  • In addition to servicing most of the flights to Ahmedabad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is known for being the largest airport near the popular city of Gandhinagar. If you are interested in visiting Gandhinagar or another city in the Gujarat region, book a flight to Ahmedabad’s airport and simply reserve additional ground transportation to your final destination.
  • Because Ahmedabad is so far from Canada, it is not currently possible to find a direct flight between these two locations. If you would like to keep your travel time as short as possible, consider flying with either Air Canada or Air India, as these companies are known for offering many flights with just one layover rather than two.
  • Interested in purchasing some gifts or souvenirs in Ahmedabad? Visit one of the several duty-free stores located in Terminals 1 and 2 of Sardar International Airport. These shops sell a variety of items including local goods, food products, electronics, cosmetics and clothing.
  • For those that would like to store some of their luggage or personal items after their flight to Ahmedabad has landed, stop by the baggage area of Sardar International Airport. There is a desk where you can drop off your belongings and pay either a daily or hourly rate.
  • If you would like to be pampered after a long day of traveling, pay a visit to the O2 Spa located in Terminal 1 of Sardar International Airport. This spa offers a variety of services, including massages, facials and manicures, making it a convenient place to relax after your flight has landed.
  • The main arrival airport for flights to Ahmedabad is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD). To connect from the airport to the city centre, you can use public buses, airport shuttles, or taxis. Airport shuttles and public buses are more affordable than taxis. However, taxis are faster and more convenient for those who want to take the shortest time possible before arriving in the city centre.
  • Consider booking Air Canada or KLM if you're taking your kids to Ahmedabad. Children under the age of eleven are eligible for reduced ticket pricing while travelling with KLM. Your kids will fly more comfortably and in roomy seats with extra legroom if you choose Air Canada. On lengthy flights, such as those to Ahmedabad from Canada, both airlines provide family-friendly entertainment.
  • In addition to being the gateway to Ahmedabad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport also serves other nearby cities, including Gandhinagar and Nadiad, which are 23 km and 47 km, respectively, from AMD. Emirates is superb service. The A380 was very comfortable. The cabin crew is really helpful

Ove the A380 planes. Comfortable seats. Served great Indian food and Masala Chai!

Overall was a good experience and this particular flight the crew were great too at least in business class. It’s not always the case with flydubai. Few things would make me think twice in the future on this route. 1. The arrival into T3 might sound good but it is a real pain as it takes almost 30 mins to get to terminal on the bus as the aircraft still park at T2. The bag takes even longer . If they just let us off at T2, I’d be home within 30 mins of walking off the plane. Instead it takes 1.5 hours. 2. Due to the timing, the very tiny lounge in Penang is so crowded because half the lounge is closed for Qatar crew. Hardly anywhere to sit. 3. Flydubai app and site has a long way to go and using it is very unpleasant.

The plane seemed pretty old and the food was not good

Flight was delayed by and hour but were informed beforehand

Charged for internet that never really worked. The food selection was just ok.

Boarding, seats, entertainment and service were all great. The food was great except for the fact that there were too many sweet items.

The service on board was excellent, the flight wasn’t overbooked and we departed and arrived on time.

Ticket price is competitive, flight time is punctual, aircraft cabin is clean, food is average. Can improve on serving system of meals on a A380 airbus. I had only 15 min to eat my meal. There are lots of people to serve & took a while for food to make it down to my row.

The service was great. However the lounge only gets passing grade

I appreciate that KLM was proactive in informing me of the 2 hour delay which enabled me to replan my travel. It was a bit stressful not knowing whether my connection from Montreal to Ottawa was happening. But the ground and air crew did a good job at comforting and assuring me.

Cabin crew professional, polite and friendly, boarding was seemless, but come on KLM surely you can do better than a pack of cheesy biscuits as an inflight snack

Cabin crew were excellent, very proffesional, polite and friendly, in flight snack was underwhelming, a packet of cheese biscuits, im sure KLM could run to a sandwich!

Legroom not all it could be, especially when the seat in front is reclined. Otherwise it was good, food and beverage were nice.

You should not have to pay for WiFi in business class

Transfer at Amsterdam airport is very convenient and the airport is easy to navigate. Boarding was also quick and easy. Cabin crew were excellent and the meals were good, although lacking in options.

This fight left ahead of time which meant it arrived early which was great. Staff were very professional, but as with all these Short hop Flights the food was a disappointing snack There was no entertainment on this flight, but I did not expect any

I flew premium economy and this was a good option. Although the seats didn’t recline much, I was able to get some sleep with my head propped against the window. The food was good and the entertainment was wonderful The staff were very attentive and professional

They only had vegetarian food left on the flight which I wasn’t happy about. I didn’t get any food to eat at all.

They didn't board by zones and it was a free for all. The 16 hour flight was the most excruciating experience of my life and the seats were TINY... with no leg space and my feet were swollen immediately. The food was so bad it was inedible.

I recently travelled with Qatar Airways from Doha to Dulles in the QSuite, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The QSuite truly feels like a First-Class experience, with its luxurious design, privacy, and comfort. The cabin crew, especially the lady in charge of the cabin, was remarkable—professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was excellent, and the comfort of the seat was absolutely first-class, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. While the in-flight experience was outstanding, I have a few points of feedback. Firstly, the content available in the in-flight entertainment system could be expanded and upgraded to include a more diverse and updated collection. This would elevate the entertainment experience to match the premium standards of the QSuite. Secondly, regarding the Wi-Fi service: while QSuite passengers receive one hour of complimentary Wi-Fi, any additional usage requires a fee of USD 10. Considering the premium pricing of QSuite, it would be more fitting to include unlimited Wi-Fi as part of the experience, further enhancing the luxury offered to passengers. Lastly, I must highlight an issue with luggage handling. Unfortunately, my luggage did not make it through the transit, which was disappointing. While the ground crew assured me that it would be delivered to my home on the same day as it was arriving on the next flight, this promise was not fulfilled, and the delay added unnecessary inconvenience to an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, the QSuite experience was exceptional, but addressing these areas would further solidify Qatar Airways’ position as a leader in luxury air travel.

I purchased Qatar airways after seeing ads about its service. To my surprise Qatar is marketing gimmick and horrible airlines which I don’t recommend to anyone Flight was dirty including flight from Miami to Doha And Doha airport restrooms are dirty On top of this they use this pathetic cheap indigo From Doha to Hyderabad which I will never fly Also they lost one of my baggage in Indigo and still waiting to receive it. I will never travel Qatar and will never recommend

Aircraft was spacious compared to American Airlines, food was great, entertainment was much better with a wide variety of options, and the crew was very polite.

There was not enough food for everybody. Some dishes were missing.

The overall flight experience between Doha and Kolkata was satisfactory. The staff onboard were notably engaged, responsive, and enthusiastic, providing a level of service that stood out, especially when compared to the less attentive crew on the earlier leg from Heathrow to Doha. Their eagerness to assist made the journey more pleasant. Additionally, the time spent at the Silver Lounge in Doha contributed positively to the experience. The lounge offered a comfortable and relaxing environment, with adequate amenities and attentive staff. Overall, both the flight and the lounge experience in Doha met expectations, making for a smooth and satisfactory travel experience.

Check in desk people constrained by fear. Obvious typo on Uganda visa, even though approved, caused loss of flight. Something is definitely wrong with this system.

Being a platinum member, no attention given. No towel or tissue provided.

Fly Qatar Airways is always amazing. Their service and care for details is really very good.

As gold member there is no priority checkin. Meaning you either have to board with your zone or last with business class pax. As economy pax all the baggage bays are filled by the time you arrive

The food could be better. Toilets were smelly all along

Horrible. After paying for seats, I was cramped, my daughters legs kept hitting the seat in front, I had no overhead bin space and no help from stewards on board, the food was served cold, when asked for snacks was told to wait and never received any, the flight was cold with no temperature controls. Entertainment was outdated. I booked this through partnership with American Airlines but will avoid in the future.

Horrible. After paying for my seats, I was cramped, had no overhead bin space, freezing as the flight had no temperature controls, the food was awful and served cold, when asked for snacks was told to wait and then never received any. I booked this flight as a partner through American Airlines but will avoid in the future.

Extremely bad food, they never gave our bags in time, the online check-in did not let us check in because we had Indian OCI not sure why we were given the option to check in then, because we couldn’t check in online we had to go in person and we were not able to change our seats and sit with our family

Should have had business class line in immigration. Food quality suboptimal

The staff were wonderful but the seats weren't very comfortable for a bigger guy like me.

Likes: on time departure, new plane Didn’t like:very poor quality food, very limited entertainment.no amenity kit etc.

This flight was a dreamliner so I think the space was ok for the legs, but the option for food was again limited and the crew was same.

The seat was like there is no leg space....there were no proper option for food in the airline. It seemed like the airline was at brink of bankruptcy. The crew was helpful except for a few.

Boarding was efficient, had to check in cabin luggage. Seats were narrow, food was more in quantity, received cabin luggage on the luggage belt which was fine.

Bad seats. Broken entertainment system. Charging port not working. Seats were broken worn out. Crew was amazing. They helped as much as they could.

Why should I rate entertainment if I’ve not used? You don’t have NA - Not Applicable option.

my experience with kayak was terrible. Team kayak just left me with a booking and limbo and preffered not to contact me.. Instead when I contacted the team they said the booking is cancelled. Seriously 5 days after booking u were waiting of my call to inform me of the incompetence of the team. This will be taken up with higher authorities

only passenger seats are too much narrow. It’s not comfortable otherwise it’s good. Seats are very important because it’s main in Travel

Miss my flight from delhi to amritsar due to lock the luggage door of airplane.and there was no more flight even for next days and they not refund the fare. I took bus grom delhi.. bad experiance.

very run down aircraft. seat tilted. the mobile / magazine holder was broken. The entertainment screen was not working. The crew was good, polite and helpful

Boarding was through bus even though aerobridges were empty. Major mess

Never can get flight and nof light for three days .finally travel by bus. Very bad experience.

Poor hygiene in the lavatories. Limited control of passengers who often were up standing around my seat talking loudly with their friends.

Extremely bad experience compared to Vistara. No priority in check in, no priority for boarding. No upgrade. Seat selection is paid. Curtains were dirty. Demo bag was dirty. Warmth of the crew was missing.
