Cons: New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given

Excellent 8.0

Pros: Plus section is very comfortable and service is very good. Food is so-so, but included in the Plus ticket price as are drinks. The flight attendants are always very accommodating and friendly and do a great job. I didn't use the entertainment system.

Cons: Didn't care for the Turkey Crossient sandwich. All processed "Turkey" and very salty.

YYZ
YYC
Excellent 8.0

Pros: I liked the fact that all the movies food and beverages were included in my Plus seat.

Cons: This was my first time booking a PLUS seat and never realized that row 2A seat sucks. Its a bulkead row seat that is by the window. This seat was worse to sit in than any other seat on the plane. This seat is located were the plane starts to curve in toward the front of the plane reducing the seat width, I have a 33" waist and it was tight. The arm wrests in this row don't come up as they stow your table, as well the leg room is only as good as a regular seat because of the bulkhead location. So FYI do not book this seat on a long flight.

YYZ
YYC
Mediocre 2.6

Cons: I had a very rude and mean flight attendant. I was yelled at and wasn’t offered any beverages or food afterwards. I was ending a phone call with the rcmp and without rudely hanging up on him due to my truck being stolen and being out of the country for 11 days. I was yelled at from 6 rows away in a very arrogant rude tone for the whole plane to hear. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable for the rest of the flight as well as being in a bad mood. Not being offered any beverages or food afterwards also made for a long flight. Was not impressed in the slightest as I fly with west jet every week and have never had such a rude flight attendant.

Cons: My seat was GTE. I didnt know till the last minute if I will be able to get on a plane. How does the airline decide which passenger won't have an assigned seat? Is it legal to overbook a flight? There was something wrong with a plane which caused a chain of delayes, that I can kind of understand but wouldn't like to be on standby ever again, too stressful.

Pros: Food has to be paid for on board- and the quality is not that great. Friendly staff willing to please

Okay 4.6

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Waiting for a plane to go that wasn’t ready to move, going for 2 rounds of de-icing when the 1st wore off, losing our place in line. Should have waited a little longer at 1st de-icing so we could have left in allotted time period (20 minutes after application). Also fairly certain we left Toronto Airport past the 20 minutes of 2nd de-icing. Which resulted in many passengers missing connection flights (myself included) with as much as a “We are sorry” from Air Canada. I know the weather was an issue, but wasn’t sole cause.

Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back.

Pros: Price

Cons: Checking site was down Boarding was delayed because of crew forgot to tag Cary-on luggage for passengers, we had to all go off the plane to identify our luggage’s No space on the airplane, didn’t get to sit beside my wife. Would not recommend Pay the extra to go with a reputable airline.

Pros: The seat space was good and the flight ended without incident.

Cons: The flight was delayed which happens, but there was no communication as to why or how long it would be or any other information. In flight the crew were barely visible as I had to ask for refreshments and then they brought it around for everyone. Next was cleanup which took way longer before it showed up.

Pros: Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room.

Cons: Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future.

Pros: The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs.

Cons: Similar problem on the way home, could not book luggage online but could check in. Shop closes at 5 CST so could not call. Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back.

Pros: Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself.

Cons: The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!

Pros: Selection of entertainment good.

Many of the couples and family members were left to work with other travellers who were facing the same situation. Families with children?

Pros: Missed scheduled flight from Toronto to Calgary. The staff at the desk in Toronto were most helpful and kind. A new boarding pass was printed for the next flight and she assured me that my checked luggage would accompany me from Toronto to Calgary. They also printed a boarding pass for my next flight to Lethbridge. On arrival in Calgary flight personnel ask all patrons to remain seated to allow those of us who had a connecting flight to depart first. I certainly appreciated this kind suggestion and it allowed me more time to reach my next departure gate.

Cons: Prior to arriving at the desk I was anxious about missing the flight to Calgary and it was a very long trek in the airport and I had to clear customs and security.

Pros: The staff were great!! So friendly and helpful although it was an hour wait to get to customer service she was very helpful in getting me on a flight hours earlier than the one I was booked on. She was very empathetic to the fact I was supposed to be in Calgary at 10:30am and the flight I was booked on wasn't going to get me there until 11:30pm

Cons: All day I had been reset for flights I were going to miss. When I fianally made it to Toronto and I get put on the 3rd flight to leave for Calgary...thankfully for the last noted above. In the end I missed my ride from the airport and had to rent a car. It made for a very long day!! Although the staff were friendly I just felt shuffled all day

Pros: Boarding was almost on time. Crew was good.

Cons: Why did I pay additional $200 dollars to check 1 bag? $70 Canadian there, $50 pounds back (converted to $100 on my bank app.) Ridiculous won't be flying this airline again. Food was terrible - didn't eat. The crew didn't turn off the plane lights to MCR overnight flight, didn't sleep even 1 minute.

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
