Three hours on the tarmac before a four hour flight. I was hungry given the long wait, yet still had to pay for food service

Departure delay on a late night flight. Made us even later. Tired but got home.

I had planned to watch the Westjet entertainment for the entire flight however, because the seat mounted outlets in our row did not work.

Westjet forced me to put my carry-on baggage in check-in probably because I was assigned seat 23A (the last row seat), which had no cabin space, which is unfair. I wanted to carry on my luggage so that I don't have to wait at the airport for my luggage. Also, because there was no cabin space, I was forced to keep my laptop bag under the seat, which I didn't want to as I was carrying 2 laptops and charger. The airline should basically tell people that if you are assigned a last row seat, then you are not allowed a cabin baggage or a personal item.

We were late boarding, but it all worked out. So, no problem.

Not a bad flight but our priority tagged luggage was the very last to come down the carousel.

It was good but not comfortable seat with the long legged persons.

The flight itself was good, the departure process was a little chaotic but once on the plane it was fine. The carry on luggage amounts is ridiculous. My husband’s suitcase was left behind in Kelowna. We could see it sitting there with our airtag. It was put on the next plane 6 hrs later but it was not delivered until the next afternoon. Unfortunately we had a business meeting Friday morning so he had no change of clothing for that.

No problems here. WestJet does a good job, even on their short haul flights

Westjet cancelled the flight and I had to show up at the airport to rebook it, losing 2 days of my vacation, and no compensation, a crappy itinerary with no extra legroom which we paid for, no ability to use the lounge passes we paid for - basically a crappy experience. Not a reliable airline if you have a big trip planned.

Delayed by 2.5 hours. This happened previously on my flight from YOW to YVR on Dec. 26.2023. This is a terrible airline. The reason was there was lack of ground crew. This is a known event. AVOID PORTER AIRLINES IF YOU CAN. There is a reason half the plane was empty.

The airline arrival at the downtown airport is a big plus.. Food and beverage was excellent. Their non weather related cancellation is horrible. Overall I gave the airline 7 over 10 Tips for people flying porter from Boston. The airline doesn’t have inflight entertainment No TV No WIFI. Bring your entertainment with you.

The airline arrival at the downtown airport is a big plus.. Food and beverage was excellent. Their non weather related cancellation is horrible. Overall I gave the airline 7 over 10

Wasn’t on the flight- again. Bad weather in Halifax and I was in an accident. What a poor experience to have to pay for all this flight and not be on it

I didn’t make my flight due to poor weather and I had an accident driving there. I tried to get my money back or even credit and nothing. I have an entire flight both to Florida and back that I paid for and no one will give me any money back. I know this isn’t just Porter and it’s 3rd party- however airlines should allow these companies to take money for things they don’t get. I’m so upset. Who can afford a full flight they never take?

Flight Ottawa to Toronto canceled and no crew was available to direct me on what to do. I opened a file and I wait to be compensated.

New jet. Lots of leg room. On time departure. Early arrival. Reasonable airfare. Excellent online experience.

I had checked in online the day before but was instructed to collect our boarding passes when we arrived. I am not completely comfortable using the automated Kiosks and always enjoy the nostalgia of speaking with someone when checking in for a flight. Upon doing so however, we were immediately asked,"did you check in online already?" To which I replied, "yes, but we were asked to retrieve our boarding passes upon arrival." She then said, "that's what those machines over there are for. We really encourage people to use those." That unfortunately sparked a series of shortness and overall poor behavior in my opinion from the woman who checked us in. I understand it was early in the morning but I am always excited to experience flying and that interaction has unfortunately left a bitter taste in my mouth to the point I will forever now hesitate to book with Porter again. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Cheers, JD

Everything was fantastic, by far the best airline experience in Canada 🇨🇦!

Porter uses the intelligent and logical way of boarding a plane - from the back.

Pros: "In bad circumstances, the FA was terrific!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed pre-boarding and on the tarmac. The weather was the culprit, but we should have not kept getting misleading comments from the online system and then misleading comments about our status from the pilot. That the toilet was misbehaving was an unpleasant reality, but the FA Knew what to do. We all do better when honest communication is the norm."
Cons: "It would have been better if my wife and I had been assigned seats together."
Pros: "Couldn’t get my carry on in tiny overhead. Purser came and did it himself."
Cons: "Could use a larger overhead in this type of plane. Waited on tarmac on landing a long time."
Pros: "The crew was amazing. So friendly and gracious in their attitude. The check in staff before the flight was excellent as well."
Cons: "The seats felt a little worn but weren’t uncomfortable."
Pros: "Missed work cause of flight delay. So now out a day of pay"
Cons: "Flight on time"
Pros: "There were a variety of movies to chose from."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for over an hour. In addition, once we landed in Calgary, we sat in the plane parked for over two hours. The pilot told us he couldn’t find a crew to take our luggage and set us up with the terminal."
Pros: "No middle seats was a plus."
Cons: "Warning: this plane cannot accommodate standard size carry-on luggage well. The bins are tiny and there is not enough room under the seats if you both have a carry-on."
Pros: "Good crew, plenty of legroom in row 12."
Cons: "Very limited food options for a dinner-time flight. Seat lacks lower back support."
Pros: "I was just happy to get home regardless my flight was delayed by over 12 hours."
Cons: "This by far was the worst Air Canada experience in my life. Since then I try to avoid AC at all costs!! The flight was delayed for over 12 hours. One of the flight crew told me AC would put us up in a hotel that night since the delay for us was their fault. No such luck. Horrible!!"
Pros: "Great cabin crew, on time"
Cons: "Q400 is cramped, noisy and awful overhead storage. So if your bag doesn`t fit overhead you are even more cramped with no legroom (and I am only 5`9`..)"

Terrible crew. Mediocre food. Terrible headphones. No Bluetooth connection for entertainment. Crying babies. Horrible experience.

No food. No Bluetooth for entertainment. Crying babies thought the cabin instead of placing them in the corners.

I really didn't flight from Toronto to Sydney Because my flight was cancelled for the snow But you guys help me lot and put me in the flight from Toronto to Halifax I give you at 10/10 because was really good Just I had to drive 4 hours to be home

Glad to see the staff of Air Canada take preference in protecting their customers from unruly passengers before they board. Well done

It was on time. It's all good when the expectation is met.

No food provided and the tickets are expensive. At least provide a snack, it is a 4.5 hr flights for 600 dollars. Snack would be welcomed.

I am 6'0 and almost no leg room. I am also not a small person, but this was the first time I had a issue with the seat belt. I feel like they should be made a tad bit bigger.

Difficile quand le gate change, les deux fois. Quand on m'a changé les sièges que j' ai réservé, les deux fois. On m'a dit que j'allais être remboursé et rien eu encore

It was good. Had 2 delays & just about missed both flights. Besides that Overall it was good

Air Canada continues to disappoint in almost every way. Probably the result of a monopoly, so NO need to improve anything

Flight was 3 hrs late and another 2 hrs wait for baggage to arrive on carousel and a $7.00 food voucher that arrived as we were boarding our flight.

Seat rows so close together no one dares to put their seats back. Knees pressed against the seat in front, had to find a position putting my legs under the seat in front. But for 6 hours keeping that one position was ridiculous. All savings on the purchase price are taken back through charge backs for luggage $200 each way, Seat selection $44 per seat or you are seated by a computer randomly. Wife sat 5 rows away. Would avoid Flair in the future

The flight was safe (priority). Everything else is low-cost: too hard, delays, mediocre boarding, cost for carry-on and checked luggage.

Flair flight was 4 hours late due to not having a crew and the plane was filthy. Just water service Terrible experience flight 1513

Flair did not notify you when they changed gate number!

Can't be happy with a 5 hour delay. Only given $10 voucher for food and still EVERYTHING was an upcharge during the flight.

TThe first time I have ever flown with flare and both ways sucked

There was no entertainment There was no food or beverage service , not even a glass of water The plane door could not be opened upon arrival

I try to buy water the cabin crews told me I had to wait for them to come around with the trolley I waited over 2 hours !!!!! Literally 2 hours I was so thirsty .

Lots of leg room in the front rows. Wish water was free.
