New York Hotels in East Harlem

Pros: Very comfortable beds and clean. The bathroom, floor, etc were all spotless.

Cons: The third floor was tricky-up two flights of stairs with luggage.

Pros: Hostel is close to Subway station, staff is very nice and frinedly, close to centra park and green and red subway station. Near Subway is big supermarket.

Cons: - Everytime you want to turn on/turn off aircondition you have to go to reception ask for it cause zapper they dont let in the room. Evytime you feel hot/cold you have to go to reception and again back. - Room were too small. We were three person, when we put luggage on the floor we could be just in the bed or in the bathroom... there were no place. No wardrobe, just few hangs

Cons: This place is not accommodating their furniture was broken proper being in the room and now being charged for items I didn't break.

Pros: I liked the location and the willingness of the not overly friendly person and the tiny desk to get me a key card when I didn't get the text facilitating keyless entrance. She also helped with one of my bags.

Cons: I left my largest bag at the desk because after walking up a flight of stairs to get into the building, I wasn't up for walking up two more flights to get to my room. The room was quite warm, which is, for me, always better than cold. No tub, just a shower, but clean and comfortable. I would stay there again on a trip when I had no luggage to carry. The stairs wore me out.

Pros: Good location

Pros: The easy check in process, the price is right, good size room, comfortable bed and bathroom clean. Located in Harlem, NY. Has a coffee maker in the room, i did not have breakfast or get a chance to go out to the backyard, but it's a nice decorated area.

Cons: the central air did not work, so they had a window ac. The parking isn't convenient, it's street parking.. but i guess it's understandable as it's on a side street.

Pros: Very dirty and stinky don't never go to this place Park Avenue North don't never go to Park Avenue North they Auto Park Avenue

Cons: It was a nasty dirt it was a nasty dirty plays I didn't like nothing very dirty place

Cons: The bathroom door knob was broken on the inside. The bathroom door would not close. The pillows were flat and grossly stained; no pillow protectors on them. The bed had no firmness and appeared to have no springs in the middle. The sheets looked and smelled unclean; long dark hairs, stains, etc. I was told during check in to use the black towels for makeup removal because if a stain was found on the white ones I would be charged. The walls were thin; you could hear people next to you and above you. Every time the front door closed our walls and door to our room rattled; loud and startling as was the train next to the building that ran all night long. There were no plastic cups for the water cooler. We did not stay a second night and they refused to refund us.

Pros: Cleanliness, supplies.

Cons: Great experience. Clean, neat and quiet. Enough amenities to be comfortable for the night.

Pros: The property was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but we weren’t there very much. The beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. I liked that it had wood floors vs carpet. If you are looking for an affordable option in NYC and don’t mind not being in the heart of everything, I would recommend this place. We enjoyed it because we got to see a part of the city we normally wouldn’t have seen. The subway ride was not bad and took us to everywhere we needed to go. There was a small grocery down the block and a gas station across the street.

Cons: I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but when we first arrived I was a little concerned about the area. The walk to the subway at 125 & Lexington was not the best....lots of homeless people. One man was passed out with vomit on him. The walk to the subway at 125 & Lennox was a little nicer. After we were there a day we became much more comfortable walking around. We would take the subway home at night and walk back. At no point did I feel fearful for my life and the people hanging out either ignored you or offered. “Good Evening”. I was traveling with my husband and 2 sons: 11 & 14. During the day I was very comfortable walking around. Probably wouldn’t want to walk home at midnight but not a lot of places that I would. :)

Pros: Location , room and the place is wonderfull
