The ONLY part of flying Air Canada that I used to like was your partnership with SAS, over the past ten years I have lost more airtravel points through Star Alliance troubles than I could have made in the decade before. Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian.

I paid extra for a seat to ensure leg room, all I got was ear ache! The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd

Once boarded, the crew was pleasant and very helpful. It was a smooth flight.

Air Canada check-in at YOW was overwhelmed. There were not enough agents to handle the amount of passengers or flights they had going out. I waited 50 minutes in a check-in line and almost missed my flight. Passengers in front and behind me had the same experience. Air Canada really needs to examine their operations at YOW and manage the situation better.

I liked how the crew was helpful and wanted to help everyone with their luggage. they didn’t disturb me in my sleep and didn’t walked around a lot. The flight timing was on time and it landed on time as well so that was very satisfying.

I didn’t like the sitting of the airplane. It looks more like sitting in a local bus and its not very spacious. On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again.

Direct flight, staff was courteous, priority checkin was worth it. Also the activity paid on the flight "dolphin encounter" was worh it.

Boarding delay of 50 min with no notice. We could have taken the kids to the restroom earlier, however we kept waiting as we thought that we'll board any minute. Aircraft looked dated, seats not too comfortable.

I got to come back home! The fly was delayed due to a technical issue that required a part to be sourced. Unfortunately, the part was not available in the local shop (YVR-Vancouver) Instead they had to fly the part to be replaced from (YYZ-Toronto) The good fortune for us is that the hotel did allow us to use their facilities and enjoy their F&B all with the exception of a room to lay. They allowed pools and lounge chairs which is just as well. I am not trying to be critical but have the delayed occur while we were at the Airport-It would have been a killer way to close a vacation! Check-in agent was superb. She was very helpful and understanding and really a super star

Lack of information by local agents either by the design or just by being left in the dark. The Airport staff was not knowledgeable either they were very sympathetic and accommodating (more so than the Nexus-Local Agents) I am sure is beyond their power and is not something they have power or control over. It was bad luck! I would hate to be the incoming passengers as it meant they lost a whole afternoon.

Nothing

Our flight was delayed by 3 hours. We missed our connecting flight so we are in a hotel in Toronto now at 1:30 am. And our flight out is at 5:50 am and we will need to get up by 4 to get to the airport by 4:50. Getting our hotel and food vouchers was long and painful and disorganized. Would not fly with them again

Signed up for txt notifications, but not informed of flight dep delays; told repeatedly of 'full flights at del gate but not the case, lots of empty seats; delayed again on arrival, waiting for 'assigned' berthing to open up, which was assigned to another plane; had to walk 'miles' to get to security once inside terminal - why doesn't AirCanada get decent treatment in assigned berthing at Pearson, especially after midnight when there must be hardly any flights arriving...

As it has been for the past 20 years or so, the crew look fairly unhappy and act distant. The same at the check-in counter. The man next to the info/help AC desk told me that he does not have 'fragile' stickers and that the desk is for wheel-chair people - though he was doing nothing, and the woman next was helping a customer with something complicated. SHE had to turn around and ask him to look under the papers, and find me the 'fragile' stickers.... I do not like AC service for the past many years. I do have to say that the flight (technically) was good.

Air canada needs a serious serious overhaul of the way they treat their customers especially those working at the Toronto airport I find their employees have an "entitlement" mentality that other carriers do not Customer service seems to be a priority not talking to your coworkers about the weekend while serving your customers

There was one employee who suggested to take an earlier flight and was very helpful Little things go along way

Prices are per person, are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in CAD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
