At Gongzhau, kids are hungry in transit, tried to buy food, told they only take Yuan. there was no ATM in transit. had to exchange Yuan and thats the only option there if you want to buy something. This meant we had to fly at 12,000 feet the whole time so it took longer, no luggage was brought on the plane, and passengers had to be moved around to redistribute weight, but we were never really told why or what was going on in terms of how it all worked which was quite scary. I'd say close to half the passengers actually got off the plane because they didn't feel safe flying. We got in over 4 hours later than anticipated with 0 luggage. Overall the flight was very scary and now we have no luggage. Had the option of having out luggage delivered the next day or a $100 travel credit. No credit or any compensation if the luggage was delivered."

After my arriving flight got in 2 hours late and sat on the runway for 45 minutes because there was too many planes in the way for my plane to get to the gate I was not in the mood to run across the airport to go through customs and then through security (for the second time). However in order to make it onto this final flight that's exactly what I had to do. I also might add that it is incredibly stupid that connecting flights have to go through security again after deplaning, it's not like we're suddenly going to have weapons or anything so why waste that time? After I sprinted across the airport and got onto the plane the pilot announced that we were waiting to hear from the airport to take off. Long story short the poor pilot was trying to figure out what was going on but no one was even answering his calls. Eventually he realized that the plane hadn't been refueled and had to get a hole of them to refuel. At one point he must have gotten really frustrated because he left the plane in search of answers as the Toronto airport wasn't giving him any. Eventually after 2 hours of sitting on the plane we refueled and took off. On top of that my travel partner didn't get her luggage, we assumed that the Toronto airport lost it somewhere or something. Overall a complete nightmare."

As my patience ran out i went up to the counter and tried to just get my bags checked so we can be on our way to our gate and of course i get the answer that i have to wait because i still have enough time (our flight was leaving in 40 minutes). then they brought a supervisor over to tell me the same thing- there was absolutely no help. By the time we were able to go on to our gate we had exactly 20 mins until our flight left. Very unacceptable. It looked like it was everyone’s first day at work and no one knew what they were doing. we fly delta all the time and i know Aeromexico now works with delta but they need a lot more training on what customer service is all about"

After I waited in line to check in and the agent confirmed my reservation, I was sent across the concourse to a separate Aeromexico office to pay for my bag, rather than simply paying at the check in desk. I was lucky I had the extra time to make it to the gate to catch my flight."

The lack of communication in English added to the frustration. This was our first and definitely only time we travel with Aeromexico!"

Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. We were sitting at the original gate for 2 hours only to realize they never called us to board. By the time we got to the correct gate, we were not allowed to board the plane because they said we were late. The plane left at 5:00 p.m and we arrived at the gate at 4:50 p.m. They informed us that we had to purchase new tickets which cost $370 per person. There were 4 of us. After arguing with the Aeromexico representatives and supervisor for over 5 hours and having them check their flight boards they admitted to making the mistake so they changed our flights without charging us, but now our flight leaves the next day at 6:20 a.m. and we will not get to our final destination until 4:15 p.m. So, we have to spend our night sleeping in the airport until our morning flight at no fault of our own. Their customer service is the worse and I've never ever had this kind of travel experience with any other flight. I am fed up, tired, and will be reporting this airline for fraud because many other customers have had the same experience. Never again will I travel with Aeromexico and Kayak should be ashamed to partner with this airline."

We were delayed for 4 hours and no one was giving any explanation why until I finally called. AA wasn’t updating the time on the board. The handling of boarding people was messy. Everyone coming in and taking forever to load their carry on. Just overall bad experience

Cons: "Without any explanation...American Airlines cancelled my reservation! I needed to be sent back to poor quality hotel for a night and take a different flight out the next morning. American Airlines was supposed to provide transportation back and forth from the hotel however a car never showed up at the hotel to pick us up and I needed to get my own taxi at the last minute (American did however reimburse me for the taxi fare at the airport). I never received an explanation as to why my reservation was cancelled and was never offered any type of compensation for such a major inconvenience. They dd ultimately waive my 25 bag fee but it wasn't very easy to even get that from them. I felt that they should have been more empathetic towards my inconvenience and offered me any type of compensation to make up for such a horrible experience. When I asked about possibly being upgraded to first class they told me absolutely not! A little graciousness can go a long way, American Airlines showed that they could not care less about my inconvenience (other than Rodrigo at the counter the next morning who actually showed he was truly sorry for the situation and at least ended up moving me to a row with more legroom). Other than this, I was extremely disappointed with this experience and how it was handled."

Cons: "When first boarding the plane, the person I was with tried to close the shade on the window, the with frame and the first 2 pieces of glass popped out. We notified the flight attendant and his response was "can you stick your arm out the window and wave? No... ok you're fine" then we were notified the bathrooms in the middle of the plane were out of order and we could only use the bathrooms at the rear of the plane. There was no WiFi, and the audio system for the on board movies wasn't working. The flight attendants were only giving out cups of beverages and not the full can, which isnt a big deal but still looks bad on the airline considering everywhere flight with American has handed out full cans of soda. The perception was American dropped the ball on the his plane, and just didn't care to do the necessary maintenance. For the his head priced paid for the his hehe see tickets I would've expected better from a reputable airline. Needless to say we were a little disappointed."

Wendell/Gate Agent said he couldn't rebook my flight until the 31st, but when I got home I called air Canada and she was able to rebook me on the 30th with no issues. Nonsense. Wendell didn't care, he was tired, yawned in our faces like it was acceptable. Awful service. I'm flying with Air Canada on my way from India in the next couple of weeks I hope I get better service. Otherwise, completion will be my only option."

Our flight got in at 1am and because a family member needs assistance we were told to wait by some parked golf carts and someone would be right over to assist, we waited as we saw all passengers walk by and flight crew and no one showed. Then decided to slowly start walking and after awhile an angel of the airport staff, I wish I got her name to thank her saw our struggling through and quickly ran to grab a wheelchair and assisted us right to our shuttle service.These are the things that make airport service more pleasant, for such a state of the art airport the experience for passengers should run a little smoother and assistance to those that need it should be readily available. Slightly better than Turkish airline's which isn't an achievement by any means. Old aircrafts which don't have air vents.
