Check in was a nightmare. Waited in line fir two hours. Check in earlier did not made any difference. Had to stand in line and go though the the process.
Pros: "Arrived & check in @ 6 am waited on the gate they put on my ticket we were told that the plane was delayed, ok fine no problem it happens all the time. the plane departed from another gate. We were to far way from the gate to hear They never page me over head They Only page by the gate with was impossible to hear due to the Airport over paging all other depar flights. Went the time was to long and No Calls I went and ask a personnel at that time I got a phone call from the Airport personnel also telling me that my suitcase was down in the band. To find out the I have lost the plane. I went and talk to management after a few minutes of conversation nothing happen I have lost my plane my money . I am very frustrated sad because it was not a plesiosaur trip My mother was sick and I needed to see her take her to the Doctor. Had to borrow money from a family member to continue my trip. On my way back I try to check And I was Unable to do so. I arrived to the Airport to find OUT that they cancel my way back too!!!!!! I had to borrow money Again!!!! And stay in the Airport for 8 hrs! This was my experience my lost money time family worried about me and my sister.I had No signal in my phone due to the poor Cituation of this country went I'm able to check my fly with you KAYAK notice the right gate number and time went the plane was living. The attitude of management from Aeromexico was so rude And disrespectful. I will never use them again."

My husband does not have a visa he has he’s resident card but there was no option for me to select besides visa. once i arrived i was told I would have to be on standby since I did not check in ... I told the air flight assistant I was unable to do so because when I would input my husbands information who is currently a resident there was no option.. she said some airlines don’t let you check in online because they have restricted online procedures... I paid for my ticket which means I paid for my seat... I always travel with Aeroméxico for the reason as I love the customer care We receive and never have issues and I was pretty confused as to why I encountered this situation... I would really appreciate that Aeroméxicos online process works for both citizens and residents to make it easier on everyone.. but i also want to thank the staff because even though I was given bad news and awaiting to see if I would fly back on time as a stand by, they were able to get me back to my home without me missing work...I can’t enforce enough to please look into into you’re online check in to make it fair for all boarders to check in ... thank you"

When we checked our bags, we were told to hurry as our flight was boarding. We rushed through the airport to get in line to board the plane. When we got to the line to board the plane, we waited another hour before we were told to get on a bus to take us to our plane. Our plan left 45 minutes later than expected, but the airport never communicated any details about a delay. We rushed to wait in line instead of having time to get things at the airport or sit."

Cons: "Probably one of the most tedious flights of my life. Unexplained delays while sitting on the tarmac and not allowed to get up to go the bathroom because “we could be leaving any minute”. Repeated indications that we were cleared to move, and then no movement for another 15 minutes before assuring us they were cleared to move. Everything about this airline, from check-in to boarding to taxiing to deplaning to baggage claim felt like it took 60-80% longer than it had to, with no real customer service to be found. This is an airline that does nothing more than provide passengers with a way of getting from point A to point B, eventually; getting there on time, or in comfort, was clearly a luxury their airline was not positioned to deliver. First and last time flying Aeromexico, especially with Internet, Volaris, and other carriers plowing the same routes."
Pros: "Overall, Aeromexico staff in the airport were kind and friendly. Flight crew members were friendly, attentive and presentable. I appreciate the fact that Aeromexico still provides food and refreshments."
Cons: "Flight was delayed by approximately 30 to 40 minutes. However, I appreciate that staff kept us informed and updated on flight status. Since I hadn't reserved a seat, I got seated near the emergency exit. On a positive note, it's more spacious hence more leg room. However, you're not allowed to keep any items with you in case of an emergency during take off and landing. It seems that there was some type of entertainment on the TV screens but noticed they were on for less than 40 minutes and then they went blank for the remainder of the flight . I'm not sure if other passengers were offered headphones but I was not."

But the airline took care of us with vouchers for food, hotel and taxis. The crisis was handled really well. It was just miserable because we only got two hours sleep. I am glad this was just a once in a lifetime crisis and inconvenience. Maybe it was caused by Boeing who made the plane."

Yearly my church flys with Aeromexico to Mexico and I've never had a problem but this year I felt very targeted . As I was checking in they told me that my luggage was 2 pounds over the weight they direct us to have it so the employee told us to go and take some items out , we moved from the line and he 'shooed' us away saying "no go all the way back" we did and when we tried to go back to check in another employee cut me off from going in line and told us she didn't care for what I had to say and to return to the back of the line. At this point I was already worked up from their behavior and my mother whom was traveling with me tried to calm me down. As we get to the from of the line the SAME guy who 'shooed' us had a customer who had an over weight luggage , BUT let him take out item right there and then with his luggage on the scale . Well my mother got upset because we didn't know what it consisted of to have that privilege. We get attended by the employee who cut me off and my luggage was still 1 pound over the weight limit and she instructed us to get out and take items out , we expressed to her that it wasn't fair how other people who were flying got the advantage of just doing it there and we asked why . She denied ever doing that and said to go with the employee who did that because she refused to attend us . We asked another employee if we could speak to a supervisor and we were being persisted but she would ignore us and walk away from us . We couldn't believe how badly they were treating us. So we then went on to go with the employee who 'shooed' my mother and I and asked him why did he give special privileges to other people flying and was discriminated us , he literally told us "what discrimination? You guys need to relax. What do you want? Do you want me to attend you or what? I have other people waiting" he checked us in and NEVER saw or spoke to a supervisor . We will def never be flying with them again ."

Aeromexico flights were the only ones being delayed for long periods of time."
Cons: "I was very unsatisfied with my Aeromexico trip because I missed my connection in Mexico City, and instead of getting rebooked on another flight, I had to buy an entire new ticket. My original ticket was $140 and my new ticket to get home was $350. I have never flown on an airline that makes the passenger buy a new ticket when a connection is missed. I was in the Mexico City airport and only missed my connection by 10 minutes. Very disappointed with Aeromexico. I will be emailing the airline customer service separately too."

Cons: "The front desk crew at Guadalajara change me to an earlier flight without me having a say, this flight was delayed and took of later than my original flight. Several customers did not make their connections on time and the crew at the gate were really rude. The worst part is that the reason for the delay was that one flight attendant was running late. I do not know if it is the airline or is the Guadalajara airport but is the 3rd time in a row that I have Issues in there and noone ever says anything."
Pros: "We made each of our flights only by the will of the Aeromexico crew and they were extremely friendly."
Cons: "Both flights were delayed, neither due to weather. It made transferring to our next flights feel like absolute chaos, where even the people were scrambling. The plane for the longer flight (SFO - CUN) was a visibly older plan and the seats felt like sitting on concrete. Also, it didn't notify me while booking that the seats in front of the exit row didn't recline (or I missed it somehow), and the seats didn't just not recline - they actually leaned forward a bit! The seats themselves were VERY tightly packed - likely the tightest I've ever been in."

Furthermore, every seat has entertainment system with free movies, TV shows and trip information. The seats are very comfortable with enough space and the planes look new and clean."
Cons: "The crew was so unpolite they did not let me board because apparently i was late and instead of helping me connect with another flight they told me they could not do anything...the crew at the checking was so rude...i missed my flight I will never use this airline again Delta was much better"

Lots of turbulence on this flight, which limited beverage service. Despite the length of the flight, there was only one beverage service, and the "snack" they handed out was a single packet of Biscoff cookies. It was a newer plane with outlets for plugging in devices and a shelf for placing a cell phone to view -- all that was great. The free entertainment was also great and much appreciated, as my husband had finished his book and needed something to amuse himself during the long trip. But if the airlines could just give us passengers a bit more seat space, it would improve things immensely; the guy next to me was well over 6-feet tall, and he couldn't help but extend his knees into my space.

The plane was tiny, so again- no way to distance at all. Seats at the front were left unoccupied rather than allowing others to move to them for social distancing."
Pros: "The crew was fine and was thankful they found a way to get back to Detroit (but, it required a stop in Dallas and an overnight in Chicago)"

I saw no sanitizing on any of the three flights I had to take to get to Detroit. of the four airports only the one in Guadalajara asked any health questions and could be seen sanitizing the waiting room and eliminating seats to keep spacing."

Flew with a 1st class upgrade to DFW and upon missing the connection to DSM (imputable to AA) I would have expected AA to have me await my later conection (3 hrs AA 2488) in the Admiral’s club especially after having paid for the upgrade. Instead, the bozo at the Admiral’s Club entrance in Terminal A A23 indicated that only Mexico City passengers were allowed into the Club even if as a GDL passenger I had a 1st class boarding pass. Poor and misguided management of the moment of truth on behalf of your employee with a 1 Million Miler customer. My experience recently with Delta and United has been with more open minded, customer centric and better trained airline staff. Disappointing and hope someone will read this and let me know that my note was heard. What is next?"

Cons: "This is not Iberia's fault but AA - when we all got to the departure lounge (not check in) in Manchester we were informed there was to be a stop at Gander, Newfoundland, to refuel. Then I realized AA had put a Boeing 757 on flight AA55 instead of the usual 767 and it doesn't have enough fuel for the westbound flight against prevailing headwinds. When I got home AA had sent me 2 emails - 1 advising me of a delay on my AA55 flight MAN-YQX (Gander), despite the fact that the schedule calls for a flight MAN-ORD. The 2nd rebooking me on a later AA flight from ORD-SGF. AA are guilty of deception here and their sleight of hand caused me 4 hours delay arriving at SGF and a night in a hotel instead of driving home."

Second, the attendant at the gate took my carry-on down because she thought it was too big. I have this bag for years and I travel with it everywhere with me. Then, I could not find my carry-on in Lima and hell started. I asked one guy that had an orange apron and was helping with the bags. I told him that I did not see my carry on. He sent me to American lost baggage upstairs. I had to wait 40 minutes for the office to open. Then the woman working there was very unprofessional and rude and told me that I should have made a claim at the counter in the baggage claim area. Well, there are no signs that indicate that there is a counter where to claim your lost bags, you have to just be clarivident and know according to LATAN personnel. They found my bag and call us around 3:45PM, when they close at 5PM. Well getting to the airport before 5pm was a Mission Impossible action movie. Try getting to the airport in Lima during rush hour...finally, I got there on time to get my bag, had another encounter with another personnel that, again, attempted to blame it on me instead of doing her job efficiently and with a smile on her face...What is wrong with airlines personnel???"
