
Cons: The room I was in had water damage, mold and a faulty A/C unit. It took them 2 days to get me a room due to the rooms being overbook. They finally changed my room, but the walls are so thin and the large gaps under the door allow extra noise in. So it was a very restless vacation. Also the room had no windows to the outside so no sunlight came in. Room was always dark.

Cons: Air conditioning is hard to modulate... it was a bit chilly at times. There isn't an active restaurant associated with the hotel and the coffee shop wasn't open at 6:30 in the morning, which seems odd. We had to wait to get to the airport for a cup of coffee the morning we left.

Cons: Our room did not get cleaned everyday. The shower did not have a shower curtain so every time we showered there was water everywhere. They also did not have regular coffee fo the rooms everyday some days only decaf. Also when you arrive you are told you have to pay $40 per day for incidentals that can be refunded 3-5 business days after your stay.

Cons: They didn't tell me there was a $40 per night hold on my card. Normally the hotel tells you and ask which card you want to use, but they just went ahead and did it. Maybe I missed it, but I did not read that during the booking. The bar closes at 8pm and restaurant didn't open a few nights I was there. I wish I had known. Getting Housekeeping is a bit challenging and communicating with 1 of ladies was difficult because she spoke no English it's a good thing I knew a few words in Spanish. I kept the curtains closed because outside the window was very dirty. 4pm check in is very late and check out is 11am. Make sure you plan how you will eat everyday plus the food at the restaurant was in my opinion only ok and the menu was limited

I reported it to the front desk several times, but the door was slightly ajar my whole stay.
