As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills."

I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

The aero plane are old with little maintenance. The entertainment systems never work broken trays . Customer service is equal to none

The seats were good but the screen was not working for most of the passengers. There was no fruit juices served. They even forgot to give me my meal. I asked for a face mask, they said will check and no one came back to me with an update. To an aged lady they told to stand up, come out and grab the cold drink by herself instead of serving her on the seat.

Again this is for a paid seat and they proudly say it’s the same issue for atleast 40% of the seats"

I am an experienced flyer and I realize that weather was not good but the plane was rattling like it should have been taken out of commission long ago. We made an emergency reroute to some city in the north and were kept on the plane for 2 hours before the crew told us anything. When we finally made it back to Delhi, the Air India workers managed to be the most incompetent and unhelpful workers ever. They lied to us 6 times about why we were not issued new boarding passes and tried to pass the blame to everyone else. I thought the customers were going to riot because they angered so many people."

The male employee grappled my passport and boarding pass and insisted that I follow him and check through the Indian Passport immigration line though I am an American citizen with a US passport. Then taken quite some distance to a back room where two male employees stared at me and wrote down my passport number and name in a log book. My passport and boarding pass were repeatedly taken and held without my permission. After checking thru customs, I was among the first to arrive at the designated gate 36 which was initially closed . When boarding time arrived, I was among the first on line to board. I was again pulled out of line and prevented from boarding until way past the last boarding call with no clear explanation. I am a 72 year old RN and was suffering from severe bronchitis and a head injury sustained on acsidewalk In the town of Solan while searching fur an ATM. No accommodations were provided for my age or physical condition. The unexplained, rude and cruel conduct by Air India employees constituted elder abuse. I feel an apology and a refund are the least that Air India needs to provide considering their cruel behavior. I would advise all seniors especially women to avoid flying Air India."

Overall, Air India is going from bad to worse and, unless the guaranteed jobs are taken away, things won't improve."
Pros: "Turbulence, higher than usual, lasting for an hour at a stretch. Plane dipped in altitude suddenly more than a handful of times. Plane was about to land at SFO, pilot suddenly decided not to, with sudden and accelerated plane movements. A kid next to me was thrown half a foot from the seat. Following this when the plane landed it was continuously 'wobbling'. This kind of piloting is not expected of a long distance passenger aircraft. Lost my trust in Air India as a safe flight. Will highly not recommend Air India to family and friends."

The exhaust system is not effective enough for foul smell to be sucked out of the toilet. The Aircraft is very old and needs to be upgraded. The toilets were at the end of the aircraft so every service was interrupted by people wanting to use the washroom. If the service will tale 1 hour out of 2 and half hour flight you cant expect people not to go to the washroom. An elderly gentleman was asked to sit on the crew seat near emergency exit. It was difficult for him to eat. A group of 7 people and were separated in seats and they were not handled properly as they created a chaos in the flight. They were a big disturbance to all."
