Nor was it the over 3 hour delay of the second flight (itself two hours after the initial connection due to the first leg being late and then the initial second leg being cancelled). Flight attendants on the first porter flight were not simply talking to passengers. They were talking down to passengers. Customer service reps in Toronto, while understandably dealing with many complaints, thought a roll of the eyes would go unnoticed. It didn't, and the entire experience was unacceptable. So you know, the dinner I flew out for to celebrate one of my best friends wedding, I completely missed. Thanks Porter and Kayak."

Cons: "The Q400 is evidently old. The windows are so full of condensation that one can barely see anything through the fog. This is disappointing in any form of transport. One is told one's bag is so small it can be carried on board. But on arriving at seat 18A, one finds the bin above this row is filled with Porter supplies of some kind. Finding alternative room for the small bag is difficult. Especially when one is 92 years old. Something seems wrong with this arrangement, too."

Cons: "Travel home was a nightmare. I checked in. Went through security. Went to board and a glitch happened in their system with my layover. They checked me in 5 times and on the 6th a total meltdown. I was now a security issue. I've never been arrested or even have the slightest past. I am a thin woman carrying a banana bread and bagels, which I offered to relinquish as my personal item. They couldn't figure out the glitch in their system and didn't want the plan to be delayed so they started to let it begin the take off process. I asked, "WHAT ABOUT ME???" They said they'd put me on the next flight out. I knew it was canceled, so I told them that was a bad plan. They knew as well, but were trying to let the plane go without me. The main agent was awful. So rude and did not care if I was stuck in Canada all night for their technical issue from a 1pm flight. Some angel flight attendant overheard, put her foot down, hand wrote me a ticket and ran me on the plane. Got to my layover in Toronto. Spoke with a manager about the issues, she said they were all cleared up. Tried to board the plan, same thing happened again. No one in either airport knows why, but they all admitted it was an issue in their computer system and not actually with me."

Yet I was seated at the back next to another passenger?! I asked if I could move and was told I had to stay at the back to keep the plane balanced. I weigh about 100 pounds and the man next me surely weighed no more than 150. How in the world did we keep a plane with over 70 seats balanced? I was frightened and never got up imagining horrible things. To make things worse we hit turbulence on the descent and I had wondered if the lack of people or seating arrangements affected this. It was a bad flight and if weight or distribution had anything to do with it then the other seven passengers should have been rearranged accordingly. I have always been able to change my seat when flying alone. This caused me excessive anxiety and concern about the safety of this flight and plane. Cons: "No information or communication about bringing your own food or snacks on board. No food, snacks,entertainment or immigration forms were available. There was some food for purchase but if you didn't have a credit or debit card then you couldn't buy it. My mother was in a wheelchair waiting to board in Toronto and would have bought food to either eat there or carry on the plane but another passenger was severely reprimanded for getting out of her wheelchair and going to the bathroom, so my mother was intimidated to stay seated and not go to the bathroom nor ask any questions as to if she could go and buy some food or snack to eat while she was waiting. Only juices were served. She was flying since 11 am and arrived at 9:30 pm without any food. The website as well as all emails should inform about luggage weight as well as food and entertainment. On a layover the attendants should be more cooperative with disabled passengers and allow them to use the bathroom as well as to go and buy food."

This caused us to miss our connection in Toronto. Air Canada then proceeded to rebook us on a flight leaving 2 days later. After an extended period of time, they finally rescheduled us for a flight to a different city in Europe and we had to catch another flight from there our final destination, Barcelona. The total additional travel time was extended by approximately 8 hours, causing us to lose the better part of our first day."

Cons: "I couldn't get through security without my bag but they didn't have a way to let me know it was lost so I almost missed my flight waiting on a bag that wasn't coming. There should have been an announcement to come to the Air Canada desk. There wasn't. When I got to Charlotte, there was No One at the Air Canada desk to report my lost bag. Thank goodness those from United were able to provide me with a phone number to call. The phone attendant was not a native English speaker and made it incredibly difficult to file a claim. I'm still waiting for my bag."

Pros: "I liked the Air Canada flight crew. They were all helpful and friendly. The flight was late leaving Toronto due to Florida weather issues and the crew did a good job keeping us informed and as comfortable as possible during the wait."
Cons: "Very little room in the seats. I am a man 5' 9" tall so I am average height. I barely had leg room and even less so when the person in front of me reclined his seat. Made the 3 hour trip feel a little uncomfortable. I miss the "back of the seat" entertainment system although the option through Air Canada's app worked fine,"
Cons: "Air Canada cancelled my boarding pass even though I made it to the gate before boarding started and refused to put me back on the flight. Then they lost my bags. The Toronto airport is a mess - avoid it if at all possible."
Pros: "Despite the original delay with the flight boarding staff was efficient at getting us on the plane as quickly as possible."
Cons: "The second part, from Toronto to Houston was the pitts. First of all they called me to the gate way before the boarding time and so I was a bit worried but when i got there there was nothing, they just confirmed I arrived from Montreal. This was strange and so I got a bit stressed as to why they had a called me and made me rush in the first place. Anyway, minor compared to the rest of the experience. The flight boarding was late, then an unscheduled stop in memphis for extra gas, then a tech problem that needed maintenance kept on on the ground. We finally made it to our destination 2 hours late. Most fellow passengers missed connecting flights and because we got out of the airport after midnight needed to get a cab to our accommodations. While I appreciate the attention to safety (and the curteous crew who obviously felt bad and were taking a lot of shit) we what was supposed to be a 3 hour flight ended up being 5 and there were no meals for sale,very limited snacks. We got one complimentary ,half can of juice and a bag of tiny bag spicy trail mix (labelled ranch) that i could not eat. After the delays we got an extra glass of complimentary cranberry juice. Which was amazing, but really did not cut it (from 5:15- midnight). By the end I was uncomfortable and starving! This was a radically disappointing experience in compared to the Ari Canada portion of the trip."
