The service and the food were excellent. Only the pajamas were a little tight for me (haha) but I managed. Thank you for recommending this airline to us

Cons: "I tried to check in online a day before the flight as per email advisory but most of the seats were blocked already and whatever seats left open were only a few and those were tbe ones in the middle or the ones that you need to pay additional. so I decided to check in at the airport but their staff didn’t help much. They still gave us seats away from each other even if I explained that we have some health issues that’s why we need to stay together."

My flight with WestJet was cancelled due to weather and because I booked with Kayak I was not a priority for rebooking so I have not been able to find a flight for five days. My vacation time would be over at that point. I was not aware of that in cancellation I would not be a priority And could not find another flight. In a good point, I was refunded quickly and without issue it’s very disappointing. You plan your vacation and cannot find another flight without long layovers.

Our luggage was not transferred to final destination. There was plenty of time for the transfer. Just a mess up on AC.
I missed that flight because Air Canada did not send my luggage which caused delays at Customs

Air Canada has the worst reliability of any airline I’ve ever dealt with. Their hold times to speak to an agent are deplorable.
The layover in Montreal in the lounge was long and nothing special.
Stop sending small planes for international travel and make sure the entertainment system works for everyone. But the staff was very accommodating which reduced my stress level.
I was sold the ticket as an Air Canada flight. But I wasn’t able to either select a seat or pre-check online. Every time I attempted to do so I’d get a “Unable to continue. Try again later.” When I get to the airport I find out it was a United Airlines flight. As I go to check in, every seat on the plane is already sold out with the exception of two aisle seats for an additional $141. Now I’m sure I’ll have to pay a similar amount on the way back. All of this on a round trip advertised for $248! What a racket!
They canceled my flight, without telling me. They didn’t refund me either, they gave me a credit.
It took 2.5 hrs wait time to get wheelchair, even then had to walk to the gate due to bad planning. The flight was delayed 2 hrs making me miss the connecting flight in Zurich. Was told I’d fly to Frankfurt to catch another connection but ultimately was sent to London and then on to Delhi because YYZ was just disorganized. Never flying air canada again. The crew was unhelpful, irritated, just bad hospitality.
The landing was a little rough fit the size and weight of the plane we made it .
Cons: "Basic Economy options for carry-on confusing/not clear. Surprise charge of $110.00 once we got to the airport. Airline specified on website that a full sized carry on was not allowed. We were under the impression that meant a personal item (second personal item) was allowed as that is not a full sized carry-on. Confusing language! Airport personnel were entirely unforgiving. Basic Economy is a tactic to attract customer at low price but with substantially subpar options."

Pros: "I always feel merely "tired" after the Denver-Tokyo flight on UA's 787 Dreamliner. On all other aircraft, I always feel "exhausted" after an intercontinental flight. The increased humidity and pressure make an incredible difference. As usual, I paid a ~$300 premium to take this flight (HKG-NRT-DEN and back) rather than cheaper HKG-SFO-DEN or HKG-SEA-DEN routings, which feature 777 or A330 aircraft."
Cons: "As long as you don't expect the level of service you would receive on an Asian carrier, United is fine. As usual, United's cabin crew are simply not generally gentle and welcoming. They get their jobs done, and I feel safe with them, but I don't look forward to interacting with them. I wish ANA would operate NRT-DEN!!!"
