Cons: "I dunno if it's something WestJet rules dictate for landing, but EVERY WestJet flight I've been on, the landing into YXJ is short and very hard!! I'm NOT at all an AC fan, but AC, CMA all land longer and MUCH smoother...in all weather conditions"

Pros: "Maybe not Westjets fault but one of the affiliated companies. Loading up for Cranbrook, I could over hear the baggage loaders day, “we’re overweight”. Next thing you know, 4 people are short their luggage at the final destination. Takes one day out of my vacation."

Cons: "I was told I had time to run to washroom before boarding, and 5 min later the boarding area was empty and I was locked out. Plane was ready to leave me because the guy at desk forgot to tell them I wasn’t there yet. Thankfully I was able to hunt someone down to let them know I was there."

Pros: "The crew were so kind and friendly. Kept the spirit upbeat and served us well. The bulkhead was roomy enough for carry on bags, so they weren’t taken away from us to be checked, which happened to us on the same flight last year with another Canadian airline."
Cons: "I do miss personal screens in seats, although I understand it’s not really necessary anymore. If there were a ledge or place in seats to accommodate personal devices for better viewing, that would b amazing. No more neck cricks."
Cons: "Luggage left behind due to a troubled fire alarm system in the baggage dept of the plane This maintenance issue delayed us 4 hours The ground crew had to push one of their loading tractors out from under the plane after unloading the luggage. Perhaps the PEI airport crew are lacking in maintenance procedures. It's always a little things that get you into trouble and cost lives."
Pros: "Food vouchers in Calgary for the 6 hour flight delay due to WesJet computer issues on Toronto plane. $100 credit Bag pick up Minmico at WS Care Centre tried hard to arrange a seat on an earlier flight due to my inquiry; let me call home twice on her phone to advise husband of flight changes. She tried to organize my bag to be put on the earlier flight at the last minute although she was unsuccessful."

Pros: "Westjet is great but charging for checked bags makes customers stuff more and carry more onto the plane. Westjet should rethink this as the overhead bins are becoming tougher to find space for luggage"

Cons: "I upgraded to Plus for my flight and I expected more leg room, because I am 6'5. I felt cramped and couldn't sleep. Emergency exit would have been better. My neck hurt after the flight because you have to look down at your phone the whole time while watching movies. Food was mediocre, it wasn't top of the line. Wont fly westjet again."

Pros: "I loved flying West Jet and would happily do it again. The food was good (preordered) and we got to our destination safe and sound which is always much appreciated. Our flight was on time and we had no trouble boarding or any technical issues at all."
Cons: "I didn't like how internet/any entertainment had to be pre paid. We already pay a lot (even for the food...$9 wraps!), so to charge for literally everything seems a little much. Also not a fan of the reclining seats. We have zero leg room to begin with, I don't need some stranger crushing my knee because he wants to attempt to move back. I just shoved my knee into the back of the chair so he couldn't move back anymore."

Noisy and then the gate is at the end of the old part of the Calgary airport. Having to board and get off the plane in rainy weather. How bush for both airports. Pros: "Check-in agent in Kelowna was nice as were gate agents. The seats were fine even though we were in the back of the small plane. Flying in and out of Kelowna brought back memories of flights long ago: no jet ways and prop planes. It was nice they had a ramp rather than stairs."

Cons: "Need a check on Canadian flights when booking to see if the person needs a visa now that the rules have changed. I spent an hour at the airport filling out the on-line visa application unsure if I would be able to make the flight... just glad that the process took an hour and was approved. Please add a box to check if not a US citizen to refer to ETA site for visa needs.... less stress"
Horrific airline. This trip didn't even happen!! We got to the airport and were told at check-in that our tickets were canceled WITHOUT NOTICE! I begged the agents for more info and was told we were blacklisted for using a fraudulent credit card. The card was debit and the funds were already taken out! The desk agents all left, and we were left with zero solution. We had to book another flight with a different airline which cost us $2300 in addition to the $550 Flair already took from us. I have been on the line for 30 minutes to speak to an agent. Does not look promising. AVOID FLAIR AT ALL COSTS.
They make you pay for everything:- hand carriage, seat, check-in and don't even offer you a cup of water! It turnout much more expensive than AC !
I didn’t like It at all cause of delays and cancellations last minutes? No entertainment not even charging points in plane ..and I noticed when one flight landed from flair’s air plane the reuse that plane which is fine but no safety protection no sanitary nothing .
Flight was late

Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour on the tarmac because an engine wouldn't start!"
Pros: "Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself."
Cons: "The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!"

Cons: "Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future."
Pros: "The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs."

Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back."

Cons: "I was told by transat to down load an App. to watch entertainment only to be told by Flair Air that they did not provide the service and that I was given the wrong information. So no TV for 5 hrs."
Cons: "New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given"
