Cons: "I had been checked in since the day before my flight and for some reason, because I wasn’t at my connecting gate 30 min prior to when they started boarding, the gate agent gave my seat away. I had to wait several hours for the next flight."
Pros: "It was a nice, quick hop. Everyone played by the new COVID rules."
Pros: "Very kind associate working at the gate. She helped me obtain my seat assignment and was a pleasure to speak with. Her happiness was contagious (even at 6am!). She put me at ease."
Cons: "The last travelers in boarding line (including myself) had to check their carry on luggage because “there was no more room in the overhead compartments”. However, while I was walking to my seat, I saw ample storage space as well as suitcases that were laying horizontally or flat and could easily have been adjusted to create even more space. Given that most people pack their most valuable items in their carry on bags (as well as anything fragile), I was a bit uneasy checking mine. The associate who helped check my bag on the tarmac was kind. I was grateful that my luggage had a hard shell case."
Pros: "That it got me where I needed to go."
Cons: "The crew, the food, the tv capability, the amenities. Overall it was the worst international flight I have ever been on. They confiscated my unopened beer I purchased after security point. They had me assigned to a wrong seat, so I had to fight my way 20 rows up as people are filing into their seats. The hot towel to clean your hands was dry and cold. The roll was hard as a rock and cold. The crew was rude and unapproachable. It took almost 3 hours to get them to reset my tv and when she finally did it glitched the whole time I tried watching it. The croissant was literally cooked to the paper and had to rip apart Croissant to get the paper off. They didn't serve the cocktail as promised. It was a pretty poor performance on all levels, and if this survey truly means anything, I hope this gets remedied."

Cons: "First flight attendant asking about the pillow she found in the aisle and kicked to the side."

Pros: "I was seated in economy comfort. Compared with Delta's Econoomy Comfort, I felt that the KLM seat had more legroom and greater recline."
Cons: "The dinner was awful. No choice of meal. Everyone got a small plastic contained filled with macaroni in tomator sauce. Nothing else. Incredibly bad. Breakfast was better. Sausage and eggs, melon, yoghurt. But who is in the mood to eat at 2 am?"

Cons: "I had three seats to myself! After getting elbowed all the way from Amsterdam to Minneapolis, I was tired and I slept three good hours."
Cons: "I was placed on an earlier flight as soon as I arrived at the Portland airport. The flight was full, there was no room for my bag in the overhead bins. The bag was checked, not to just Seattle but all the way to Venice. Well, surprise, surprise, the bag was lost on the way to Venice. KLM does not allow enough time in Amsterdam for luggage to make a connecting flight."
Pros: "In general the crew attitude toward passengers"
Cons: "Toilets have been modified that a person could barely do his needs"
The flight was delayed and I missed boarding my 7 day cruise. I had to book a separate flight home
How long ,and having to fly west of Regina to Edmonton , then fly over Regina to Toronto 👎, then to puerto plata !! Same on way home, puerto plata to Toronto then fly over Regina to Calgary👎. Then back to Regina !
Miss the tv at least showing the map as one travels.

Contrary to most of my experiences with WestJet over the past nineteen years, this was the worst, overall, trip I have ever had with them, from delays, to missing my connecting flight, to gross incompetence with the staff, to a failure to even empathize with our situation (with a baby!)."
Pros: "The stewardess accidentally spilled a little water on me but she was so nice about it and apologetic that she paid for my drink. Good people skills in bad situations make a huge difference."

This was supposed a 10 hours and 15 minutes flight, however it turned out to be a 17 long hours journey. This kind of delay is unacceptable. Wasting so many our precious time, especially as a senior with some health issues like me any delay is a huge torture for me. A proper compensation is much appreciated. Thank you for listening.

Multiple delays, multiple gate changes, disorderly boarding, no carry-on baggage room, few snacks, small dinner, small seats, no ventilation and etc. You are treated poorly if in economy class.
I would never fly air Canada again….delay after delay…poor service….
I liked the spaciousness of the business-class seating area. I also liked the heaviness of the blanket and the fact that the seats could go much more flat. It would be wonderful if the seats in economy would also be able to recline more for better rest on the longer flights.
Late getting off the plane. Took a very long time to get my luggage. Ended up missing my next flight, had to rebook and get a hotel room. Costed $800
Staff were lovely. My only beef is can't anyone offer snacks that don't have corn in them?! Especially pretzels, which don't even need it!!!
Very rushed and stressful Transfer at Pearson. Baggage delayed, I have been advised is coming, but not sure when.
The section of the flight handled by Thai Airways was excellent. The crew was great, the food was good. But they lost our luggage

Cons: "I was charged for my carry on that they then forced me to check. Then one of the stewards on the second leg was an outright nasty woman regarding masks. I had my mask over nose and mouth. But apparently not enough and then she was loudly talking to the other flight attendants about it. One told me “I was perfectly fine.”"

They take their time, almost slothlike, with an air of arrogance that tells me that they don’t respect me. It appears in how long it takes to pull a plane in, how long it takes to get bags off, and how long it takes for bags to hit the baggage claim."

Two pieces got sent to 2 different flights. The end result is I have to wait for my second piece of luggage to be delivered on a different day."

Good flight and all but airlines are now moving away from providing anything as part of the flight which was previously included, ie in flight entertainment service or snacks.
The real problem with Sunwing is that they are totally undependable. Plane was supposed to heave at 8:20 pm from Varadero to Toronto. Instead because of delays on their part, finally left at 2:30 AM Same thing happened a few days back to my family whereby they were delayed one full day. Throughout the process, no one told them anything. They found out by accident from another passenger after waiting a few hours in the hotel all for nothing Same thing happened with my daughter and husband last year with delays which caused them to miss two days of s much needed 7 days break to Aruba No matter what the cost, I will nit fly Sunwing again and also encourage friends and values to never fly this hihh highly problematic airline
Edreams did not pay the airline and I had to buy another ticket to be able to travel and they still have not refunded my money
Why do I have to pay $20 to leave the airport? Why do I have to pay $25 for the carry on? This was my worst travelling experiences ever. This was my second time and my last time
Minimal service (no entertainment or snack) as advertised, so be prepared. Very friendly flight crew and staff. Excellent service all around

I bought a 1-way ticket from Punta Cana home to Canada, surprise, when I got to the lineup at the airport Sunwing charges a 20 USD airport tax separately. I was told I should have known, though it is the only airline in the terminal that charges it (separately, USD only, no cards or local currency accepted). ATMs at the airport out of service, nowhere to purchase USD on-site. Local banks do not sell you USD if you don't have an account with them... Eventually I found a taxi driver to buy the currency from. Luckily I speak Spanish and am comfortable in the country on my own. I was able to find a solution as the Nexus greeter for Sunwing offered no help. Other Sunwing team members and flight crew I met later were much more helpful when I could not complete self-check-in (flying with carry-on only) as all the seats were locked and apparently could only be assigned at the desk (despite the greeter telling me to use the self-check-in).
Due to the onboard check on system malfunction, we were getting conflicting messages about the flight status. Found it very interesting that kayak gave us updates before the Sunwing app or representatives did.
Was not allowed to board because my KAYAK purchased ticket was declined / invalidated. DO NOT USE KAYAK.
Cramped seats, no in-flight entertainment. Basic A to B transportation. Staff were fantastic. Like riding a school bus in the sky.
