Cons: "Istanbul to frankfurt flight had no entertainment, no charging usb ports n a small ham sandwitch for breakfast - this was a 4 hour early mirning international flight!!!"

Pros: "Upstairs deck for economy is a small space but is relatively quiet. Boarding was relatively quick through electronic gates where you scan your boarding card. Flight attendant was very personable. She was checking some passenger names as some seemed to have switched seats and remembered mine for the rest of the flight. Something you usually get in business class but a first for me in economy. They also came around several times during the flight with water/juice, and snacks. Entertainment was ok. A mixture of newer movies available."
Cons: "Like all economy seating not much space especially when the person in front reclines their seat. This makes getting in and out of the seat a little difficult. Food a bit limited. 2 main meals for this flight (lunch/dinner) - chicken or pasta for the first one and beef or pasta (again) for the pre-landing meal. Also the attendant didn’t know the translation of the pasta dish from German to English so that was a bit disappointing. One thing to note. I flew Hamburg to Frankfurt to connect to the San Francisco flight with a 1 hour layover. You need to go through passport control in FRA and then I hustled to get to the gate. They were boarding as I arrived but maybe 10 minutes later and I would have missed my flight. No issues with the airline just a cautionary note on the layover time. I would likely book an earlier connecting flight to give a bit more time."

The families-first boarding made our flight much more pleasant than we'd expected. In all my travels, it's rare for me to have two pleasantly astounding experiences in the same flight. Thank you for your improvements of bathrooms, Lufthansa!"

For some reason our area of the plane in row 35 was so hot. It must have been 80F and air was not moving. It seems like other areas of the plane may have been cooler."

Pros: "Comfort, yummy food, exceptional customer service, but the best part had to be the amazing service when checking in at IAH.....the lady who checked us in delivered the best customer service I have ever received by an airline....I would love if she received some appreciation....she was super professional, courteous, friendly to my daughter, explained everything and made sure I understood, and then said "I'll see you upstairs Mrs. Manderfeld to help you further....at the gate" WOW! If only all airline check was like this!"

At one point, they did slip and admit that they actually had no way of actually tracking the plane, so everything they told us had been wild guesses about what had actually been happening! When some passengers asked to speak with a manager, we were told that the manager was not accepting calls at that time. After hours and hour and hours of delays and lies, they finally found a plane, but we still had to wait an hour for a crew as the original crew was now over their time limit. Once we were airborne, the flight was smooth and the newly cobbled together crew was nice. Zero mention or promise of reparations for the massive delay. AGAIN, DO NOT FLY AVIANCA IF YOU HAVE ANYWHERE YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO GO!"

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

BA should show consideration for real passengers not some sort of statistical average. I am 6'4" and sitting in your plane's cabin inflicts hours of body pain. The space given is sufficient for children and teenagers. Also sitting in the hot cabin for extended amount of time is extremely uncomfortable. Why there is no cooling and proper air ventilation right from the beginning?"

Cons: "AA failed to allow me to check in at initial arrival in Grande Prairie airport so I had to rush to get a boarding pass in Calgary where the AA agent told me it was not an AA problem and sent me back to WestJet. WestJet discovered that it was an AA problem and returned me to the AA counter where it was resolved. Then I had to rush to catch the flight and missed any opportunity to have a decent lunch between flights. Then there was no food offered on the AA flight to Dallas."

Pros: "Americans new 737s are pretty cool. The interior design is modern almost spacious. Seat back entertainment centers are like something you would find on international flights. There is even an A/C plug to charge your electronics. The seats don't just recline, they tilt the seat as well as the back. That said, the seat depth is akin to sitting on a picnik bench."

Cons: "The entire HUGE MESS from booking til sitting on our last airplane. The “new reservation” system is a horrible joke. The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing so you get completely wrong info and they won’t do anything about it. I’m a wheelchair assist and had to call 6 times to remind them to put it on my ticket even though each time I was shown that it had been added. They kept seating on the back row of the plain and blamed me for not calling ahead to “let them know I was wheelchair assist so they could reseat me” BUT...they won’t answer you call unless it’s 24 before your flight and then to check at the airport who then tells us it’s out fault cause we didn’t call more then 36 hrs ahead...YOU CANT CALL THAT FAR AHEAD...and ...get this “they don’t have wheelchair assist on my ticket/file”. I about lost my mind over the hours on hold and every different answer as to what what to do and in the end blamed us. ASTONISHING TO ME. THEN THEY HAVE THE NERVE ON-BOARD TO ANNOUNCE THEY ARE THE BEST AIRLINE IN NORTH AMERICA 2019...HORSE PUCKY!!!"

The second plane was so late, by the time I landed in Toronto, I had 10 minutes. Needless to say, after starting out in Kamloops at 6 am, that was missed also. Last leg missed as well, and had to wait another 4 hours for the last flight out. Just an incredibly frustrating trip"

I would have paid to have moved up to an un-occupied section of the aircraft if I could have. My mistake. I should have got up and walked around looking for these vacant seats. Despite the captain announcing that WIFI Internet was available for purchase. There was no WIFI on this aircraft. I am a tech guy. The flight attendant said just use your credit card. NO there was no WIFI available."

Why not put it in the ticket that Lufthansa and Air Canada work together and that both flights ref should show !! It would avoid a great deal of anxiety . Only offered 1 round if hot drinks over 9 hours ! Departure delayed by nearly 60 minutes"

Because it was unexpected, we had to wait even longer for a gate to become available. We then had to re go through customs and get our bags then wait in line again at the counter to schedule our flight for the next day. Thankfully we were given a hotel room and money for food. Very scary experience overall on the runway, but they tried to handle it as smoothly as possible under the unusual circumstances."

Cons: "I was stuck in immigration for about an hour. The screening process at this airport is so laborious. You have to wait on a bench until they call your name and they don't care if your flight is about to be boarding. I understand that immigration is necessary but they could at least have people form a queue instead of having us wait for our names to be called. I told them that my flight would be boarding in 25 minutes and they told me "Oh, don't worry, they'll just put you on the next flight". But when I got to my airline to check in, they charged me $150. I needed that $150 to pay some bills when I got back home."

There was no communication whatsoever. There was only one agent working the gate. When it was time for passengers who needed help boarding, he took them back one at a time, leaving the gate completely unstaffed. When he came back, he strolled like there was no urgency whatsoever. Every other airline I'm on tries to speed up boarding if the plane is already late. I was amazed that they didn't even add a second agent to the gate."

Cons: "Flight from Calgary to Denver delayed three and half hours. Informed of this delay thirty minutes before scheduled departure when our plane hadn’t even left Denver yet to head to Calgary. ( 2.5 hr flight) once finally made it to Denver was informed that we missed connecting flight to Boston. We were then informed since it’s for “weather” reasons earlier in the day that caused a sequence of delays they couldn’t accommodate us for hotel. We were given two “blankets” which were as thin as a sheet and each one bottle of water. Some other people around us received good voucherS. We did not. We walked around the airport for close to an hour looking for anyplace we could lay down and sleep. None were to be found. We tried to sleep on the floor but was so cold and uncomfortable I literally got sick to my stomach. Another fun thing added to mix. We were placed on another flight as 6 the next morning. After no sleeping at all we boarded our next flight Which was not a direct flight to Boston but would be from Denver to Newark then Newark to Boston. We were suppose to originally land in Boston at 0600 Monday. Instead we arrived at 1430 after getting zero sleep. My husband and I were also unable to sit together which was extra special for people around me because after not sleeping I continued to be sick to my stomach."

It wasn’t a problem for me but if you only have a Visa debit card and want to pay for checked bags online, this is not possible to do online prior to checking in. You also can’t check in to your flight as you would normally, you get the last available seats and have to pay for any seat changes. All in all, I’d still book through Kayak but I’d make sure that the flight I booked was through the company that operates the flights. It’s will give you more options when checking in to the flight."

Pros: "This was the worst and most stressful trip of my life. Heard of Murphy's law? Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. And did go wrong again. And again. It wasn't my fault or the people's fault, but an unfortunate chain of circumstances. And United personnel helped me deal with so many challenges and went above and beyond their duty. On the trip to Calgary my flights were delayed, I was denied boarding or the flight was canceled. It took me 3 days to get to my destination and this happened after I arrived 4 hours in advance for every flight, but the first one. I did everything I could in my power, but my best was not good enough. And so when my rental car broke down two hours before my departure, and I failed to start it, I took a cab to YYC and hoped for the best. And United didn't disappoint. They listened to me, respected me and tried to help me as much as they could. My leg cramped and I was not able to cross the hallway to the flight, just as the boarding was starting. The board agents called the wheelchair, walked over to me and tried to calm me down, just as they were wrapping up boarding. They then checked my luggage and held me by the hand all the way to the airplane,"
Cons: "Once again, the agents did the best they could given a set of highly unusual circumstances. Yet the flight was one hour late for a very predictable reason. In the winter it snows in Calgary. You have to de-ice the plane. This takes time. Yet, the airline treated snow as emergency and didn't allow time for that. One hour delay stressed a lot of people out and canceled their plans. Do allow for more time for travel in the winter. It is cost effective and leaves customers happier."
Cons: "Typical American passengers ignoring crews request to NOT place coats and small items in overhead bin. I had to have a "discussion" with passenger to please put coat under front seat. I don't know how crew could be more assertive with this item"
Pros: "Nothing about 9 HOURS in an Airport is great! I walked from where I landed coming from Calgary, to terminal 2 Gate F 17 because that was where the flight to Lexington was to leave from. Then I got notice it was leaving from terminal 1 Gate B 24 so (I'm sure I walked a mile there) to get there. Waited for a number of hours checked my phone and found the departure was back again at terminal 1 Gate F 17!?!?! So I walked another mile back to where I started. At no point was I offered a drink or meal voucher for the 9 hour delay/inconvenience in my flight to Lexington ky. Suffice to say that I will NEVER go on any flight if I have to go back through this airport. I also have horrible knees, which all the walking did not help."
Cons: "I would like to say that as a person with a disability, there is not any support for help getting around. They have plenty of for lack of a better term "golf carts"; but no one utilizing them. Not that I am a world traveler; but this airport could take more than a page from Calgary international in terms of support to those with disabilities. I will NEVER and I do mean NEVER go through something like this again. I expected to be home in Lexington at 5:00pm and did NOT arrive until midnight.??!! This is in my opinion quite unacceptable! We We were forced to pay for hotel our of our pocket, get another rental car, and change itinerary to have to go through Denver to get back to Chicago and arrive a full day later, causing havoc with work schedule and coverage for kids. We went through customs on the second leg of the flight with barely enough time to get through customs and then back through security at the Calgary airport. Our flight had been unilaterally changed by the airline due to too tight a connection but the new flight (much less convenient, had to get up at 3:00 am) was as bad or worse. We would have missed our connecting flight if it had not been delayed due to weather at our destination."
