It was typical of experience you get these days.
All met expectations.
mets basic expectations
Flight attendants are kind of rigid. I look at this as being in hospitality business rather than just being there for safety. I compare them to hotel staff who are pleasant to greet and just try to make the trip/stay pleasant. Don't see it in United. I think it has regressed to almost like "robots".
Flight was great. No hassles.
Having to pay for direct TV. Bring back peanuts
The crew was polite. Flight was late leaving Charlotte but landed on time in Newark.
Passenger next to me didn’t fit in his seat and used 1/3 of mine. Not ok for 14-hour trip.
Very cold plane
One of the crewmembers (regrettably, I did not catch his name) was incredibly kind when I moved seats to accommodate a couple that wanted to sit together. He really made this flight great.
Seats were comfortable but the row I moved to did not allow me to recline.
Ease of service and efficiency.
Movie selection was great! Thank you for having a vegetarian food option.
Online checkin failed, airport kiosk couldn't handle how names are written on Japanese passports (it's English) and had to wait 2 hours on the line to check in because they were down to 1 agent toward the end. Made it to the gate just as boarding started. Very limited entertainment options for modern day airlines. Uncomfortable seating.
The flight attendant was super super nice and helpful
Had to rush to catch this connecting flight. At boarding time, which we just made, the previous flight had just landed and people starting to deplane. All we would have wanted was an accurate announcement versus an unfriendly feeling from the gate agent
AA claimed the overhead storage was full and took my carry-on. Except I walked by at least 15 spots that easily would have fit my bag. They made us pay $50 to check-in luggage, but then didn't bother to put the bags on our flight. They also tried to charge us twice for the privilege of checking bags. They had no flights that would get us home on the same day, then claimed that since 12 hours had elapsed, we had to repay to check bags. During the flight, they had non stop commercials for their credit card. Ugh
I like that American Airlines did not charge for my carry-on. It was a short flight but we also received a snack and a drink for free. That was nice. I will definitely consider American airline before others when I plan my next trip.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
