Pros: The hotel is a landmark. It is in a great location and gives great access to Central Park. It is also not too far of a walk to the theater district. The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: The staff seemed indifferent. The revolving door wasn't working, so we had to go in through side doors. The doormen (sometimes as many as three) just stood around watching, not helping at all with the doors, which were heavy. Breakfast in the lobby: we were seated and I asked the purpose seating us to bring coffee. He said the server would be right with us. After 5 minutes there was no server to been seen. Why didn't the person seating us just bring us coffee? Very mediocre attitude. This hotel was not at all worth the price we paid.

Pros: Everything was great about the Plaza! The hotel staff was so nice. They were always asking us how we were doing and if we needed anything. Our room was amazing! Very luxurious! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The mini bar was filled with all kinds of drinks and snacks. I think our favorite part was the bathroom. The walk in shower with the huge shower head was ginormous! The tub was rather large too! Everything was very very clean. It felt like it was brand new and we were the first people to stay in it! The hotel location was great also. Central Park and a subway station is right across the street so it was quite easy going to and from the Yankees games. We will definitely stay at the Plaza again!

Pros: As an interior designer, I have an appreciation to the level of design and details. The room was small, but because of thoughtful use of space, it functioned really well for our needs, plus with an expansive corner of floor to ceiling glass, it still felt open and airy. Great views. We loved hanging out in the public spaces, listening to live jazz. Only disappointment was that the roof deck was not open during our stay. Would have liked to have experienced that. The breakfast toast available in the lobby was amazing.
Cons: The HVAC system was loud. I did not sleep well the first night because of it. The entry doors are huge and heavy. While the ADA automatic door buttons were helpful, a door man would be a nice addition to help guests in and out of the Lobby with luggage. The elevators were slow. At times there was a line to get on the elevator on main level.

Found out the day we left that all we needed to do was ask housekeeping. That information should have been provided on check in. Bedspread was dirty. Pull out couch didn't have sheets.

Pros: The is the one of the best locations in the theater district. Most of the major theaters are located within three blocks of the hotel. The same day ticket office is located yards away from the hotel so you can get up early to get your ticket and then return to your room. The hotel entrance is right off times square. The hotel is clean large and and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Many family oriented dining establishments are nearby as well as easy access to the subway and various tour operators.
Cons: The hotel is large and is used as a convention facility. So if you do not like large crowds and being in the location that is busy and very active during the evening hours, this is not the place for you.

It's an older hotel, but we were never in the room but to sleep. Like I said, perfect for us! They even gave us a roll away bed whem we needed a solution.

Subway doesn't get any closer, entrance is immediately outside lobby door. Gym was spacious, if you need that. Didn't try the bar/restaurant, just too many other choices in Manhattan. For that matter, nice bathroom and comfy bed is all we needed, as we weren't looking to waste time sitting in the hotel.

The toilet was covered in urine, the office chair in the room was missing wheels, the ice machine was broken, the carpet was filthy, and there appeared to be a transvestite rave going on at 4:30 in the afternoon.

Pros: The hotel is very well-located. It's close to Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Grand Central Station, MOMA and Central Park. All these are a short walk away. Saks 5th Avenue and Rockefeller Plaza are across the road, the Apple Store and Bloomingdales are also close. It's not quite so well-located for the Guggenheim and the Frick Galleries. There is a much longer walk to these places, but if you don't mind taking a taxi or an Uber, it's fine. The main public spaces have their original 1920s decoration and are lovely! We got a great value deal, which made the hotel a steal!
Cons: The bathroom in our standard room was tiny. Literally not enough room to swing a cat. Not good enough for a hotel of this quality. The main bedroom was easily large enough to make the bathroom bigger. It's possibly the smallest bathroom I've ever had in any hotel. I'm not sure it's possible to make it any smaller and still be functional. Decoration of the corridors and rooms is not up to the standard of the entrance lobby, and the bars. It's not bad, it's just pretty characterless by comparison not only with the rest of the hotel, but also of comparable hotels. It's tasteful, well-maintained and spotlessly clean, but just very... characterless... There is no free wifi! I was amazed at this. This is one thing that you expect at every hotel, even cheap ones. Trying to charge $15 for it is a rip-off. Unfortunately, the room was noisy. You expect traffic noise in New York, and you get used to it. You don't expect constant plant noise from the Kitchen. If we had spent longer in the room, this may have been a real problem for us. The staff are great. the hotel is well-staffed and they are all professional, courteous and attentive. Based on our short stay, I would definitely recommend the Lotte Palace.

The knobs on the shower were backwards and the facet was slanted so it was sometimes difficult to turn the shower off. This doesn't take away from the fact that the shower felt absolutely amazing!

Pros: The staff was very accommodating. My son had to rehearse for a concert he was playing in and the Manager allowed him to use a Ball Room that was not in use. We greatly appreciated that. Also, the evening reception was very nice.

Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect, On the edge of Central Park minutes from 5th avenue shopping. There are some restaurants nearby too. If you are interested in doing something touristy the horse and carriage rides are right outside.
Cons: Where to begin. I was only there for one night and it was extremely expensive. On top of that they charged me a $35.00 "facilities fee" which was for WiFi, cocktail happy hour, and other amenities. I used the WiFi which worked fine but the cocktail happy hour was a disaster, very disorganized and the staff wasn't super pleasant. I wish I had the choice of adding on these extras. Also, upon check-in the key machine was not working so I was not authorized a room key. Each time I needed to go into my room I had to ask someone; one time I was waiting in the hallway for 30 minutes until someone showed up. It could've been a better experience.

Cons: They ignored my original reservation of a King executive suite and put me in a double room. This room had gum on the floor, the bathroom looked dirty, the carpet was disgusting and discolored, overall it needed to be updated. I complained and they ignored my reservation, again, and put me in another double room. This room was slightly updated, but still not what I paid for! After returning a third time, they finally gave me the King room I paid for, but it was almost as disgusting as the first room. Luckily, I had business meetings and was not in my room very much, but it made the end of a long day very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Pros: This is the 3rd hotel of the Morgan group that I have visited and unfortunately they tend to repeat the same mistake, or probably is their business model that doesn't jive with me. The lobby and the location were the best part of the hotel. I would also like to mention their staff: warming and friendly.

I had hairs on my pillow and in 2 sheets. The hallways had trays full of used dishes and dirty silverware till late in the evening.So their cleaning stuff is clearly sloppy and not managed at all. On top of that the hotel is pretty noisy due to a club they run downstairs, thus you should bring some earplugs with you if you wanna sleep. Lastly I found a cockroach in their gym (yikes). Pros: The room was impeccable, with cool decoration and great location, you can choose to go to a local market, a variety of restaurants, or just walk around Central Park. Food service was great (CJ was the sweet guy who brought my breakfast), and if you miss the kitchen hrs they'll recommend you a few places that'll deliver food to your room. Great bar with good bartenders(ask for Eric). Also ask for the total price of each service you request so you know what you'll be charged for, overall really good staff.

Pros: We have stayed at this hotel for many years, first as chaperones for a high school choral group that came every year when it was still the Milford Plaza, and now as retired adults who come to visit our son who lives in the city. We love the location, and the recent remodels add a very cool feeling to the hotel. Also, we are usually able to get good prices when we stay here.

I know all the rooms are smaller, but this one was very tight. Also, we ended up with a double bed! I didn't even know they used those in hotels any more! Another comfort issue (and we have noticed this in the past two visits we have made) is that the roll of toilet paper dispenser is located in such a way that it makes it difficult to sit down on the toilet! It hits you in the side of the leg. Other than those issues, we have always enjoyed our stays.

Pros: The Express checkout is convenient. For the price, it was a decent stay somewhere mid-town in a pinch.
Cons: The towels and sheets didn't smell very good. The bathtub wasn't the cleanest either.

Pros: The hotel is in a fabulous location in the middle of the theater district. Once you step into the hotel the city smell is gone and replaced by a blast of fragrance. The lobby is wide and decorated nicely. The elevator system is very efficient with elevators going to certain floors. The room was comfortable enough for the 3 of us.
Cons: They never have enough people working at the desk. There are always lines throughout the day. A desk for questions would be helpful. For a hotel with 1,331 rooms they need more than 2-3 people assisting guests.

Pros: The hotel was cool, nicely decorated, and the maid service was excellent.
Cons: It was my fault for making the reservation under my name, but we realized this the day before. I called and they added my husband name, no problem. Well when my husband arrived they told him I had to be there ( I was flying in later that night), so I call and they say his name is in the reservation and they don’t know why he can’t check in. I ask to speak to the front desk. 3 HOURS and multiple calls and multiple run arounds, still not talking to to the front desk; a person at the call center tells me he checked already! I talk to my husband who nis sitting on a bench inside with my two daughters sleeping in his lap. I tell him to try and check in, they check him in. A breakdown in communication led to a rough start.

Pros: Great hotel in the middle of everything, next to subway line. Inside hotel is the City Kitchen where you have a "food court" with many renamed local restaurants. Included breakfast was so so, not the best but good. Very clean room, they cleaned our room every day. Eight elevators, but always very busy.
Cons: Extremely small room, very noisy on 7th floor (at night all trucks and constructions work and you hear everything in the room). Thanks God we got the "Deluxe City view" because it was supposed to be a bit bigger. The view is not as good as other in the area but its ok for the price. One night we found a small worm in the ice from the ice machine. They should have better beds. But over all its the best option for the $$.

Cons: They hit us with an unexpected 'facility fee' of almost $50 - for the new total price we could have stayed other locations we know that offer way more value for the money. Somebody's bait and switch - maybe our friends at Kaya..........?

Cons: Everything, poor service, not clean, there was hair in the bath, a mouse in my room, rooms need updating. Cues to check in are rediculous. I can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and will never go again or recommend to anyone. The only positive is the location, and to be honest I would rather stay further out and get a taxi into the city than stay here again

Cons: this was the worst room I have ever stayed in during my life. Please refer to NYC health department and have them check the conditions of room#1512. the carpet was wet, room smelled like sewer, filthy. OMG-the bath room. I was really surprised that NYC is allowing these rooms to be rented. in addition, they did not have three beds in the room and end up bringing a cot and that took them 3 hours and more than 5 phone calls and 3 visits to the front desk. we considered moving out the minute we entered the room

Pros: The location and convenience was the only thumbs up. Walking distance from Penn station, Time square and the Empire State.
Cons: Very old, you could feel springs on beds and would topple over a bit if you roled over on your side. A/C didn't work properly, the tub looked like murder was committed in it with chips of the ceramic missing thru out. The walls are so thin, you can hear everyone down the hall and in every direction. Needless to say, will not be staying there again...

Pros: The bed is very comfortable and the location is excellent. I stayed for one day only, so can't say much more.
Cons: Because the hotel is old, a lot of its structure is rusted. It should definitely be renovated. The bedroom is small, but clean. The aged look is interesting, but they should change furnitures as soon as possible! It wouldn't be my first choice of hotel if I had to come to the city again.
