Flying on the older 767-300ER also has more shoulder and leg room than some of Air Canada's newer configurations for the 787 and 777."

On American Airlines and United Flight attendants make announcements over the PA to (a) step out of the aisle to let people pass, and (b) place larger suitcases in the overhead and smaller bags under the seat. That way they try to ensure there is enough bin space to accommodate everyone. Passengers on Air Canada stuff everything in to the overhead bin and nothing under their seat, leaving little for those boarding after and delaying the flight because flight attendants are looking for bin space. If they were more pro-active, it would speed things up."

Then at the airport counter we were told to try at the gate and then at the gate when I went to ask I was told to go get both tickets before they told us that there was no 2 seats together anyway rather than looking first. All whilst explaining this was our honeymoon and we would really like to sit together as husband and wife. Then once we boarded the guy sitting next to me was happy to swap seats with my wife as he had back problems and had asked for an aisle seat but was denied. Finally we are underway and I find that my entertainment touch screen doesn't work so even though it is one i can't select anything to watch. Plus to top it off the seat arm rest was broken. Obviously with a fairly full flight with no 2 seats together their wasn't much that could be done immediately but where is the maintenance and actual physical plane quality? Do your engineers or staff not check things? Overall dispite this being our national carrier I am ashamed to claim that. Many of our overseas visitors for the wedding from Australia and Europe also had similar complaints."

For example, I was either stepped on (as a result, being woken up) or my backpack was stepped on several times when an attendant was walking down the aisle, and neither of those things were sticking out into the aisle. This has rarely happened to me on trans-Pacific flights (more crowded, longer flights) so I can only attribute it to the carelessness of the attendants and/or the aisle width but since I think aisle width follows international standards it's more likely the former."

First off, It’s a budget airline so adjust your expectations. They boarded efficiently and pushed off the gate on time. Arrivals to the destination was slightly delayed due to headwinds but nothing major. Service by flight cabin crew was good. Cabin is a bit aged but maintained. Seats are comfortable enough all things considered. I would fly with flair again.

This is my second Flair flight. On time departure and early arrival on both trips. Boarding moved quickly compared to my experience on other airlines. I like the reminders throughout eg. Gate email, checkin reminders etc. Clear announcements. I am pleasantly surprised. Keep it up. Excellent pricing, e Even last day or two. Unlike excessive high prices closer to trips. Long walk to terminal, though lots of moving stairs and escalators/elevators. Nothing to add that would not cost more.

Service was terrible and the flight was 4 hours delayed with out any compensation

No cofee or minimum refreshments

Flight was Scheduled for 4:25PM ET but didn't leave until 8PM ET. Terrible!

I wish this and other airlines would board you by row, starting at the back. This was just the free for all approach. Cabin crew were really really nice and also efficient. Captain kept us updated as needed.

Checking on line didn’t work

The flight and attendants were very good however if I may suggest that the lead attendant who speaks on the intercom, speaks a bit slower She was talking so fast you could hardly understand what she was saying

System had messed up and people who had purchased specific seats had been placed randomly around the plane. ie. I didnt get the seat I payed for

Nice plane

I was not impressed with receiving messages concerning the original time of departure was sent to me as well as the current updated messages for the corrected time of departure. I needed to call and speak with a person to ensure my daughter and I were on the correct flight. It was confirmed however, the correct time of departure was then changed from 4:45 pm to 6:05 pm. Once at the airport, it was then changed to depart at 6:30 pm. This was a 4.5 hr. flight so we arrived at Ottawa International Airport at 1:30 am on June 12th rater than shortly after midnight. There were no refreshments served, with the exception of water. This was not acceptable for this flight. Thankfully my daughter and I were able to have something to eat shortly prior to boarding.

The flight was alright however, the seats did not recline making this 5 hour flight uncomfortable for me. The flight attendants were very nice. The flight itself was very smooth with only a few ripples. It was delayed in leaving but not by much.

Poor customer service. Do not print my ticket on the check in (airport).

They make you pay for everything:- hand carriage, seat, check-in and don't even offer you a cup of water! It turnout much more expensive than AC !

I didn’t like It at all cause of delays and cancellations last minutes? No entertainment not even charging points in plane ..and I noticed when one flight landed from flair’s air plane the reuse that plane which is fine but no safety protection no sanitary nothing .

Flight was late

Brand spanking new planes and amazing crews.

Pros: "cabin crew was friendly enough"
Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour on the tarmac because an engine wouldn't start!"
Pros: "Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself."
Cons: "The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!"
Pros: "Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room."
Cons: "Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future."
Pros: "The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs."
Cons: "Similar problem on the way home, could not book luggage online but could check in. Shop closes at 5 CST so could not call. Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back."

Cons: "I was told by transat to down load an App. to watch entertainment only to be told by Flair Air that they did not provide the service and that I was given the wrong information. So no TV for 5 hrs."
Cons: "New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given"
Pros: "Everything about Newleaf was awesome."
