Pros: "Ease of boarding. Carry on luggage is handled by crew staff - makes boarding much easier as passengers aren't struggling to find space for the carry on bags. The bags are ready for pickup upon exiting the aircraft. Would highly recommend Porter and would use again."

Cons: "Flight was delayed for about 4 hours then canceled on a Sunday night and I wasn't rebooked until Wednesday morning. Porter staff said I would only be refunded the "pro-rated" fare for the leg that was canceled. This makes no sense as I had to buy my own ticket home from another airline and I didn't get to pay a "pro-rated" fare because I was halfway home. They also put us up in an extremely sketchy hotel that was unsafe, unclean and had an active prostitution ring going on."

Pros: "My past 4 Porter flights over a few months have had at least 40 minutes of delays. They all also had the annoying pattern of announcing that the delay would be extended a few times, then saying no more delays, then not boarding until after the newest departure time while claiming no more delays. Toronto airport is cute but wifi is pretty bad and hasn't worked at all a few times. Recently gate area has been ridiculously overcrowded, people sitting all over the floor. Free food/drinks is nice but still very limited options and unsurprisingly people make a big mess of the free food area. Overall I prefer a large clean airports where wifi always works well and you can always find a seat for the 30+ minutes you wait for your flight."

The staff seem totally non chalant about all these cancelled flights and allllll of the delays and repeatedly say that the airline is understaffed... hello i don't care why my vacation was cut short by 36 hours and i got stuck paying 200$ for a hotel room tat i didn't get to stay in!!! I could have arrived at the airport later and paid less for my parking. - I was told by a gate agent I would still make my very tight connection (spoiler alert - I did not), so I did not ask to be rebooked on a later connection immediately. - Once it became clear I would likely miss my connection due to being delayed after boarding, I asked again about it, this time of a flight attendant. I was told there were 23 daily flights a day to my connecting city (there are not) and it would be fine. We sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes after landing waiting for a gate and the last hope of making that connection was gone. - Upon arrival in Toronto it turns out my connecting flight was cancelled and everyone had to be rebooked. The very pleasant customer service rep told me not to worry! They automatically rebook everyone and I've been scheduled to leave 10 flights later - the following morning. At 12:45 p.m. their best solution was a flight at 8:30 the next morning (later canceled). When I calmly explained that was not ideal, I was immediately given the "last seat out today" on a 9:30 flight (later delayed then canceled). I'm not sure who they were saving that for, but it is unacceptable to rebook people for the next day when they have free seats. I was resigned to spending 9 hours in the terminal (literally just a room with a few snacks) because I was also on standby for every flight until then, and fortunately after checking in again 5 hours later, I was handed a ticket for the flight leaving in 15 minutes. If I had followed Porter's original plan, I have no idea when I would have made it, as I already mentioned both of those other flights were later canceled and I've already gone over how Porter rebooks passengers. - I found out after I spent $20 Canadian on a sandwich and chips via the Porter website that they are supposed to give meal vouchers in a significant delay, but I was not offered one. - On the way back, I saw myself being set up for the same rigmarole. My first flight was delayed more than a half hour, leaving me with a very tight connection. Thankfully, I arrived at the airport earlier and was able to catch an earlier flight because as it turns out, the connecting flight I would have missed due to the delay ended up being canceled. I can only imagine what the rebooking process would have been, so I am glad Porter is accommodating about switching flights. I imagine they do so to save them the rebooking later, but still, it is not something all airlines will do. - Both flights out to Montreal were incredibly hot. I tend to run cold and I was sweating. The flights home on a warmer day were fine, so I'm not sure what was going on there."

I really wish I had put my luggage in the overhead. Also, minutes before boarding we were told to go and verify our passports. It was quite a rush to run to the other end of the room, wait in line and then get to the boarding gate. I barely made it back in time even though I had been waiting there for nearly an hour ."

Luckily when I fly from my birth place of St. John's NL, you're ground staff are the absolute best! I can give "shout outs" to each and every one of them. From those ready for retirement to the new staff just in from "who knows where", they get the whole "customer service" priority that your airline needs to focus on. Your management in Halifax "Sharon" is out of this world too, other than that whether through Lufthansa, Air Canada or anywhere I would travel, seeing that red leaf on your wing would make me ashamed to be Canadian."

The flight - although half empty had no place for my briefcase, but I was "ordered" to push my sealskin bag under the dirty greasy seat in front of me. When I requested they store it upfront for take-off & landing - the french female steward started flirting with the man sitting next to me and didn't even offer a response. When drinks came around - I was handed a half empty glass with juice on it's exterior and borrowed a napkin from the next seat. Later I did get a napkin "thrown gently" over the person she enjoyed speaking with. I was happy to wait until connecting passengers disembarked before the local traffic, but was appalled when the more senior female steward stopped a local passenger who I know has anxiety about flying - to insist she let the other passengers off first. Air Canada needs to be educated on what human behaviour entails, before they can graduate to customer service. Together with my first name, you can know my last name is Floyd"

Cons: "No entertainment"

Pros: "They oversold the flight and were unable to provide the services that were paid for months in advance. They didn't care just go wait in a line and then another. Then overestimate Canadian dollars and with exchange rate that was much less and they said they do this everyday."
Cons: "I paid in advance at a Fair for services they never intended to provide then they over less because of the exchange rate but mention the stress created at the end of a vacation."

Cons: "Return flight was delayed a couple hours, customs was "full" at Pearson causing more delays"

Cons: "No complimentary small snack at all, must pay for everything"

Cons: "This was the worse travel experience I have ever had. The crew was rude and gave wrong information that caused me to almost miss my flight. My ticket in the end ending costing me over $600 for all the additional charges. It was ridiculous. Among other things. I will never fly with them again."

Pros: "There is not one thing that was good about this flight. Bad plane, bad service, bad food. That sums it up. Will talk to as many travelers as I can to tell them to avoid this nightmare."
Cons: "No entertainment on board. No complimentary drinks. A piece of cold banana bread literally thrown on the tray for breakfast. Called the airline when reservation was made and told it would have entertainment and complimentary drinks. The switch to Rouge was a bait and switch. Rouge is from the 1970s. Long flights to sit and stare at the back of seat. Crowded seat at that. NEVER WILL FLY AIR CANADA AGAIN"

Pros: "There were 2 pilots- the female one was polite and informative. We took off on time and even landed a little earlier than planned."
Cons: "Very noisy flight on a small plane. The flight from Hartford to Toronto was cold and others noticed it as well. The windows are all blurry. The sound of the engine blocks out the safety announcements!! It's a joke that they even have them. There is no beverage served. And for all this wonderful service you pay an outrageous fee!!!! I felt like I was in the back of a donkey wagon..."

Pros: "I was concerned for seat comfort; my long legs fit fine and reclined sleep was comfortable. I was concerned about getting hungry; two meals kept my stomach quiet. I was concerned about sufficient distraction on such a long flight; the audio and video options are better than I've ever seen on the 767. Having just flown an Air Canada Rogue flight which was terribly cramped, uncomfortable and food-free with no form of entertainment I was worried. It turned out to be far better than expected."
Cons: "Perhaps I was fortunate but the experience was very good, no complaints."

Pros: "was forced to spend the night in Toronto because Air Canada didn't seem to know that there would be a huge crowd at the airport that evening. I was told as I exited my flight that I would not make the connecting flight and I had to spend the night in Toronto. I will never fly Air Canada again"

Pros: "The crew members in both the flights were amazing. they seemed like they enjoyed their job. Its not very common at Air Canada."
Cons: "The flight from Chicago to Toronto was delayed by half hour. But the boarding gate agents did not even mention the delay."

Pros: "There was nothing to like because I did not fly on Air Canada to Barcelona."
Cons: "For an unexplained reason, our first flight was delayed 45 plus minutes in Phoenix while cargo was moved from the forward cargo bay to the aft cargo bay. This caused us to miss our connection in Toronto. Air Canada then proceeded to rebook us on a flight leaving 2 days later. After an extended period of time, they finally rescheduled us for a flight to a different city in Europe and we had to catch another flight from there our final destination, Barcelona. The total additional travel time was extended by approximately 8 hours, causing us to lose the better part of our first day."

Cons: "My chair didn't lean back and the entertainment monitor did not work for about 2 hours."

Cons: "Lost my luggage no food only 1 juice' lost my luggage Robbed me (tsa toronto) of some gifts they thought dangerous"

Pros: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings!"

Pros: "flight was mostly empty so I can go sit somewhere else"
Cons: "I am only 6 feet tall, and my legs do not fit in those seats there is not physically enough room between the back of the seat and the back of the next seat for my legs to fit there"

Pros: "The flight attendant was personable and made the flight enjoyable."
Cons: "I couldn't get through security without my bag but they didn't have a way to let me know it was lost so I almost missed my flight waiting on a bag that wasn't coming. There should have been an announcement to come to the Air Canada desk. There wasn't. When I got to Charlotte, there was No One at the Air Canada desk to report my lost bag. Thank goodness those from United were able to provide me with a phone number to call. The phone attendant was not a native English speaker and made it incredibly difficult to file a claim. I'm still waiting for my bag."

Pros: "Extra leg room but paid for it."
Cons: "Very turbulent. Entertainment system was okay on iPad but selections were poor, lots of old stuff. Really dislike Rouge."

Pros: "I liked the Air Canada flight crew. They were all helpful and friendly. The flight was late leaving Toronto due to Florida weather issues and the crew did a good job keeping us informed and as comfortable as possible during the wait."
Cons: "Very little room in the seats. I am a man 5' 9" tall so I am average height. I barely had leg room and even less so when the person in front of me reclined his seat. Made the 3 hour trip feel a little uncomfortable. I miss the "back of the seat" entertainment system although the option through Air Canada's app worked fine,"

Cons: "Air Canada cancelled my boarding pass even though I made it to the gate before boarding started and refused to put me back on the flight. Then they lost my bags. The Toronto airport is a mess - avoid it if at all possible."

Pros: "Despite the original delay with the flight boarding staff was efficient at getting us on the plane as quickly as possible."
Cons: "The second part, from Toronto to Houston was the pitts. First of all they called me to the gate way before the boarding time and so I was a bit worried but when i got there there was nothing, they just confirmed I arrived from Montreal. This was strange and so I got a bit stressed as to why they had a called me and made me rush in the first place. Anyway, minor compared to the rest of the experience. The flight boarding was late, then an unscheduled stop in memphis for extra gas, then a tech problem that needed maintenance kept on on the ground. We finally made it to our destination 2 hours late. Most fellow passengers missed connecting flights and because we got out of the airport after midnight needed to get a cab to our accommodations. While I appreciate the attention to safety (and the curteous crew who obviously felt bad and were taking a lot of shit) we what was supposed to be a 3 hour flight ended up being 5 and there were no meals for sale,very limited snacks. We got one complimentary ,half can of juice and a bag of tiny bag spicy trail mix (labelled ranch) that i could not eat. After the delays we got an extra glass of complimentary cranberry juice. Which was amazing, but really did not cut it (from 5:15- midnight). By the end I was uncomfortable and starving! This was a radically disappointing experience in compared to the Ari Canada portion of the trip."
