Pros: "The crew was very professional and helpful. If you travel Business Class it is very pleasant. But if you are traveling Economy the boarding management and economy seats suck! Many people were complaining about how narrow the economy seats are on the A320/330 aircraft."
Cons: "Swiss has finally done it! If you are a person who is large framed, around 225 lbs or higher you will not fit into their economy seats. I'm quite athletic and not obese but large framed (ex- football player), I could not sit squarely in the seat as my hips were severely pinched. Misery :("
Pros: "vegan sweeties for the kids, so nice as my daughter usually has to say no. Also swiss chocolate - so good! Our veggie meals booked hadn't gone through on the system but we were found some they had anyway - wasn't very nice though."

I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test.

Cons: "The flight left two hours late. Apparently this happens a lot with this flight these days because it's an Airbus 380 coming from Paris to Dulles and turning around. The incoming flight was two hours late, so the departure was late. Our arrival in Paris was late. We made the flight, but our luggage didn't. Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)"

The seats didn't recline, and there was no window - because we were right next to one of the engines. I will use Kayak to price compare on future flights, but I will not book through Kayak. Not sure if this is just a coincidence - but it only happens when booking here."

Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

We did not accept the conditions offered to us as one wheel chair operator had to push 3 passengers and I had to wait for him to return to me after two people were brought to their gates. I have one comment for this trip, sardine, pandemic and everything, and plane was maxed. It was horrible. Staff was great but, this was horrible.

A 10 hour flight turned into 14 hours but I still enjoyed it. There was plenty of leg room and the seats were very comfortable. The entertainment was very enjoyable and the meals were satisfying. For such a long haul Lufthansa made the time flyby."

So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. Cons: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."

On top of that they forgot to add the tags for Rome on our luggage so they got stuck in a connecting flight in Chicago. When we asked the supervisor to tell the people in luggage claim to forward our luggage to Rome when we were in Chicago (because of course the connecting flight only gave us 40 minutes to get to our flight to Rome so we didn't have enoughtrime to check our bags a second time), he said no. What would it have killed the guy to make a simple phone call? The alternative was to wait a day or two to see if maybe we could catch another flight to Rome with our luggage. I've never made a complaint before and I've never really made review because I don't it really accomplishes anything and I'm sure the idiots at American Airlines will never see or care about this, but I was extremely disappointed. They didn't get any empathy from your employees not even an im sorry, and I get that this job is hard but I have the same job too and I suck it up and still try to empathize with my customers. Oh well... it is what it is. The Airlines can do whatever they want."
