The crew was friendly and attentive. Excellent food: sandwich and warm cookie handed out on a 2.5hour flight! Would definitely fly Air North again.
We left a half hour late and there was no food or snacks offered-,not even the crappy pretzels. The flight itself was smooth tho and the crew was nice.
Lots of leg room, no fee for seat selection at check in, good food service and punctuality
My row seemed to have more leg room and I didn't pay extra for it. Air North offers a meal at no extra cost. There was no entertainment available, but that wasn't an issue as most people have options on their phones. The crew was friendly. Air North offers air travel the way it used to be and that is a welcome and pleasant surprise.
Air North is one of the easiest airlines to fly with. Lots of room and great service. Always provide you food.
My interaction with air north was great, Their customer servicr was easy to get a hold.of, Managed to speak with a person, they were very polite and helpful, However I messed up the date with the ticket purchase, Since I used a third party I could not change the date. And trying to contact Kayak and the other third party was a nightmarez So I am unlikely to use a third party again.
Customer server was excellent. The flight was extremely affordable, and my seat was both comfortable and spacious.
Terrible customer service - no interest in being helpful, limited service hours, unwilling to transfer checked baggage of provide advice. Not recommended.
Supposed to fly out at 10am to Kelowna….got delayed until 1:40 and missed an important meeting. I ended up having g to stay over. Should have just driven.
Service was great from start to finish. Pleasant attendants, timely luggage to carousels.
Plane was one hour late. Hardly any space for our carry-ons. Stressful to catch connections.
The agent denied our cat from boarding just because the carrier has to be slightly shorter to go under the seat. It is a soft sided carrier and WestJet had mentioned that soft sided carriers can be squished to go under the seat. So we had to transport the cat via road to YYC. In Yyc the connection flight terminal supervisor of WestJet was surprised about the edmonton agent decision as she said the size of bag should be 11in indeed so that cat can move freely even if the bag has to be slightly adjusted to go under the seat. Avoid WestJet - they are a dying organization with incompetent staff!!!... No guarantee the flight is maintained since the crew went on strike. Very unsafe and unpredictable business, a cancerous corn in the hands of Canadian business !!
Terrible. Passengers were loud and stewardess did nothing about it. They didn't show us the safety precautions like how they were suppose to, in the beginning before taking off.
For some reason there was a change in the cockpit which delayed us by an hour
No major issues with WestJet. Unfortunately, on the segment YYC to IAH the entertainment system was down.
Comfortable seats compared to others airlines. Good meal. Nice staff. Cheaper than other longer flights with other airlines.
We barely arrived in Calgary in time for our connection to Rome. The flight was delayed, and we made it with five minutes to spare.
The nutritional basis for having the vegetarian pasta, served with potato salad, a bun and a pastry in the same meal is incredibly carb heavy and unhealthy. Fruits and green vegetables?
Pre-boarding was very good. Easy to do. Flights were all good and on time.

The TV screen at my seat was not functioning for the entire duration of the flight. I informed a flight attendant about the issue, and I was told that I would receive a voucher as compensation. However, I never received this voucher afterward. I therefore kindly request to still receive the voucher that was promised to me.
Our original flight was cancelled due to mechanical reasons. This cancellation caused us to miss our connection and we were not able to get another flight for 3 days and then needed to make an extra connection to get there. Air Canada did not rebook our flight for us, it took several hours of talking with staff in the airport and making phone calls to get the flights rebooked. We never received a voucher for our hotel and meals while we were waiting for our next flight and it was only after talking to several staff that we were provided some general information about how we could be reimbursed. We tried entering our ticket information in the website provided, but it did not recognize our flight information. When we asked someone on the phone about this they said we'd need to contact the customer relations department, but that it's not possible to reach them on the phone. I don't understand what company would have a customer relations department that you can't talk to. We spent about $1,000 for hotels and meals for our family while waiting for a flight home and I'm not confident we will ever get reimbursed for this. I understand that mechanical issues can happen to any airline, but this is the 4th time that this has happened to my wife and I on Air Canada and we have only flown Air Canada about 8 times, so this is not a good track record. Also, when we did finally get a flight home (which was also delayed due to mechanical problems), we were told we couldn't bring a standard carry on even though the information on our ticket clearly indicated that we could bring a carry on bag. The staff at the gate were not understanding about this situation.

Not having to pay for seats for 53 minute flight when continuing on the Calgary United didn't charge for seats to Chicago or the fort Lauderdale
Look this rating had nothing to do with the staffing on personal level they interacted professionally and with a friendly demeanor. However they canceled my first flight with short notice . Went from 7 hour trip to 13 hours . Then the boarding lady insisted that I check my carry on because it was a very small plane , I did check it , they lost it. Now with a carry on one puts all his stuff in , meds, expensive waterfowl calls and stika gear I hope when they find it all my stuff is there. Kayak you need to ask about entire experience not just the flight.
