The flight crew i found to be very rude with and had an attitude. The biggest shock was the greetings and all announcements were in English accept the safety rules where the pre-recorded tape was played. If asked about the return flight from Halifax to Montreal, one word to describe it "disaster". I was totally turned off with WestJet. I will for sure continue using Porter as I was always pleased with there service. As they say "you get what you pay for"."

PA system was a little hard to understand anyway. Crew member should have put volume up and made sure was loud enough , but just seemed like wanted to use a 'cute' half french/half english accent to speak in. 3. Also this flight 3535 on Dec 21 Mtl- Toronto made me nervous although I fly often. Most nervous I have been because pilot took time to gain altitude after take off, and when landing had to accelerate then decelerate a number of times. Landing was (with 2 km/hr winds i.e. not much wind) almost on one wheel. 4. Food does not have to be so cheap e.g. sweet snack bar? Please bring back an assortment of nuts as they are at least nutritious. Thank you for reading."

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Cons: "After being delayed and missing our layover, we were directed to the "help" desk, where no one was working. A group of us finally found our way to the actually information center and were frustrated to hear that we were expected to stay overnight and leave for Paris in the morning when there was an available flight to Paris that afternoon. I explained to the attendant that despite her claims, the flight was not full (as I could purchase it on Google Flights) and she rudely told me that if I wanted to be on it that bad, I could pay for it myself. Unfortunately, that is what I had to do. Thankfully, I was able to get to Paris that evening, but it was most certainly not due to accommodating customer service. To say I am disappointed is a tremendous understatement and as mentioned before, I am an experienced and regular traveler, but I will most likely never fly Icelandair after this."

What they sold as food on the airplane was pathetic. And the prices for the awful food at the airport in Reykjavik were outrageous and they were not even posted, so until you went to pay you didn't know that those two pieces of stale bread with a thin slice of ham cost more than $12. Things like these leave one with a very bad aftertaste. Not worth it."

As a result, it took 90 minutes to board the plane, and an additional 70 minutes after boarding to get a runway to take off. We made up some time in the air so we were only an hour late, but it seemed avoidable if the airport would be more realistic about its capacity."

If the original flight didn't have a delay of 1.5 hours things would have been smooth. Every flight from Icelandair was late and they don't give you an update as to why. The crew told some white lies to make us believe we wouldn't have a problem making our connection."

Cons: "We boarded the airline and actually got airborne for about 15 minutes before we were told by the captain that there were "technical problems" and would be force to return to (KEF) the original airport. Once there, we were told that we needed to exit and board another aircraft, which would depart in about 2 hours (all told the delay was around 3 hours total). In the meantime, the airline gave us food vouchers for the food court to compensate for our inconvenience. The only problem was, we weren't hungry, that wasn't what worried us... what worried us was that our Airfrance connecting flight to Florence, at the following airport (CDG Paris), departed about 15 minutes before our ( new) arrival time. We told this problem to icelandair staff at Reykjavik airport, there was no attempt by them to help alleviate our problem, they merely told us that we would have to talk to Airfrance about this problem as our Airfrance ticket wasn't booked on the same itinerary, and so it appeared that we were on our own. We passed the two hour layover relentlessly attempting to contact Airfrance to inform them of our status, hoping we could get re-booked on a later flight.... And so we arrived in Paris late, as expected, and learned that, not only did we miss our departing flight to Florence, without refund or a new flight booked, but we also forfeited our RETURN flight to Paris, not set to depart for THREE WEEKS. Stuck in Paris without a flight, now 16 hours after our journey began, extremely tired, angry, confused...we then had to book another round trip ticket from Paris, costing us an additional $900 USD! Although my anger and sense of injustice is largely aimed at Airfrance (because they still cancelled our return flight even though we contacted them numerous times to inform them of our dilemma), it would have been reasonable for icelandair to have worked with us and perhaps put us on a different flight, perhaps to Rome?, instead of dismissing us so thoughtlessly, because, after all, it was the icelandair flight that was delayed 3 hours and caused the problem in the first place. Right?"

And I loved that I was warned ahead of time so that I was not surprised at the slight inconvenience (which wasn't much of an inconvenience at all). There was a delay in NYC, so to take the connection in Miami I had to run across the airport. Then the flight delayed in Miami, and the schedule in GRU - São Paulo was too tight, so I missed the flight to Porto Alegre. When coming from international flights, the connection time needs to be more spaced because of immigration bureaucracy.

And the gate check in had an absurdly small number of kiosks and no one to help the confused passengers. Boarding was done on time and they kept the door open for 20 minutes after take off time with no announced reason for the delay."
