Turkish Airlines made a long flight from YVR to IST a great flying experience. From the attendants, to the food, to the entertainment program to all the extras, a twelve hour flight ‘flew by’. Late departure and arrival was not the airline’s fault.
My experience with Turkish Airlines was good. I didn’t get the meal I ordered. So I didn’t have anything to eat which was disappointing.
Boarded via bus instead of the air bridge Had to wait 10mins in the bus at the tarmac before we were allow to go up
The flight attendants were great! The seating for business class is better on other airlines. The food was also good!
Great food, great entertainment and very helpful, caring & attentive staff.
Food is getting worse. They use to be different than other airlines. Their economy classes food sucks. Stuff was very helpful.
Horrible, they forgot our luggage, the food was terrible, the crew were rude, the flight was delayed, I hated every aspect of this flight
The flight was delayed so connection was missed. In Istanbul we were taken to a hotel and no one in the hotel knew so we had to wait hours in the lobby of the hotel while the airline and hotel coordinated. The airline staff is rude at times
The checking line was very long , when checked the bags and got the boarding pass but moved fairly fast . The boarding line was long and the ground crew didn’t provide priority to kids boarding . But the air crew on the plane were very nice and polite . Too bad my daughter’s table try was broken which made the trip less enjoyable.
Food could have been hotter. More padding needed in economy seats
I wish I knew in advance that the connecting flight was by indigo air
I appreciated the vailability of wheelchair services for persons with mobility issues all the way up to the aircraft. What could be better would be the food choices.
Initial booking was confusing and had to get new CC issued.

My baggage is lost. Flight cancelled, Rebooked ticket through long routes. Mental stress, emotional hurt
Excellent will be flying again in May with Qatar. to Botswana.
Boarding delayed, no communication. I left the lounge, and heard a final call, boarding started after a 30 minutes.
This flight was packed and undercrewd! Service cart cam by twice on a 14 hour flight

I liked everything about the flight. The only thing I would suggest improving is the cleanliness of the plane. With better cleaning, the overall experience would be much better.
Good. Our connecting flight was over an hour late but the airline held the flight to IAD for us and the other connecting passengers.
Flight was delayed by two hours. This really messed things up because I missed my connecting flight in Addis. I had a meeting in Entebbe which was scrapped because my flight from Addis landed later in the day.

Unfortunately, the level of service provided fell significantly short of the standards I expected from your airline. I would like to highlight the following serious issues encountered during the journey: • Cabin Condition and Hygiene: The aircraft cabin was notably poorly maintained. The seating area was dirty, and there was a persistent, unpleasant odor throughout the flight, which made the environment very uncomfortable for passengers. • Inadequate Service: The overall level of service provided by the staff was unsatisfactory and did not reflect a professional passenger experience. • Baggage Loss: Upon arrival, I was informed that my luggage was lost. This is particularly distressing as it has caused significant personal inconvenience and disruption to my schedule. As a frequent traveler, I value reliability and a clean cabin environment. I request that you investigate these matters immediately, provide an update on the status of my missing baggage, and outline how you intend to compensate for these failures in service. The crew was not helping us in the airports ..Very bad experience..the washrooms are not meeting the expectations..need more good service... The hotel service was good but there is a very long wait time which wasted time to go through..
POSITIVES The hostesses were mostly pleasant, NEGATIVES The full flight wifi was horrible, hardly able to use it. My charger port was not working which made me use my neighbour's port which resulted in an accident which ruined her flight. During dinner, meat ran out when the cart got to us forcing us to eat vegetarian which was not great. We watched everyone around us eating meat. My wifi did not transfer to the second leg of my trip as they promised as they changed the plane. I was thrown off the window seat I booked for the 2nd leg of my journey as they changed planes, all done at my expense. This was not a cheap flight ($2600) which i hurriedly had to book to attend my mother's funeral who passed away suddenly. I was honestly disappointed with the whole saga as I heard Ethiopian Airlines was one of Africa's best.
worst was delayed luggage. could see luggage was still in Singapore but they insist I wait till all luggage are unloaded before filing a report. took 2 days to arrive and I had to collect it myself from the airport
Customer service and the food was great. If the announcements in English could be said slower for the customer to understand what is being said. Due to ascent, it is difficult to understand. repaeting would help.
I was a good, but long trip. The airline did a good job. I would use them again.
Not having to pay to sit together. Seat cushions were worn out and breaking down sitting on metal framing, knees jammed against seat in front of me. Not a comfortable flight.
Very disappointed with cancellation, then rebooking with booked friends bumped off & then a delay of over 6 hours!! Totally disappointing & all the anxiety it caused was unacceptable. $15 food voucher to compensate is a joke!
Delays after delays only to announce we don't know how long it will take
We were reluctant to travel with Air Canada after reading many bad reviews; however, we were more than satisfied with the experience flying from San Francisco to Montreal and back. Seats were comfortable (although on the return flight we had very little leg room) and the crew was friendly and competent. The entertainment was outstanding, with hundreds of choices, from movies to shows to comedy. Our luggage was delivered in a timely manner (a little slow in San Francisco) and we were sent tracking notices all along the way through the Air Canada app. I wouldn't hesitate to travel with Air Canada again.
The usb ports to charge phones laptops did not work.
Staff never asked passengers to bring their seat backs forward during landing. Was hoping to get a little relief from the passenger in front of me (I have long legs that I cannot stow in the overhead). Otherwise the flight was very pleasant.
As always, Air Canada flight was delayed for almost more than an hour, which made my time of my flight 15 hours which was absolutely unacceptable.
Everything was excellent except the breakfast was cheap yogurt and cake ????

Plane was late. Too many announcements during the flight. Made me pay that deposit. Uncomfortable seats.
In business on the top-deck of an overnight transatlantic flight. A family with uncontrolled young children were there too. All night they were running around up and down the walkway while squealing . . .
Boarding was weird. They boarded two flights at the same gate at the same time. So mass confusion for the non English/French speakers. So many people at such a small gate. Like every other part of this airport you have to walk miles between everything. Gate to plane was a 5 min walk :) several long flights so I was worried about my steps but ended up walking several miles here so worked out.
I never got to Lufthansa because of Air Canadas negligence.
The flight got delayed 3 hours from Montreal and we missed our connecting flight so it was a long journey
The service and food was excellent. The remote control for entertainment did not function properly.
All was good, except my USB charging did not work, so my phone got drained and I could not charge it. Same happened to my neighbour.
A bit more space? Not practical, I know. I felt squished in but part of that could have been the man sitting next to me.
The plane (Mitsubishi CRJ) felt old, creaking and not very new. The crew was okay. Hot water provision was broken so hot beverages could't be served.
Not bad. We had preboarding tickets but the preboarding was badly managed. We lined up behind all the parents with little kids etc and when we got to the front of the line the attendant deliberately turned away from us and ignored us until I asked to be allowed to go to the gate. She started telling us that we had to wait until I told her we had preboarding then she let us through.
Everything well done and customer oriented There entertainment system is difficult to navigate
