C$ 360 Find Cheap Flights to Medellín Enrique Olaya – Compare and Save

I like the crew who were very helpful in ensuring documents were in order and problems resolver in a timely manner. However I did not like the fact that I had to have my checked bag inspected.I was concerned I would have missed my flight. I was also trying to check in online only to realise that was not possible.

We had a quick connection in Bogota. When we landed, they waited on the tarmac for 25 minutes before they let us deplane. I told the stewardess that we had less than 15 min to get to our next international flight. She did nothing except tell us we had time to get there. We found out later that they already scheduled us for a later flight, but they didn’t say anything until we ran to our gate. The plane was still there but they wouldn’t let us board. When they changed our flight, they gave my wife and I a voucher for food that was less than $40 in value. That buys very little in the Bogota airport.. it barely paid for two fruit juice drinks. There lack of communication was very unprofessional. This will be our first and last time using Avianca.

The seats were uncomfortable and barely reclined at all. Very little leg room despite being business class. The crew was friendly and the food was good. Had to use my own phone for in-flight entertainment.

Boarding was excessively slow. They do it by groups in a way that it doesn’t make sense. After business class , ppl that need assistance and any other priority group they should have ppl board from the back to the front. First rows 20+. Then 15+. Then 10, etc. having ppl sitting in the back board last makes no sense. The libe backame long as soon as ppl on rows 10 or so where told to board. The line went all the way up the ramp and tunnel for 25 mins.

Flight to Bogotá delayed by 3 h Missed connection from Bogotá to Guayaquil. Avianca unable to bring us to Baltra on time Overall delay 36h. We missed boat departure from galagos. Overall 10 day trip needed to be cancelled. Avianca was completely un-professional.

Late departure. When the flight arrived in Medellin the plane sat at the gate for 20 minutes waiting for a bus for us to get off the plane.

The seats were very uncomfortable. I would have upgrade or got different flight if I knew. I usually sleep in the plane but I couldn’t sleep at all. Very uncomfortable. Also no food or drink everything was to purchase, and that’s u usual for international flight.

The connection time is too short to pass through customs and once you do clear customs the connecting flight is in another terminal that is not close.

I was surprised that they didn’t offer drinks at least even though it was an international flight.

Terrible. Flight was delayed without explanation, airplane was in poor condition (old, dirty) and crew was not in a good mood.
