Cons: New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given

Pros: The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs.

Cons: Similar problem on the way home, could not book luggage online but could check in. Shop closes at 5 CST so could not call. Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back.

Pros: Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself.

Cons: The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!

Pros: Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room.

Cons: Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future.

Pros: I liked nothing

Cons: Cancelled flight, ride couldn't pick us up, crew didn't show, got in 3 hours late, had to take a taxi, no food offered...

Pros: The crew were nice!

Cons: But this was like flying in an antique from the 20th century. No screens, AC not working well, tiny cabin. One of the bathrooms didn’t even have a sink.

Excellent 8.5

Pros: Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room.

Cons: Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future.

Pros: Crew were great.

Cons: I was told by transat to down load an App. to watch entertainment only to be told by Flair Air that they did not provide the service and that I was given the wrong information. So no TV for 5 hrs.

Excellent 8.0

Pros: Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself.

Cons: The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!

Pros: At least they flown us back home..

Cons: Our flight to Toronto delayed by almost 3 hours and this was updated only 20 minutes before boarding, staff at checkin counter giving senseless excuses for the delay like crew members yet to come, weighing and balancing the baggage for fuel upload and even funny thing that captain just started his paper work for departure ( this is 2 hours after scheduled departure ). Did not offer any food coupons or any kind of compensation to anybody which created lot of inconvenience for travelers with young children..show some empathy Westjetters and operate like a professional carrier not like a curb side cab driver..

Okay 5.0

Pros: I liked the friendliness of the crew.

Cons: The flight left late and was very full. The crew allowed passenger to board with carry-ons that were WAY BIGGER than allowed so the bins were stuffed and my small tote bag shoved to the back where I couldn't reach it and my rain jacket moved to another bin. Get some control over carry-ons over regulations size. Some were humongous! Flight was late, but I know that happens. BUT when the pilot touched down in Toronto it was with the biggest WHUMP I've experienced in 10 years. Maybe think about retesting his skills! Not kidding here!

Good 7.0

Pros: Relative to other airlines a good experience all around.

Cons: I'm used to bringing my own snacks but it would be nice to see just some nuts or something one day on a plane so celiacs can have a cheap snack. As always planes are tiny things packed full of people so that comfort won't go up until they can afford to make planes more comfortable for non sardine humans.

Pros: Movies available. Food available for purchase.

Cons: It was crowded in the back of the aircraft. Many vacant rows were available, but my advance check in and seat change / upgrade was not available on line. I would have paid to have moved up to an un-occupied section of the aircraft if I could have. My mistake. I should have got up and walked around looking for these vacant seats. Despite the captain announcing that WIFI Internet was available for purchase. There was no WIFI on this aircraft. I am a tech guy. The flight attendant said just use your credit card. NO there was no WIFI available.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.

The fares displayed include all taxes and fees for economy class travel and were found by the provider in the last 72 hours. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and days. Fares are subject to change and may not be available on all flights or dates of travel. Some carriers charge additional fees for extra checked bags. Please check the carriers' sites.
