Pros: The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs.

Cons: Similar problem on the way home, could not book luggage online but could check in. Shop closes at 5 CST so could not call. Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back.

Pros: Relative to other airlines a good experience all around.

Cons: I'm used to bringing my own snacks but it would be nice to see just some nuts or something one day on a plane so celiacs can have a cheap snack. Pros: The crew were very friendly, sweet and accommodating. I had a seat by the exit which I luckily didn't have to pay extra for and the leg room was ample and really helpful on a long flight. The meal was pretty good, but I really wished airlines would stop wasting so much plastic - I think there should be a way we can support the environment better when flying.

Cons: I didn't realize Air Transat was a bare-bones airline (not that my flight was cheap in cost) - we didn't have pillows or blankets for the flight (10 hours) and had to pay for them! Seems like that should be standard on a long haul flight. The seats are very narrow with poor back support, and my back started to hurt 5 hours in. Many people were standing in the aisles as it was so uncomfortable. I was very cold throughout the flight, which was another uncomfortable aspect. One of the bathrooms was out of order which resulted in everyone using the same one - you can imagine how smelly and messy it got.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Delayed flight, my seat was bumped from an aisle to a window seat although I checked in online and secured the Seat 24hrs prior to departure. The excuse I was given by staff is that the person sitting next to me is a “big” person so it’s for my benefit. Well the row I had planned to sit in had two people with an empty seat in between. And they were not “big” as was said. my seat I was moved to had sick children behind my seat whom were coughing and kicking the back of my seat and the row was completely full. An aweful experience and to top it off, the planes entertainment program was broken so we were provided with no entertainment, video or audio.

Pros: Flight was quiet and uneventful. Kudos to the pilots.

Cons: Our flight from YEG to YYZ was delayed by over an hour. Normally this wouldn't bother us, as we did not have a chance to get flight, however, we felt we were deceived and lied to by Air Transat at the gate. Specifically, the staff at the gate indicated that our flight would be delayed "intentionally" according to airline policy, to take advantage of favourable tailwinds to get the flight to YYZ on time. This explanation maked no sense, and was unfounded from a cursory Google search. When we finally boarded an hour later, the captain on the flight indicated that the plane was actually LATE arriving to YEG from a previous flight. I'm not expecting any specific reimbursement for the inconveniences to us or our family picking us up, but we and other customers should NEVER be decieved. If the flight is late, tell us, and indicate whether connecting flights (for those that have them) will be withheld or not or to make appropriate arrangements if otherwise not possible.

Pros: There was not much to like... we boarded quickly that was about it.

Cons: For starters, they should offer water and juice on all flights. On my outbound trip they only offered water and it took them a long time to offer the water. Also, on my inbound trip they turned on the lights after take off and had them on for a while. Seats are also SMALL.

Pros: Crew were great.

Cons: I was told by transat to down load an App. to watch entertainment only to be told by Flair Air that they did not provide the service and that I was given the wrong information. So no TV for 5 hrs.

Pros: Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself.

Cons: The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!

Pros: Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room.

Cons: Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future.

Good 6.3

Pros: The staff - they're always pretty good. The food is also very decent - lot's of jokes about airline food but it's not bad.

Cons: The seats need some sort of engineering redesign - like maybe they all recline in a row. Airplane seats are never comfortable. Also, for entertainment, they offer USB and AC power which is good, but they should also look into upgrading all the tablets and running linux on them or some operating system with less overhead - the movie displays are really slow and unwieldy.

Excellent 10.0

Pros: Flight cancelled due to weather, the workers made it seamless.

Cons: Had to tack on extra expenses for food while waiting for the next flight. Should have gotten some type of vouchers to cover meals at the very least during cancellations. That would be next level.

Mediocre 2.6

Cons: Many connecting flights jammed together F terminal at YYZ. SOME thing caused delay after delay. This really messed up baggage people. Once we boarded after like - 10 delays and a gate change, there were NUMEROUS whole-flight mixups with luggage - so many similar flight numbers traveling to same destination and whole flights awaiting their luggage. Our party of four had our luggage spread through THREE different planes. WTH? No customer service at DTW once we arrived and there were so many livid people. Absolutely awful. We were supposed to arrive at 5PM and it's now 3:11AM. My son just completed filing a luggage claim loss. And we are off to drive home to Grand Rapids two hours away. Nightmare.

Pros: My first trip started on a poor note; I got to airport about an hour before boarding, only to find out that my flight was rescheduled from 9:30am to about 6:15pm ( or so) on that same day without prior notice. I went up to the counter and asked for confirmation for the switch and inquire if there was an issue, which may have affected my original flight. Turned out that the change was due to weather conditions at Toronto (makes sense). I had suggested that it would have been nice to receive some sort of notification, before starting that day way too early and inconvenience of going to pickup my car from the airport parking, only to come back again. The attendant sympathized with my plight and compensated me with a lunch voucher (which was nice of him and WestJet). Matter was resolved; I came back to catch my flight and the trip was wonderful :)

Cons: I didn't like the fact that my flight was rescheduled without receiving any notification from Westjet.

Cons: New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
