We all later got an email saying we'd receive a discount on future travel because the airline deemed the delay "preventable." We got a second plane quickly, on the second boarding process the gate agent failed to do preboarding. I'm on crutches at the moment, so this meant more time on my feet manoeuvring around "elite status members" than I would have liked."

You should notice me if I need the visa or not when I booked this flight. Because of this, I should change the flight which took extra charge. Moreover, I lost my baggage between this situation."

Then Alaska Airline employees put he tags on everyone's suitcase like carryon to be put under the plane FREE OF CHARGE and they were delivered to them at the door of the airplane when departing! If I'd not been a conscientious rule follower, I could have saved myself 25 bucks and gotten better luggage service. It was also extremely frustrating that even if checked in online the day before, Alaska Airlines system promptly told me that after I completed the online check in process I would be able to choose my seat assignment. NOPE!!!!! THEY WOULDN'T LET ME GET S SEAT ASSIGNMENT UNTIL I GOT TO THE DEPARTURE GATES AND HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR BEFORE ATTENDANTS EVEN SHOWED UP AT THE GATE DESK!!"

Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Pros: "I trusted Delta to take of my clients; Delta usually did. Rather, the employees of Delta did. Now when I travel, I prefer Delta (when they aren't too much more economically). Let me change that to I used to prefer Delta, because the times, they are achanging. My home airport is Atlanta, I'm usually traveling to Seattle or Portland; Delta is king in those routes. There's more flight time options, and the entertainment available is better."
Cons: "Here's where the picky comes in. I downloaded the 'Go Go" wifi app beforehand. When I tried to connect I received a message that it wasn't available on my routes. Why couldn't they tell me that it might not work on my routes before they took my money? Further, why wasn't it available? It's not like I was going on a multi city/country trip, this was Atlanta to Portland non-stop. Then there's the 'Premier Seating". I opted for it on my outbound flight and received TSA Pre Check. I didn't buy the seating coming back; I did not receive TSA Pre Check. Coincidence? My fare was more than Alaska Airlines was offering it for, I paid for the wifi that didn't work, and in order to avoid the back of the plane, you must pay. So, I guess I'll be going to Alaska Airlines. They don't have as many flights, but I don't feel dinged for more money every time I turn around."

Cons: "Charging customers for meals on a transatlantic flight is a terrible way to nickel and dime your customers for the most basic provisions. Not all travellers carry accepted credit cards, including the woman sitting beside me. Because it is so common (formally standardized) for airlines to provide food on longer flights, many travellers assume their WestJet flight will the same and arrive unprepared. I normally love WestJet for their customer service, but these flight attendants talked down to customers with legitimate questions. I am choosing another airline for my next international flight, although reluctantly so - I hope to see some changes from WestJet for a more comfortable flight."

I was motion sick the entire ride, and no water was provided until four hours in, and while I understand it was due to turbulence, perhaps if it is too bumpy to serve water for the first four hours we should not be flying at all. Also very little food is provided for a 5.5 hour trip, two biscuits is not sufficient and as we landed near midnight there are not many options to acquire quick food either."

I was very grateful. Also, your flight attendants seem to really enjoy their jobs. This is not the case on other airlines!"

Cons: "Well, they mixed up my check-in luggage during transit. As a result it got delayed and I had to spend the night without it. Although, I was informed about this miss when I landed in Vancouver, the team did not seem to feel particularly bad about it. Also, the process of getting reimbursed for the predefined expenditure allowance needs to be more efficient. Ideally, in such cases, the airlines should not only refund the check-in fee, but also provide a prepaid card to make any urgent purchases. Their current process requires one to bear the expenses initially, scan/click and send the original receipts and await a response from their baggage team. I am waiting to hear back from them on my submission."

So they say will wait for us as flight not full. Nope, flight leaves without 7 of us. Got the " don't know what happened" look. So they give us a $60 dollar food voucher, and take us to hotel because now must wait 12 hours for next flight. Tell us to be in lobby at a certain time to catch shuttle back to airport. Time comes, sorry no room, and buggers off. They call taxis, when drivers find drive for vouchers, tell us to load own baggage! Not likely to fly West Jet again."

I almost missed my flight from SJ to LA in the early morning 3) at the SJ airport, I was not aware that the flight from SJ to LA was operated by Delta not American airline. However, the Westjet customer services 1-888 number listed in your Kayak confirmation was not a correct number. I even tried to look up another customer services number of Westjet by searching the Westjet website, the number I found was not in service neither. I almost missed my flight from SJ to LA 4) At the LA airport I was told that I was not able to board the flight because I did not have the Canadian ETA. they said they would pull my checked luggages and flight them with my re-scheduled flight and will be shipped to the final destination Vancouver, Canada. when I arrived Vancouver, both suitcases were not arrived with my flight. One arrived with my original flight and the second were missing. The agent could not even tell me where the suitcase was. Moreover, the second did not arrive the time I was told it should arrive. My second suitcase was not allocated even before I left Vancouver to Europe one day after my travel. 5) No one responded to the luggage services number provided in the document. I could only successfully login to the link for the checking the status after I returned home in Brussels. 6) I was told that the second suitcase will be delivered to my home in Europe by another company. Currently I'm still waiting for my second suitcase."

I don’t understand how you cancel flights and bump people to other flights only for them to be SUPER packed. I thought at the rate of cases rising airlines should be doing a better job at taking safety precautions. Not American. Why do they think it’s a safe idea at this time to have my wife and I packed in with a total stranger for four hours? No social distancing whatsoever! Overall I cannot say a single good thing about this flight. Worst in my entire life"

Problem since we had to move laptop, etc. before the actual boarding. Attendants not as professional as they should be. The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."

So it was FOUR HOURS LATE arriving, including an extra hour on the ground in Bangor because they'd lost their landing slot (tho they lied about "bad weather" at JFK) ... a succession of lies and incompetence. Headphone jack didn't even work at the seat ... the movie was a US film dubbed into French anyway! Gawd what incompetence. A letter Fedexed to Doug Parker, AA's CEO, was not even acknowledged.... and I do 35,000 air miles a year on AA. THE WORST."

Cons: "Constant flight delays. We were left on the runway for two hours before taking off due to an issue with the laboratory. The plane was overpacked, not allowing much personal space even in the aisle seat. People were sleeping on the floor and some in the aisles, creating a tripping hazard to those wanting to stand and stretch or walk to the restrooms. Those who attempted to sleep in their seat found that the seats were very uncomfortable and had very little to no leg room. When it came time to land at our destination, we ended up having to circle the airport for an additional 35 mins waiting for the terminal to free up. It was a very long 10hr flight that even the nice selection of movies to choose from couldn't help. Terrible flight experience, Canadian Air has really gone down hill."

This left us outside of security, unable to go anywhere to rest. No one expects to be comfortable when you spend the night in the airport, but this was worse. No where to sleep, no decent chairs to rest in. We weren't sure why, since our connecting flight to Seoul South Korea was also Air Canada, our luggage had to be picked up at baggage claim, held on until the following morning, then rechecked. The clerks at the Air Canada ticket and baggage counter were supposed to be opened at 9, but an incredibly rude employee snapped at me that he didn't have time to talk to me, that I'd just need to wait until 9:30 when they opened."

Cons: "As we were ready to start boarding, suddenly the desk employees announced that anyone who had done a self serve or web check in needed to come to the desk with ID. Seemed like at least 75% had done this! Also at the same time they decided to make a point about only 1 hand carry per person and probably 25% of the so called hand carry items ended up being checked in as they were far too big and never should have been allowed in the first place. A good portion of the passenger had 2 hand carry SUITCASES each. This all should have been dealt with during the waiting period - not at the 30 min mark before departure. Flight departed late as a result."

Pros: "In-flight entertainment console is pretty good"
Cons: "Departure was 40 minutes delayed right off the bat for reasons unknown and unexplained. Then, worse, mechanical trouble on the tarmack, we had to return to the gate and power down the plane, while still remaining on board, unventilated and unpleasantly sweaty, in the dark even for a while. What should have been a quick 1.5 hour flight and 8:30pm arrival thus became a sweaty 4-hour ordeal and almost 11pm arrival. Not the end of the world, but I was a bit taken aback at the absence of apologetic behaviour, like perhaps serving drinks while we're sweating on the tarmack, or heaven forbid, a meal of some sort considering we were departing later than we should have all already been home."

I canceled my flight and am awaiting refund. I booked with another airline. I am severely disappointed with United's behavior. I've flown out of several countries from various airlines, and the US and US-based airlines are the only flight with consistent delays. It's honestly embarrassing. And I suppose, while I'm complaining, I'll add--as someone with a severe peanut allergy, it was important that this flight was with Air Canada, who actually cares about my safety. That I had to miss my flight and book with another, potentially dangerous airline, added to my dissatisfaction."

Pros: "The attendants were really on to of everything. They checked on me at very regular intervals and asked if there was anything else I would need often. The did was really good in premier economy seating and that seats were comfortable."
Cons: "There was not a good way to check in online for my flight as I am not specifically a member of air Canada miles, however I am a star alliance member which they honor. It just does not allow you to check in online and preselect your seats. Also the booking did not take into account my known traveler number so I did not receive tsa pre check clearance like I normally would have."
