I was offered a selection of drinks and given a free snack. The flight was only a couple of hours, but we were trreated better than the transatlantic flight.
The flight was very late departing the gate, for unknown reasons.
Alaska Airlines cancelled my flight the night before and then waited hours to let me know that they rebooked me on a flight 2 days later
The flight got delayed for some unknown reason to us. Then, after boarding, we stayed grounded for almost an hour without any explanation or announcement. Then, finally lifted off. When we landed and made our way to baggage claim. The luggage took 30 minutes to come! It was past midnight due to the flight being delayed and my litter children were cranky and tired! It was not a great experience. Perhaps, more explanation of what is going on with the flight would be helpful!
Our flught was rerouted to another airport 60 minutes from our destination. We were told we would get Lyft vouchers to get us to our original destination. We did get vouchers, but when we arrived at the rerouted airport, we realized the vouchers were for a Lyft ride from the starting airport to our original destination. We were lead to believe that once we arrived at the rerouted airport, we could use the voucher from there. Nope. So we got stuck with a $100, 1-hour Uber ride. The flight staff was annoying. We were seated near the rear, and for the entire flight, both attendants were gossiping about some drama on Facebook. And they weren't being quiet about it. The back dozen rows or so could easily hear their entire conversation. I've flown Alaska Airlines many times before and have never had problems. This was an awful experience.

I was very surprised that at the Seattle airport, Alaska's main hub, that the gates were very small and very close together, and it was very hard to discourage between my flight, and the flight next to us going to Boise and the flight next to that going to Denver. Denver. The audio for all three Gates was at the same level, and almost impossible to differentiate unless they actually said their flight number and location. Location. People tried to get on our plane, before they were ready, because they were confused about the Denver announcements. We were on a Boeing 737- 800 00, that must have recently been redone. It actually had USB--c ports which really surprised me. The Apu was out on the plane, so when we got on it was very very hot. A lot of people were complaining. The gate agents were very professional, but it was a lot going on and even though there were two of them, I think they could have used another person to help them. Mandy was particularly helpful in getting me a window seat. Flight crew was up to the usual Alaska airline standard, which is very high. Can we please get another snack then garlic pretzels? It would also be nice, if they knew ahead that the flight was full, to offer to let us check in our bags for free at baggage check, and not at the gate!
Very terrible/ never will I fly this airline again. Poor service in the plane. They cancelled a flight without booking another. All the way around it was too awful.
Terrible experience with an extremely obese passenger seated directly behind me - who snored and gagged so loudly, even throughout takeoff, that no one within ten rows could have gotten any rest even with earplugs! I get that this poor person has a serious health issue, and that Alaska (maybe) had no way to prepare in advance (though he did occupy two seats). Still there must be a way to take a six-hour flight without feeling like I'm next to a roaring grizzly bear.
Gate personnel and flight crew were both very good. No problems other than the previous flight being late.
Decent entertainment although my wife was not offered any ear buds so couldn’t enjoy. Real issue was the appalling food. Presentation was unacceptable with cheap hard to open packaged bread, plastic cheese again in hard to open shrink wrap, main course in small cardboard box again hard to open, wooden utensils which lack substance making the whole experience poor. Surprised I didn’t cover myself or neighbour as the food moved all over the place. Breakfast calzone was dry and unappealing with the staff basically throwing them around. Very disappointed
The agents at the Kelowna YLW airport were really grumpy. Same with oversized baggage person. Staff on the plane were great.
I didn't think about not having the right app for wifi because my connecting flight was with Westjet and when I took off from Seattle I was thinking I would use my wifi, but realized I couldn't on my Westjet app and I did not have Delta's app downloaded.
Very short flight. No food or entertainment required. Nice crew. Flight left late.
Good, a bit cramped in the seat as my neighbour was a bit large
The staff at the airport and on the plane were wonderful I especially wanna acknowledge the staff who boarded us at the Calgary airport. The women who helped us board at the airport were incredible… they were so kind and sweet…I very happy with WestJet and I am hoping I can fly more often to Canada.
Lost my luggage. Filed a report and there is no response. Received a phone call from another airline that said they had the bag and they did not know what to do with it
Seat barely reclined. Boarding took forever. Flight attendants were not very friendly
I always worry about flying budget airlines but I was impressed by Westjet. The checkin agent was terrific. Seated my husband & me together w/o us asking. TSA checkin was smooth & easy. Plane was clean & comfortable. Drink & snack was unexpected. I will fly with them again.
Plane had a flat tire, delayed boarding and takeoff but one in the air, smooth. Make sure you have downloaded the WJ app before you leave. When on board, you can watch movies or TV shows offered on the app, it passed the time very quickly.
I suppose to board the plane AC5110 to San Francisco on July 16 2026 @07:00 am and arrive San Francisco at 09:25 am. At 9:30am still in YVR I was told the plane was delayed until 11:30 am to take off. Not until 11:35am the pilot of the plane declared that due to hydraulic system problem this plane was cancelled. After waited in a long pile up for negotiating with the counter-staff, I finally got the tickets for myself and my wife Yim Mei KONG firstly to Seattle and then transferred to San Francisco on the plane AS 2014 & AS 791 with Alaska Airlines. I suppose to attend the funeral of our friend in San Francisco on July 18 and a Memorial Gathering for the Birthday of the deceased on July 16, 2026. I arrived San Francisco at 9:40 pm that day (12 hours later) and couldn't joint the Memorial Gathering. This upset me a lot. I am seeking for compensation of this failing trip. Please let me know how to and where to forward my complaint.

The plane was delayed an hour. Heard from other passengers that the Vancouver connection to SFO was never on-time.

Flying Air Canada was pleasant and enjoyable. The United portion was lacking.
Flight was delayed and still they didn't manage to transfer my bag to the flight. The onboard staff was quick to show desperation and frustration with the not-so-easy passengers.
