Pros: Front desk staff was very accommodating.
Cons: The phone operators for reservations were very rude. I spoke to several ones during the week before my stay. Only the last one I spoke to was helpful. I ended up double booking because I was told by a staff member earlier in the week that they couldn't find me on record of having booked a room so I ended up booking another. When it came close to check in, I was told that I indeed had booked the initial room. The last lady I spoke was very understanding and cancelled that initial room since I booked the second one through a third party.

Pros: Nice location for nightlife and history tours.
Cons: I receive a monthly check from the VA for a service connected disability -- my ONE night stay cost more than that entire check! And for what? I received no continental breakfast; parking is $50 a NIGHT; and my room with a king-sized bed was tiny. No idea if internet was included, as I was not given a password. I wanted to sit in my room and prepare for a speech I had to give, but, my absurdly expensive room did not come with a chair besides an ergonomically nightmarish desk chair. I had a ton of clothes because I was there for a three day wedding, so my hands were full. I received no bell-service, carried all my stuff to my room, and the keys didn't work; so I had to lug everything back to the front desk. Had to iron shirts for the wedding, the ironing board looked like it was bought from a yard sale. For the cost of this room, I expect quality amenities. Also, the bouncer for the rooftop bar, who looked a like a teenager, watched one of the wedding guests get assaulted, laughed, and did nothing. Honestly, we should've called the police. Posh and ostentatious, with little reward. Go somewhere else.

Pros: As with all Kimpton Hotels, the decor is amazing & very much in-line with my aesthetic. We also really enjoyed the location of the hotel; we stayed over 2 very nice days & walked 30 minutes down Passyunk and over to the far edge of Rittenhouse multiple times. We tend to spend most of our time out-and-about, but the time spent in the hotel was very nice. We requested a room away from the elevator, which they did not oblige. We were essentially directly next to the elevator bank, however it ended up being quite. That said, we were there on a Monday night, I'm sure the weekends are a bit rowdier.
Cons: Bed was not very comfortable (for me, the BF loved it), the outlets stopped working in the bathroom in the middle of my blow out & could not be fixed, the internet did not work the day we checked in. Also...there is not much follow-through from the staff; we had requested a later check-out that they never acknowledged until we were physically there and brought it up ourselves again during check-in. We asked for a room away from the elevator bank, but were put in one directly next to it. Tried to order room service & the person on the phone said they would have to call back to 'confirm the order' but never called back..the food appeared 20 minutes later, cold. Negatives aren't the end of the world, but there are definitely some things we weren't thrilled with. But the staff, including the valet, were lovely & very friendly.

Ready, willing and able to give excellent customer service including: • Always pleasant and smiling • Providing accurate information on where to go--restaurants, ice-cream places, etc. • Took a personal interest in you--asked for and called you by your name The staff as a whole was generally quite pleasant. • View from the room to the park was great!
Cons: • Room was dusty. • Bathroom shower had no door, and so the floor and bathroom door always got wet. • First room was large but was for a disabled person. WHen we changed the room, we were given a comparatively very small room. When we asked if we could get a larger room, we were told that there were none except the rooms for disabled persons.

Pros: We love the staff as they are professional and fun. They offer free happy hour and coffee in am! This is a big deal and makes people feel welcomed. The rooms are stylish and cozy! We had a 2 month and 14 month old children who loved it too!

Pros: I called ahead to let them know I am bringing my dog and was incredibly surprised to have been offered dogs bowls and a dog bed placed in the room prior to me checking in. From then on, the hotel made sure to provide excellent service for anything we needed. The room was gorgeous and have really comfortable beds! I'm not one to sleep in, but I didn't have an issue catching a few more hours of shut eye. I highly recommend staying here.

Pros: We got the corner king spa room and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious, and the views made the room look even bigger. The bathroom was on point, and the big soaking tub was great. We usually stay closer to Rittenhouse square but we didn't mind this location too much, there is tons to do in this part of downtown! Pros: Outstanding. Like all Kimpton hotels, the accommodations are uniquely hip and utterly luxurious. What stood out, above all though, was the customer service; the finest I’ve experienced to date. The staff is gracious and accommodating. They go the extra mile (and beyond) to make their guests comfortable. Also, the Japanese soaking tub, which sounds like one of those gimmicky add-ons, is life changing experience in itself. I cannot overstate the indulgent pleasure.

Pros: I was very impressed with the restored lobby and the finishes throughout the hotel. The original design aesthetic from the 1930's creates this luxurious feel and it is carried through the interior design from lobby to the guest rooms. The location is unbeatable, with subways, restaurants, and entertainment minutes away. The gym facilities were definitely nicer than many hotel fitness facilities I've seen in my travels. The staff at every interaction was helpful and friendly. The lobby for drinks has a great vibe, too! Overall a great experience.

At 10:15 we had a hotel staff member knock on our door to tell us we had noise complaints and to keep it down!!! There was also a note under our door say pleas keep it down the walls are very thin!!! Really??? 10:15??? And they want Philly to be known for the city of LOVE but only if you whisper! Disappointed the staff actually came up to tell me that. I will not be staying there again if I am doing anything but sleeping!

Pros: I love all the little extras that the Sofitel in Philadelphia provides… Waters that you don't pay for and offers of more water on request. A really comfortable chair to sit at at the desk, multiple outlets for electronic things, a good blow dryer, a fabulous bed for comfort, great decorating and design that is amazing.
Cons: I love the amazing service and delicious food like the squash soup that Sofitel offers in their dining area. I appreciated that when I asked about my boarding pass being printed out Anthony from the front desk immediately went there and did it within 30 seconds for me. The staff, from the maid service to the front desk to the waitresses to the hostess to the Bellman, are all incredibly friendly warm helpful but appropriate.

Pros: Having stayed before in a different city, I was really excited to stay at the Sofitel in Philadelphia. Sadly, the luxury hotel failed to provide any kind of world class hospitality that I am used to from this brand.
Cons: Waiting 30 minutes for my car to be taken out of Valet. Having a Valet tip come right out of my account without my approval. Extremely uncomfortable bedding. No running water due to a shut off, but wasn't told about this until after checking in and essentially not having another option to book another hotel. Phone did not work. Cable remote did not work. Concierge service was unknowledgeable of what the hotel offers.

Pros: My fiance and I visited for the holiday weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room ammentities were updated. Great views of city (of your on the right side of the building). king size bed was nice to have although it wasn't especially soft. Room was cleaned every afternoon for when we returned. They have decent free wine ever day between 6 and 7. The hotel lobby and elevators and hallways were nicely decorated, full of art.
Cons: Room size was just average, didn't have much if any more room compared to other hotels. The shower was nothing special, same size and same shower head I would find at a 2 or 3 star hotel. Nothing was inclusive except for a few toiletries you may have forgotten at home. We had a weird Brown smudge on one of our end table drawers that room service had to clean up. Only 4 elevators for 25 floors of rooms was bad, if your in the top floor like we were we had to stop at 4-5 floors going up or down before we arrived at our room or the lobby. Ice is Only on one flone which is extremely inconvenient. These negatives were a big let down, overshadowing the positives for the price you pay.

Pros: I liked the fact that the hotel is centrally located to shops, dining, and entertainment in Philly. We specifically stayed here to celebrate my birthday at nearby Amada, a tapas restaurant (Excellent food by the way!). A big plus was that there was no additional fees for having our dog stay. The hotel reminded me of the hotels in Northern Europe I've stayed in with the rooms being designed with very clean lines, wood, and metal. I liked the lobby area with the fireplace and hanging out with other people staying there with their dogs. Room was facing an alley way and it was very quiet. Bath was adequate size with full tub and shower. Definitely coming back and staying here for the Spring when the sun comes back out after all this snow!!!!! Good value overall.

Pros: Absolutely LOVED staying here. My boyfriend and I stayed here after the marathon. Bottled water when we arrived, champagne and the staff upgraded our room! We got there 3 hours earlier for check-in and because our Queen room wasn't ready yet and my boyfriend was visibly exhausted from the marathon, they gave us a King room that was ready. The rooms are the perfect size, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with amenities, and room service was fantastic. Free wine social hour by the fire was incredible. Hotel is centrally located with a lot of great food surronding. We'lol be staying here anytime we're in Philly!

Many of our booked rooms were not ready by hotel's check in time of 3 pm. Room and bathroom very small. Hotel was full during our stay; many long waits and delays with 4 elevators available.

Cons: 1) Room was extremely small and uncomfortable. 2) AC Fan cycled on and off every 15 seconds or so keeping me awake during most of my first night there. I reported this to the front desk and asked that it be fixed, but was not. I had to turn off the AC the next two nights in order to sleep. 3) We had booked several rooms for a wedding party. Only 1 was available for check in at the advertised check in time. 4) Only 4 elevators for a 25 story building made getting from floor to floor very difficult. For example: getting coffee and ice (each available at only 1 location in whole hotel) took an unacceptably long time due to long elevator waits. 5) Staff was not very helpful. One of our guests left an item in another room. I had to follow up with lost and found 3 times before I was able to get it back. 6) in short...while I've stayed in many hotels in my life, this is one of the worst experiences I have had. Next time I will stay in a Red Roof or similar....my experiences there have been much better. This was certainly the poorest "value for dollar" that I've ever experienced.

The staff at Hotel Palomar was fantastic- they quickly and easily added names to the reservation and a bottle of prosecco and lovely note was in the room when they arrived. The staff actually cared that we had a pleasant, comfortable stay. We asked the staff for recommendations on moderately priced restaurants close-by and were pleased with our choice from their list. Our room was comfortable, quiet, pleasantly decorated and well stocked with adequate amenities. This is our third year staying at the Double Tree for the annual Philadelphia Flower Show and we have never been disappointed.

I was given a room accessible for persons with disabilities, which I was fine with, but was not asked by the check-in staff first. The only downside to the accessible room was that the doorless, tubless shower got water all over the bathroom floor and soaked the bathmat regardless of how I adjusted the shower-head. Really, these are just minor inconveniences from an otherwise great hotel. Would definitely come back.

Clerk: "No, it is $30" Me: "So, I reserved a room but it's not ready after your hotel's published check in time, and you want ME to pay YOU so I can check into a room now?" Clerk: "Hmmm. Let me look again, maybe something else is available. Oh yes, there is an open room. I'll check you in now". How many people would have paid the extra $30? Probably many would have. Seemed shady to me that she was able to find an available room after I declined the upgrade. I felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode where Jerry reserved a rental car and they don't have his car available. Instead they charged me 80$ for two nights of parking(again i was there for only 8 hours) and then to add insult to injury they damaged my car which i didnt realize until after i left because i was in a hurry to make a meeting. I have called them 6 times and left them 3 separate messages to return my phone call to no avail. I have never been to a hotel that looked so great but preformed so poorly on all accounts. I would have rather stayed at a holiday in express.

Cons: Unorganized. Didn't have us on the maids schedule so she thought the room was vacant. They lost track of our car (valet parked) and took 45 min to get it. Messed up our dates so that they checked us out a day earlier than we had scheduled. They fixed all of these things graciously. The valet parking attendants on one (of three) days were very annoyed to be doing their job. The room was tired, but clean enough. The refrigerator didn't work so we had to keep ice buckets to keep my son's milk cool.

Cons: I did not like how my room seemed like no one even checked it. The light switches coming into the room were not connected to anything, the smoke detector was dangling from its wires. The outlet next to the bed wasn't even connected to the wall so when I went to pull out my charger I pulled out the outlet as well. The heater in the bathroom also looked old, and stained. And the bed sheets had rips in them. The the amount of money that I spent on that one person room, I would have expected that it would have been a little better looked after.

Cons: This hotel is unsusuccessfully trying to be a luxury hotel, which it does look like. Looks aren't everything though. The way you're treated by the staff is most important in a luxury hotel. This where the Warwick falls flat on its face. The "doormen" never acknowledged us going in or out. When the bellman showed us to our room, we asked where the ice machine was, instead of filling our ice bucket, he showed us where we could get our own ice--pretty classy guy. Now for the maid service: When we showered the first morning, there ware only two hand towels, one of which we had to use as a bath mat. My husband asked one of the maids on our floor for a couple more hand towels. Her reply was that she had none! We had to call housekeeping to ask for extra hand towels and a bath mat. When our room was done that morning, we got a bath mat, but no hand towels. They also failed to replace our coffe, coffee cups and drinking glasses. We were givien an hour extension for check out, but our maid knocked on our door three times to ask when we were checking out. All three times she knocked on the door were before noon! If Radison wants to run this hotel as a high-end hotel, they need to actually train there entire staff how to serve their guests.

Cons: This stay (our 4th, but first since it's no longer a radisson) we encountered a MAJOR problem at 4am, and with two young children to be displayed in the middle of the night without our belongings was awful. The night staff and cleaning staff were great but the manager on duty was unbelievably awful, as if we inconvenienced her when her shift started at 8 -- 4 hours after we started dealing with the issue. Instead of commiserating with awful circumstances and asking how we could be helped to be comforble, she mostly left us to or own devices to figure out clothing, food, and basics for two little children who'd been up all night, and had to be pressured to provide basic information about a plan for us to be able to leave. The hotel clerk had given them the keys to someone else's occupied room! The next morning, someone opened the door to my husband's and my room while I was sleeping. I called out my husband's name and the person closed the door. My husband ran out of the bathroom and checked the hall, but no one was there. Thank goodness we had closed the extra security slider so they could only open the door about an inch. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened. After that, we were anxious the whole morning until checkout. Thank goodness our stay was only one night.

Pros: My wife is from the Philly suburbs and we like to take a trip down to Philly for a night each year in January to have something to look forward to after the holidays are over. We've previously stayed at the Sofitel and enjoyed it, but the Radisson Blu Warwick was considerably less expensive for a one-night stay this go-round so we decided to switch it up. We had a really nice experience. Our room was comfortable, though did not have a view at all except for the run-down building directly adjacent to the hotel. That's to be expected when booking through a third-party vendor, I suppose. Beyond that, we enjoyed the place quite a bit. Nice lobby, nice staff, decent beers on draught at the hotel bar and they even gave us a couple of toothbrushes and toothpastes when we realized we lost ours. We'd definitely stay again!
Cons: The shower took a considerable amount of time to heat up to a comfortable temperature, so just keep that in mind before you jump in and rush through a lukewarm shower. The in-room refrigerator was a nice touch but it actually wasn't set to cool, which we didn't realize until our leftovers spent the night in it. Our room was about 40 feet down the hall from the elevator bank, but we could hear the ding they make when the elevator arrives pretty clearly.

Doorman older white haired was very rushed and had several people calling on him. He seems like a seasoned veteran, but why is he assigned/called from the FD to come from the front drive, pull stored luggage out inside, then we had to request a bellman who showed up a few minutes later to add the luggage to a bell cart and then take me upstairs doesn't make much sense operationally. No eye contact or name recognition he some how dropped off my bags without even stopping (doorman). At the time (slow time) several front desk employees could have done this task, passed on any tip, put the luggage on the cart and let us know the bellman would be right up so we could relax. Bellman was very nice when we arrived, he had nothing to keep the door open so I held the door, could have been a good time to go over the room options or thermostat as it was very cold in the room and outside.

Pros: The decor of the hotel is cute. It's different than the boring chain hotels. Modern boutique-like. Very cool but very welcoming. My favorite part was the Philadelphia inspired photos on the headboard. The staff was extremely helpful in getting us to our concert at the Wells Fargo Center. We were going to fight the traffic until the valet told us about the train - and it couldn't have been anymore convenient. Everything was just perfect.
Cons: We had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and the service was very slow even though there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. But the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly.

We arrived at the hotel with the intention of sightseeing and ended up being stuck in our room watching our dog because the policy doesn't state online that you have to stay with him at all times even if he's in a crate. This made us on able to benefit from our complementary breakfast since he was also not allowed in the dining area and the entire purpose of the trip was for a Valentine's Day getaway with my husband. It left us leaving the room individually and scrambling for last-minute plans. We did not get to enjoy our vacation the way we expected to and were even more upset that when we called to ask about the policy that we weren't informed in advance. Cons: When we arrived Saturday afternoon, there was no doorman to help with the bags. I ended up running into someone when I went to get a cart who was hanging out at the front desk talking. Also I was putting a stroller and there wasn't anyone to assist with holding the door open. Lastly, there were 2 weddings going on. From our room, we could hear the DJ until past 11:30 at night which isn't ok when you have small children and if you are a light sleeper.

As a gold member of SPG we were expected to be upgraded, but they just gave us the wrost room type. it’s very small and the window facing a feaking wall, make me feel like the whole room would had no window. Not only this, the pillow has a strong smell and I could not use it at all for the whole night. The front desk Staff was not friendly at all, we are SPG gold member, when asked her if they have our gold number or not, she said yes. But, it turns out they don’t have our gold number key in at all when we checked that later evening after dinner. We started to complain to their manager, been told it’s too late so they could not make any difference to us. That being said, this is not a pleasant stay with La Meridien in Philadelphia.

Pros: The location is perfect for getting around the city with easy walking distance to the city center. The staff was attentive and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The furniture and fixtures were all very new and modern while the building itself still had charming, old-fashioned architecture. Also, each floor has a filtered water dispenser and bottles that guests have access to 24/7.
Cons: I didn't mind that the room was small, but I felt like it was an inefficient use of space. There were no towel racks and nowhere in the bathroom to set any toiletries, bags, etc. The toilet was a very utilitarian public-style toilet that I thought clashed with the nicer fixtures and furnishings. We were only provided with one wash cloth and one hand towel, neither of which were replaced when the room was cleaned. Only one towel was replaced. We had to reuse the hand towel and bath mat, and request more wash cloths the next day. The rooms don't have their own irons, ironing boards, etc. but there is a large communal closet on each floor for guests to go get their extra things as needed. There is no continental breakfast. Very small elevators. You're definitely paying more for the location than you are for the amenities.

Some people complained about the two elevators, which is a bit odd but not so much so that you should be like the one guy I passed who was trying to figure out how to get out of the lobby (I mean he got in there in the first place, somehow). There's a big mall with a food court right across the street and all manner of fast food in the block between 15th-16th not to mention most everything you'd want to see or do is basically walking distance (under 1-1/2 miles - South Philly/Italian Market, Liberty Bell/Independence Hall, Eastern State, City Hall, Chinatown). I'd really recommend the hotel, and that you do walk places, don't take the tourist bus, you'll see a lot you wouldn't otherwise. Someone else complained about the parking, I had no issues, it's a city, you pay to park, and it's not like you're walking more than half a block (it is literally across the street). WiFi speed: 18-20MBps was what I got.
Cons: The staff while extremely polite were not really the most helpful, everything was "It's not my call" when it came to business. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops just to get my stay extended, and they had me put down $50 per night for incidentals (would've been $150 if I'd used cash). There's no mini-bar and I wasn't planning on ordering room service, so this made no sense to me.

Cons: I paid for a room with a courtyard view and was given one with a view of the Street. The towels were very starchy and itchy to use. The shampoo was very low quality and caused both my husband and I to have dry and itchy scalp. The bedding had some sort of stains that they tried to hide by adding an extra sheet on top. The room was also very small and almost crammed. Overall, it seemed like the cost was only for the Hilton name and not for the quality. I’ve paid less for better service and quality in other large cities.

It contained a single sink, and a separate make-up vanity (without a stool). The toilet and shower (no tub) were located through a separate door to the standard, camped hotel bathroom. Weird prioritize took of space, that made the suite feel awkward.

Pros: We had never been to Philadelphia and had no idea what expect. This hotel was elegent, clean and updated! At check in they gave us a piece of paper that had all surrounding restaurants and attractions all seperated by types of food or establishments. Then as an added bonus, the kind, helpful staff member at check in even put stars next to the best places to go to with kids. To make things more convenient the 1st morning we were there we were able to schedule a bus tour of Philadelphia right in the hotel lobby. This worked out great for us becsuse we only had one full day there and wanted to see as much as we could. So all this is great, but the best part is the LOCATION!! With in the hour that we arrived we deciedd to walk to get none other than a cheese steak. We walked the direction to Jims (which was suggested by the hotel staff and happens to be the best philly steak in town) and with in 2 blocks of the hotel the street transformed to a bustling city to a picturesque scene of 1700 brick houses, with trees canopying the the cobble stone streets. I walked to Starbucks in the morning from the hotel and walked right by where Benjamin Franklin had been buried and didn't even know it!
Cons: The parking garage is not connected to the hotel and if there is valet, we never saw it. There is a parking garage on the premises, but no entry directly inside the hotel to and from the garage.

Pros: We found all of the staff to be exceptionally friendly. In fact, pulling into the parking garage, we were welcomed by a grounds keeper! It was nice to be able to pull in and park temporarily out in front of the hotel lobby at check in, although it should be noted that parking is on 4th street, and not on Arch street. The location is great! you are only 2 blocks from Independence square, shopping, and restaurants. We were in town for the marathon, so it met all of our needs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
Cons: The room cleanliness could have been better. There were many hairs in the bathroom, including one on the floor mat/towel. There were red drink straws left under one of the beds, and hairs found in the drawers, but nothing to make me want to change rooms. We did not report these issues. We were on the second floor, and we were right above a bus stop, so we heard a little bit of street noise, but not too bad. My biggest complaint is there is not a differentiation between heater and air conditioning on the thermostat, you just set the temperature. Upon checking in it was set at 79 degrees, and it was hot. We could not get the room cool enough for our liking to sleep in the extremely soft beds. No microwave in the room, although you can use the microwave in the lobby. No refrigerator either.

My burger was burned and my fiancé asked for medium rare and got well done. We sent it back and the burgers still were pathetic and not good. We ate them anyway we were starving after traveling all day. Later that evening after returning from dinner out and a bit of shopping we went to the bar for a night cap and waited 20 minutes before anyone even spoke to us and then another 20 minutes to get a simple captain and Coke and a lemonade -- needless to say we walked out!

Cons: I didn't like the restaurant or the food. I told the waiter how awful the food was and he immediately took it off my check. I did not expect that at all. I was willing to pay for everything. I wish I had just gone to a restaurant outside of the hotel, but was on a time crunch.

Pros: This was a very convenient location to downtown Philadelphia. The front desk staff were very pleasant. The room was adequate. The bathroom was clean. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were perfect. In the morning, I went downstairs to get coffee and mentioned that the coffee pot in my room did not work. The woman behind the counter made a note of my room # and gave me free coffee. I was pleasantly surprised. The valet staff was friendly, courteous, and efficient.
Cons: The check-in process took way too long. When I got there, there was a line of about 20 people and only one person at the desk. I came back 45 minutes later. There were about 25 people on line but they finally added additional staff at the desk. The carpet in the room was dated and wrinkled in places -- creating a tripping hazard. The coffee pot did not work. The outlet in the bathroom did not work. We checked our luggage the last day to enjoy a few more hours in Philly, and the bell hop was grumpy.

Cons: I’d called a few days in advance to confirm my room and some details of the trip which went well. The hotel was accommodating over the phone. Upon arrival, none of the confirmed items were true. The room was dirty, other customers had received the same requests i made despite me checking in hours before them and the overall staff was rude about the process. I’ll find a Marriott next time.

Pros: The view from my room (717) was amazing. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I was attending a symposium at Drexel, so this hotel was within walking distance which was nice.
Cons: The hallways needed updating. The carpets were stained and needed replacing. Also the elevators, although there were 6, were frustrating. I arrived exhausted from my flight at around 10pm. All of the elevators were not moving but stopped on high level floors. There were 25+ people waiting and it look 3 elevators until I was able to get on, which took about 5 minutes or so. I was just ready to get to my room and to see 3 elevators not moving but on high level floors and having to wait for one to fill and dispatch before being able to signal for the next...and then again because the second was full... I just wish they were programmed to have 2-3 always programmed to return to the lobby. In a hotel that size there will always be guests in the lobby wanting to go to rooms

Cons: We stayed here following a stint at a similarly-classed hotel two blocks away that lacked Sheraton's brand recognition. We figured we were in store for a slight upgrade, or at least a lateral move. Instead, this was a substantial downgrade. The rooms were dingy (we saw two -- we figured the first room we were assigned to must be a dud, as there's no way this could be a standard Sheraton room -- but the second room was a dud, as well), with low ceilings and stains on the carpeting. Also, I used the gym: Overlooking the design, whereby hotel pool users walk through the gym for access, this, too, was poor. Also dingy with low ceilings. Unless they find a way to substantially compete on their price point, which is unlikely due to the nature of their branding image, there is about a 0% chance that I would stay here again.

Cons: I booked a room with a king size bed and received a room with two double beds which was not ideal for it just being me and my girlfriend. They told me valet parking would be cheaper then parking in the garage across the street and I am glad I checked because valet for two days would have costed me roughly 100 dollars and at the garage I paid 44. There was a band aid in the bathroom but other then that the room seemed to be cleaned okay. But there was no fridge and WiFi was 15 dollars a day.... honestly better off staying at a hotel that’s a little more expensive but comes with free parking and WiFi.

Cons: I booked my stay at the Sheraton Philadelphia in January 2014. Upon arrival in September 2014, I was told there was a problem with the reservation. "Misha" stated "there was a technical glitch on our end which we knew about in the Spring." When asked why I wasn't notified, "Misha" stated "We didn't have your information and it was an oversight on our part" Needless to say, I was not happy and did not stay at the Sheraton because they did not have a room for me. Misha's customer service skills were very poor, it doesn't help to say "I understand where you are coming from" when clearly she did not. She also had a deer in the headlights look when I questioned her about my reservation. Do not stay at the Sheraton Philadelphia.

Cons: Elevators were out of service and we were not notified until the night before our stay. This made it basically impossible to cancel and book another hotel due to the fact that the purpose of the trip was the Eagles home opener. We paid for a king but ended up sleeping in double beds because we didn't want to walk 9 flights of stairs.

Cons: This hotel was overall, quite dirty. The staff doesn't seem to want to be there, the the elevator (one was broken and sounded like this is pretty common) was insanely slow. Breakfast was pretty bad and they only refilled everything 10 minutes before shutting it down, leaving a lot of people frustrated.

The cops were called due to an altercation in he hall after midnight. i tried to call the front desk about it but my phone wasn’t connected to the wall so it just have just been for decoration. Pros: Staff really tried hard and were helpful but hotel is very rundown. 16 floors and out of 3 elevators only one worked. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus: scrambled eggs, bread, pastries, coffee, juice, cereal. The hotel was freezing but it was during the arctic freeze. First room heater on high but room freezing. Changed rooms and that heater was great. Rooms had irons, coffee maker and hair dryer. TV sucked, few channels, remote didn’t work, needed batteries, asked 3 times but never got. There is an airport shuttle but took many calls and lots of coaxing to get ride. Bad location lower south philly, subway 0.7 mile walk but was the only hotel under $300 that weekend so I was grateful for it.

Cons: The cleaning staff knocked on our door and screamed every morning. On the day of checkout it was a noon checkout and they knocked on the door until we got out as if we were getting evicted and yelled until we got out.

Pros: The staff was among the best I've dealt with at a hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. The free breakfast was good. The view was cool. The location was close to the sport arenas which was nice because we walked instead of paying $20 for parking to see a baseball game. Very nice desks and chairs in the rooms suggesting it is a buisness hotel.
Cons: Only one out of 3 of the ice machines were working and only one of 2 elevators were working. Notice there are a lot of floors in the hotel.

Cons: There was no hot water, we had to shower in cold water. We waited 1h15 at the airport for the shuttle and the driver was very impolite. The only positive thing is the restaurant on the other side of the road.
