When you fly into Lisbon, prepare for a 2.5 hour line up (no access to washrooms if you are travelling solo as no one will hold your place in line) after you deplane. A passport officer needs to manually check your passport EVEN IF you go through the self serve kiosks. Having an EU passport can save some time, as their line is shorter but the process is the same. Shockingly, after clearing security, duty free, food court and lounges, you will have to endure this process AGAIN on departure day. This comes as a huge surprise to travellers who give themselves minimal time to get from security to the boarding gate (usually 30 minutes is lots of time!) and they are confronted with this process making most everyone late for boarding. It is wildly inefficient and travellers were having anxiety attacks, panicking, and losing their tempers all around me during the wait. My flight was delayed by nearly an hour or I would not have made it. Prepare yourself.

Get to Athens airport early. 3-4 hours early if you want to be comfortable. There were so many people and the airport wasn't staffed for it. We were there 2 hours early and were last to board the plane. Also had to sit in plane for an hour waiting for ATC to approve taxi and takeoff.

Bring a neck ring pillow for international flights. For the comfort and sleep of other customers, please be considerate and keep the window covers closed once the plane is in the air and at least until 30 minutes before landing.

I hadn’t noticed that my second flight was on Air Canada Rouge from TO to Kelowna. No entertainment and few food options. My bad bc it was explained but i hadn’t noticed. So note whether it the regular AC carrier or the budget service. I’d booked a flex flight so assumed all were the same level. But it was clearly explained, I just did’t notice at the time of booking.

Most airlines accommodate senior couples together. For us even though there were empty seats on the plane we were given seating not next to one another. Also make sure to check your phone for messages since gates often change

Boarding of the plane is a nightmare, and the gate staff don’t allow sufficient time for each zone to board in order. Get in line ASAP and just start board as soon as they begin letting people on the plane. Also, the self service check in machines won’t print baggage tags (we tried four different machines and none of them would print a baggage tag even though we had done online check in to indicate that we had checked bags).

Check your bags and carry only a small tote on board. Air Canada is fantastic about letting you know the progress of your bags, where to pick them up, etc. The freedom of not having to haul bags around the airport, onto the plane, off the plane, etc. is well worth the couple of minutes wait for the bags to be deposited on the carousel. Security in Toronto is a mess. This is especially puzzling since one has already been through security in Lisbon. Why one needs do this again is a wonder since transiting passengers are insulated from outside contact while passing through the airport.

They never sent me a confirmation to say my flight time had changed so I cut my holiday short by 6 hours Had to pay over 50 American for my luggage to be checked on the way home and that’s more that it cost on the way there. Arbitrarily charging more for the same thing when the passenger has no options is shady The cabin was an icebox going there and back, if all the passengers have their gloves on and their hoods up that should be an obvious sign to turn up the heat

Very good. A lot better experience then I expected for an economy flight.

The flight crew were very good, polite, and professional. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience left much to be desired. The food was extremely bland—almost tasteless. We chose the non vegetarian .The lasagna was just plain pasta with a tiny garnish and no seasoning. It felt like eating starch only, The bigger issue was with luggage and space. We boarded with three tickets, and while the seats in front of us were nearly empty, all the overhead compartments had already been filled by passengers boarding to the back. This left us and many others with no overhead storage for our carry-ons. Our bags couldn’t fit well under the seats either, which meant we lost the little legroom we had. The result was a horrible, cramped experience—sore knees, no space to stretch, and no way to rest or sleep comfortably. According to the crew this was a rather normal thing. It is obviously normal that people board with handbag and carry on but they should be only allowed to use their overhead compartment and under their seat not the way it is managed that all the spaces in the front of the plane being occupied by the people sitting way back in the plane.

Everything was horrible. On the day of my departure, I was denied check-in and boarding because my reservation only showed one of my last names, while my passport contains both. This minor discrepancy could have been easily corrected, but I was informed that no adjustment could be made. As a result, I lost not only my outbound flight but also my return flight and had to purchase a new ticket at a significantly higher cost.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had. Basically, I lost my round-trip tickets because one of my last names was missing, and you didn’t allow me to correct it. I had to purchase a full ticket again. Once I get home, I will start legal proceedings against you.

The crew were polite and courteous. The Pilot did an excellent landing. It was very smooth and gentle. My only regret is that I was charged twice for my luggage . The attendant gave me no receipt . I didn't realize until I was about to board. How can this be resolved? Thank you.

Very smooth flights Toronto to Rome and return. Crews were great, food was fine but very narrow seats and limited leg room. Aisle seats on our return helped with a bit more space.

Check in slow even though completed online check in, there was no bag drop available so had to query for 90mins as only 2 staff on desks.

Everything was very good. I felt that the value received in paying for Business Class tickets was very good. The entertainment offered was plentiful, but could be improved with more recent options as well. By no means a deal-breaker. The staff were awesome, in the airport, at the gate and onboard.

The crew is not focused on the guests but on their task!! No extra service. No business class amenities provided. A crew is not friendly if you ask for something extra, like tea. It takes 30 minutes, and you have to go them 3 reminders. Lack of friendliness, less but more of let me finish and go back to their group and Talk. Like a passenger is in on there way. I did not have a good experience from the first point of contact to the check in person to boarding and the comfort of the seats. I would not travel on Turkish again. I will let my family and friends know about my experience which was not a pleasant one.

The internet was not working during the 10 hour. This situation was known by the cabin crew before the flight. If so, information should be given to passangers. Some people should work during the flight.

737-8 Max is an awful design. Toilets in the rear are inaccessible for most of the flight due to service carts.

Flight was first delayed for 1 hour, then was cancelled. Communication was poor. I ended up booking a new flight on a different carrier to return home. I heard people in my gate area on the phone with Air Canada customer service who had to inform them that the flight was cancelled and they weren't being helped because the system hadn't caught up with what was actually happening.

this flight was exceptional due to the plane itself being updated with longer seat belts so no need for the extender and access to a tv.

Flight was delayed for over an hour making our connecting flight impossible to make. No notification that we had been bumped to another flight. Was told my bag would stay at the airport. Got to my hotel and got notified I needed to pick it up. Come all the way back to the airport to find I didn’t need to pick it up and the app glitched. They did at least put me on the next available flight. No offer for money back or compensation for time lost due to being home a day later. No compensation for food as it was only good for anything in the airport. Not outside it. They did at least book the hotel and the gate agent was very helpful. But I did not appreciate them giving my seats away to stand by people while I was sprinting through the airport to try and make it to a flight I was late for through no fault of my own. If they did not let stand by on I would have been on my flight as they did allow two people before me on

Business Class Configuration was excellent- private and comfortable. Crew and service were excellent. I really appreciate Air Canada cabin pressurization equal to an altitude of 8,000ft. Upon landing, I felt more alert and refreshed than typical for international flights

Hard to use tables and TV screens interfere with the enjoyment of flight experience. Other than that it was a smooth and comfortable ride and we were well taken care of.

The flight crew, the on-plane service, and the food were fine. The seats lacked cushioning and were uncomfortable compared to other planes from recent flights. The plane was initially delayed one hour and that expanded to 1.5 hours. When we boarded, there was insufficient room for our carry-on bags, which added more time to disembarking from the plane. It appeared the Air Canada staff or the Toronto Airport staff were less than competent to handle whatever the issue was that caused the delays, which was never communicated.

Boarding was haphazard after people with small children or walking difficulties

The boarding process is not well organized at all. It need to be totally revised with an emphasis on order.
