Pros: "Crew on plane were very good; gate agent was not."
Cons: "Assertive gate agent in Toronto insisted I check my carry-on even though it was within regs and there was lots of overhead space (I was 2nd on the plane) but he insisted saying it would be waiting for me as I debarked (not true-came down carousel with checked bags)"

Pros: "snacks"
Cons: "the flight was late!!!!!!!!!! without explanation"

Pros: "City Center airport and staff at Porter was great"
Cons: "Flight kept getting delayed without explanation or rescheduling. Each "new" time had already passed when it was set, e.g., "The new departure time is noon" when it was already 12:15."

Pros: "Staff were friendly and helpful with the situation and delay"
Cons: "The seats feel old and have a lot of wear in them. The plane does not seem clean. They joke about the fact that the delays happen often and they update delays very slowly."

Pros: "The check in process was very easy. The boarding process was very easy. The flight attendants were very pleasant."
Cons: "There was not anything to complain about."

Pros: "This was my first time flying Porter. The flight was a reasonable price, the service was great. The aircraft was a little on the smaller side but still spacious enough for comfortable travel."

Pros: "Started late but arrived before time"

Pros: "Easy. Relaxed. Cheap. Great!"

Pros: "Lounge Snacks"

Pros: "The complimentary drinks at the Toronto waiting lounge."
Cons: "The price. The porter domestic flight was more expensive than the flying from Canada to USA on AirCanada."

Cons: "delay"

Pros: "Once they were up and running, Porter was a great airline. Flight was short so i didn't expect anything fancy on the food menu anyway"
Cons: "My flight got delayed at least 5 times. Not a great first experience. Had an eerie likeliness of Spirit, which we all know is just not a real airline. not sure if I would fly again if that is the general perception of Porter airlines. I could care less about comfort as long as I get to where I am going on time, which I did not."

Pros: "Nothing. My first and last time to book with ghem"
Cons: "See above"

Pros: "The lounge before boarding was very diverse and qas definitely a nice treat. Info about entertainment is irrelevant since these are small planes for short distances. All in all very organized and comfortable airline."

Pros: "At least on time."
Cons: "Air craft was so old."

Cons: "Trip was cancelled within one hour of boarding"

Pros: "i love flying porter"

Cons: "Same issues as above"

Cons: "delayed"

Pros: "due to weather then mechanical difficulty, we were quite delayed in take off, but the boarding area was comfortable and the airline did everything they could make our connection possible and we though delayed landed in Sault Ste. Marie that day. Not ideal, but admirable."

Pros: "Entertainment n/a. My flight was really quick. We took off around 9:55pm and landed at 10:30pm which is crazy because it was supposed to be a 56min flight ! Porter makes you feel like you're in first class with their aervice. They also have a comfy lounge to wait in."
Cons: "There's no prayer or meditation room"

Pros: "Excellent service, speedy process, stress free, friendly atmosphere. Felt like I was in mad men :)"

Pros: "Free snacks, drinks."
Cons: "Nearly 2 hour delay :("

Pros: "finally arriving...eight hours late"
Cons: "It wasn't just the hour and a half delay from the first flight or sitting on the plane an extra hour after boarding. Nor was it the over 3 hour delay of the second flight (itself two hours after the initial connection due to the first leg being late and then the initial second leg being cancelled). Flight attendants on the first porter flight were not simply talking to passengers. They were talking down to passengers. Customer service reps in Toronto, while understandably dealing with many complaints, thought a roll of the eyes would go unnoticed. It didn't, and the entire experience was unacceptable. So you know, the dinner I flew out for to celebrate one of my best friends wedding, I completely missed. Thanks Porter and Kayak."

Pros: "Exquisite service and real glassware. Unbelievable! And the crew actually paid attention and was thorough during the safety procedures."

Pros: "Seat was comfortable. And crews were very nice."

Pros: "Flight was on-time, the aircraft was clean and staff were pleasant."
Cons: "I found the bathroom to be very tiny even though I'm only 5'5 and 122 lbs."

Pros: "The service, crew, complimenatry snacks, and everything about flying with a non u.s. company is just great."

Pros: "Flight was on time and lounge in Toronto is great."
Cons: "The propeller machines somehow give the impression of not being exactly the latest in technology."

Pros: "Porter got me there and back safely. Very agreeable flight attendants. But the airport is a crazy house of escalators up and down: Down one such elevator to a sedately moving walkway. Slow. Then up a long escalator. Then up a second slightly shorter one. Then up still a third escalator. Then the crazy airport rigamarole we sheep endorse sans fin. Then down one more escalator .Finally a walk to the aircraft. Is this airport design rational?"
Cons: "The Q400 is evidently old. The windows are so full of condensation that one can barely see anything through the fog. This is disappointing in any form of transport. One is told one's bag is so small it can be carried on board. But on arriving at seat 18A, one finds the bin above this row is filled with Porter supplies of some kind. Finding alternative room for the small bag is difficult. Especially when one is 92 years old. Something seems wrong with this arrangement, too."

Pros: "Great service overall."

Pros: "Despite the chaotic day at the airport, the boarding went fast and flight was perfect"
Cons: "Getting back our carry on baggage at destination was a disaster."

Pros: "What did I like? I was treated like a human being by one and all--a novel experience in today's travel. The flight attendants actually attended! The pilot sounded like she cared that she was flying us. The airport crew are polite. What's not to like? All other airline employees should have to take a ride on a Porter Flight in and out of Billy Bishop, the city island airport. They should experience the possibilities of positive air travel."
Cons: "The only thing I didn't like is that I don't go to Canada enough. So I'm going to have to go on American Airlines again for most of my destinations (the airline where we have frequent flier miles.) I'm going to have to be treated like a soiled object that no one wants to serve. I'm going to have to be told over and over again that I haven't got enough 'status' to board, or get a decent seat, or have a snack."

Pros: "The staff and crew were very kind!"
Cons: "Delayed again as always."

Pros: "I liked the lounge in the Toronto airport. ..most comfortable while you wait"

Pros: "Flight was in time both ways and the service was excellent by all staff on board."

Pros: "Love Porter, their lounge, service, snacks - everything is awesome and provides for excellent value!"

Cons: "We were suppose to arrive at 3 pm. The delay was 6 Hrs. We arrived around 9"

Pros: "Price, Quality of refreshments, complementary alcohol, staff attitude. Billie Bishop airport is a gem - glad you fly there."
Cons: "Tickets are non-refundable."

Pros: "Efficient staff, comfortable seats, free snack and beverage."
Cons: "The departures lounge was over-crowded. Many people were sitting in the ground, and it was difficult even to find a place to stand out of the way."

Pros: "Travel from Canada to the US went fine. Please see the bad for my comment about the one angel gate agent."
Cons: "Travel home was a nightmare. I checked in. Went through security. Went to board and a glitch happened in their system with my layover. They checked me in 5 times and on the 6th a total meltdown. I was now a security issue. I've never been arrested or even have the slightest past. I am a thin woman carrying a banana bread and bagels, which I offered to relinquish as my personal item. They couldn't figure out the glitch in their system and didn't want the plan to be delayed so they started to let it begin the take off process. I asked, "WHAT ABOUT ME???" They said they'd put me on the next flight out. I knew it was canceled, so I told them that was a bad plan. They knew as well, but were trying to let the plane go without me. The main agent was awful. So rude and did not care if I was stuck in Canada all night for their technical issue from a 1pm flight. Some angel flight attendant overheard, put her foot down, hand wrote me a ticket and ran me on the plane. Got to my layover in Toronto. Spoke with a manager about the issues, she said they were all cleared up. Tried to board the plan, same thing happened again. No one in either airport knows why, but they all admitted it was an issue in their computer system and not actually with me."

Pros: "I was traveling with my 8 month old, everyone on staff was very friendly, helpful & accommodating!"

Pros: "Flight was cancelled and after 5 hours of stand by I had to book different flight."

Cons: "Boarding the plane I was seated in 17a next to another passenger at the back of the plane. I was told it was not a full flight 9 passengers only! Yet I was seated at the back next to another passenger?! I asked if I could move and was told I had to stay at the back to keep the plane balanced. I weigh about 100 pounds and the man next me surely weighed no more than 150. How in the world did we keep a plane with over 70 seats balanced? I was frightened and never got up imagining horrible things. To make things worse we hit turbulence on the descent and I had wondered if the lack of people or seating arrangements affected this. It was a bad flight and if weight or distribution had anything to do with it then the other seven passengers should have been rearranged accordingly. I have always been able to change my seat when flying alone. This caused me excessive anxiety and concern about the safety of this flight and plane. I will not recommend Porter because of this and I have already expressed my unsatisfaction with colleagues. Sincerely Colleen Sullivan (732)688-2861 Francaiscs@gmail.com"

Pros: "Best airline I've flown with. So easy, they're so nice, plus there are some good free snacks and they drop you off right next to Toronto. Puts the American carriers to shame."

Cons: "the whether was a mess and the flight came an hour left. We got the last two seats and it was shaking like crazy."

Pros: "We loved the friendly service & getting thru customs without standing forever. The free goodies was an added bonus. THANK YOU!"

Pros: "the food is better now"
Cons: "the planes are too small"

Pros: "Not sure what you're expecting from an airline that services such small towns, but I thought everything was lovely. Planes are incredibly tiny, makes the landing a little more bumpy, but at least I wasn't paying $700 for AC jazz."
Cons: "Beware though, they use the word "chips" and the snack is actually vegetable chips. Sweet potato, parsnip, etc.. They were good, just not what one expects."

Cons: "Eliminate an acceptable two and a half hours delay in take off time due to catering planning issues."

Pros: "I liked that there was wifi on board."
Cons: "We had a 3.5 hour delay. The crew could have offered extras to make up for it."

Pros: "Flight was on time. Boarding was quick."

Cons: "There were several announcements to download the Air Canada app in order to access in flight entertainment. They must have been 5-6 announcements about this. WiFi access was to start after take off in order to use the app. but was never available."

Cons: "I didn’t fly out of Philadelphia because the flight was 5 hrs late and I missed my connecting flight. Had to go get my luggage, go home and try to fly today! Terrible! All my plans screwed up!"

Cons: "Some cabin crew seemed quite grumpy, whilst others were friendly & welcoming. Food was very good"

Pros: "The movies."
Cons: "Seat size"

Cons: "left 40 minutes late"

Cons: "Entertainment system was down for the entire flight"

Pros: "Loved crews."
Cons: "Our plane was delayed for 5 hrs. On top of it, they brought in a smaller plane with 100+ less seating than original one which caused us losing our reserved seating. They refused to give us our seating arrangements up until the boarding time. All the other passengers had boarding tickets but us. So our family couldn’t sit together. I had a super pleasant experience with Air Canada prior to this trip so it made me so sad. On the other hand, crew were fantastic. We missed our connecting flight but they took care of us so I was happy in that sense."

Pros: "Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings"
Cons: "Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one"

Pros: "The flight was smooth and the entertainment was diverse which I loved. I watched a documentary on the Inuit and an Israeli movie ( both things I am not normally exposed to ). How awesome ."
Cons: "There is nothing I did not like"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."

Pros: "I do not intend to use Kayak again because it is extremely difficult if not impossible to make sets reservations even though I am in Executive class."

Cons: "third time flying with air Canada rouge to vegas and its the same story every time. They never check and everyone brings in 3,4 carry on so they don't have to pay the 25 dollar fee. Then there's no room and flight is delayed because of that."

Pros: "More leg room than on other airlines, friendly crew"
Cons: "No snack provided"

Pros: "The crew to Calgary was wonderful. Flights were on time. Airbus was comfortable and quiet."
Cons: "The crew from Calgary to Toronto was average - not pleasant...."

Pros: "Comfort, decent entertainment selection, crew was pleasant and professional, boarding was smooth"
Cons: "Food = bland mystery meat entree."

Pros: "grest plane. Comfortable seats even in coach. Good entertainment offering"
Cons: "No food offered (was a red eye so a bit understandable although a bag of peanuts would have been nice). Had to ask for water twice/ crew seemed like they had checked out and not interested in serving anyone... usually foreign carriers are much better than us carriers. Not the case with air Canada (this is our first and most likely last time we'll fly w them -unless they offer really cheap seats)"

Pros: "Absolutely nothing."
Cons: "No flight attendant came during the entire course of the flight, even after I had pressed the button for one. One flight attendant was extremely hostile. Horrible experiencing flying to Vancouver from Vegas."

Cons: "I did not fly to Montreal and I did not catch flight to Barcelona I am fling again tonight Toronto - Barcelona direct"

Cons: "I booked my flight from Vancouver to Kiev The first flight it's to Toronto then to Kiev.. and when Went to the counter in Kiev they said sorry but Turkish airline didn't send my booking to kanda airline so I missed all my flight schedule I didn't wait I bought another ticket to Kiev in the same date on Lufthansa airline And it cost me like 1945c$"

Cons: "The temperature control system was broken so the cabin temperature was upwards of 90F for the entire flight. The flight crew wouldn't acknowledge the issue until we had landed."

Pros: "Air Canada's crew is very professionnal."

Cons: "Super noisy and we left 30 minutes late"

Cons: "The seats and the lack of leg room."

Cons: "We were crammed in with no room to move. no way to get comfortable. Seats not comfortable. Very tight space and not pleasant."

Cons: "I was unable to board that flight since I did not have transit visa for Canada and no where it was mentioned anywhere on Kayak's website. Nor on confirmation email as well. I was not aware of the same despite having travelled to states couple of times in the past. I had to purchase ticket from another carrier at the last moment on the airport."

Pros: "They weigh every little carry on even little backpacks. My Dad who is 83 had very hard time since he had one pound over. Max weigh you can in your carry on is 22 pound. Extremely money hungry Air Line. I would avoid at any cost."

Pros: "It was not a completely full flight. The Boarding process was done by mainline Air Canada employees and it was perfectly good and the flight left on time. The aircraft's interior was not clean. The carpet the seats and the tray tables all dirty and discussing. The seats are undiscribly substandard and uncomfortable. The bilingual announcement was done incoherintkyin both languages absolutely not professional Crew was nice except an Asian/Canadian flight attendent. It's a less than adequate experience even for a officially second tier airline. Why does Canada put out an embarrassing product like this airline ? Shame on them !"

Pros: "I was happy to be on the flight."

Pros: "Air Canada is so willing to make changes at the last minute when I was at the airport. They put me on an earlier fight because I was there in very good time. Generally just a really lovely experience."

Pros: "Crew friendly and helpful. Short flight. Great service (got a soda and pretzels on a 30 minute flight)"
Cons: "Small, worn plane."

Cons: "They lost our checked baggage. Luckily we did get them back within 20 hours."

Pros: "The entertainment"
Cons: "Having to pay to have a bit of extra comfor while traveling with a 14 months old"

Cons: "We missed our flight to Minnepolis we got a later flight home. We were tired and disappointed about getting home late. When we got to the gate our plane was still there but they said it was too late to get on but they delayed the plane 10 minutes to take our luggage off. We got a later flight. Not happy."

Pros: "Media and staff very good"
Cons: "Airport was empty, plane was empty. But still had to wait to get on due to filled with people who put suitcases away that sat near front but not first class."

Cons: "I was supposed to be home on a Sunday. That I didn't arrive until the follow Tuesday should tell you something. My adventure included: 2 cancelled flights, one drastically oversold flight, being given a hotel room without a working toilet, hours spent waiting at the airport for information from gate agents who never showed up, and being curtly told that, as a passenger who didn't arrive on a connecting flight, on my second night I would not be given a hotel room, but instead a mat to sleep on in the airport. I did finally get a hotel room—this time with a working toilet"

Cons: "Received my luggage after one day"

Cons: "It was cancelled."

Pros: "Flight attendant's were friendly amid the circumstances."
Cons: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."

Pros: "Always seems to happen with some leg of an Air Canada flight....and they couldn't find my luggage, so delayed my boarding at Customs, too."

Cons: "Long line and not much organization during boarding"

Pros: "The 2-3-2 seat configuration is better for travelling as a duo. We were provided with blankets and pillows for the 9 HR flight. Food was quite tasty for airline meals."
Cons: "Host staff made very few trips up and down the aisles. Have not before been on an Air Canada flight where there are no seat back screens, so it was a surprise not to have any in flight entertainment."

Cons: "Only in Canada they make you remove headset for takeoff and landing."

Pros: "Billy Bishop airport is awesome!"
Cons: "Flight was delayed and crew didn't accommodate a rebooking despite availability .. Although original flight did board soon after."

Pros: "Crew was moderately attentive"
Cons: "Boarding at the Toronto airport was an absolute mess. One of the "gentlemen" scanning tickets was moderately rude to people waiting to board. Which I mean, I get it, it's a rough job, but dude. I don't wanna be here any more than you do. Stow the attitude and scan the ticket. The food was eh, but that's all airline food. There isn't much space between seats so you're bumping elbows most of the ride, and during a 13 hour flight, that gets old real quick."

Cons: "Flight left almost one hour late"

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "first flight cancelled, second flight delayed so impossible to get the connection. Nobody called me about it, I had to go to ask."

Pros: "Love Air Canada"
