The overall work ethics and the ease of boarding was awesome as well as time line, for hotel transfer due to layoff time was also excellent
I took a roundtrip to Addis Abeba, Ethiopia from Washington, DC. The trip was 13 hours there and 16 on the way back (I think that included a refueling stop in Dublin). There was plenty of food and beverages provided throughout the flight - usually every 3 hours or so. Blankets, pillows, and several movie/entertainment were provided.
I would prefer the the main cabin lights be kept off longer.
Checking in was poor. The booking didn't reflect in jhb or in two Aviv. Special meal was requested and not provided.

una valija se perdió. Eso desató el descontrol que tiene KLM para seguir el equipaje. No hay como hacer tracking. No hay un teléfono a donde hablar, la web está desactualizada y con información equivocada. Direccionan a usar canales de twitter y facebook que no responden. Primer experiencia en KLM y no pienso nunca más usar esta aerolínea. Llevar el equipaje o resolver un problema sobre valijas es de lo más básico de una aerolínea y no lo hacen.

It was announced I can choose between fish and chicken meal but when I requested for fish meal, I was told it’s finished. My seat was 21, and it surprised me. If something can be changed about that then your services would be much appreciated. Thank you.
food on each flight was not the one requested/ Called the customer service and specifically told them that my mom (the traveller) is a vegetarian and while her journey to the US, she did not get any food, had to eat only fruits. They suggested the Hindu meal and i happily agreed, but the exact same thing happened. Hindu meal turned out to be non-vegetarian Indian food! Never ever would travel by this airline again... lesson for life! would bad mouth about this airline whenever I can!
EVERYTHING. Dirty bathrooms; no places to sit; no facilities; full lounge. Passengers were sleeping on the floor at the duty free stores. HORRIBLE airport. A new one will be open soon, but who knows when.

12 of January, 2018 Dear Austrian Airlines authority, I address to your kind attention to asist me to get to me the hat qhich I lost on board of the flight 1576 when I arrived to Vienna airport on my way frpom JFK to Lwo. It happened because it was no room above my seat's bin and the steard helped me to get my heat in another bin. Unfortunately I forgot at the moment when I left the board of the plane, a minute later I reminded that I forgot my hat but I was not allowed to go back and get my hat. I tried to communicate with the Lot&Found office in Vienna airport as I had 2h40 minutes in connection time and it was enough time to get me back the hat, unfortunately nothing was really done from the airport staff to get me my hat and made to me possible continue traveling with my hat. I spoke to two managers, the name I could share with you if you need. The Found office registered my black hat and the plastic box under the number F2018/000682. In this situation I ask your offices to deliver my hat and the plastic box to Lviv airport as sson as possible as this is a special hat for my daily prayers. I wish you best and ask for your kind assistance to send the item as soon as possible with the nearest flight. Sincerely, Meylakh Sheykhet
All went fine and the crew friendly. 12 hours from Switzerland to Sao Paulo is extremely long time to sit in an airplane, but temperature and air were fine and the flight was without delay.

Please let families with small children board early. This is the first flight I remember where I and other families with small children had to board with everyone else, and it's stressful for all involved.
