Miami Beach Hotels near Miami City Ballet

Pros: I'm used to travel all over the globe and this is one of my top favorites hotels in the world ! Hope to be back soon

Cons: Crappy service. When you check in, they are all over you asking you what time you want turn down service, whether you need reservations, etc, but when you try to contact someone about a problem you are having, it's a disaster.

Pros: The lobby and live music every evening it’s awesome. Roof top is great it was close this time because of hurricane but we have been there before. Room is big , awesome!

Cons: The breakfast is really expensive I think. The hotel is not cheap at all but during the day food or drinks are ok price. Breakfast is expensive thought

Pros: I chose the One for my 40th birthday celebration. Amazing location in Southbeach, breathtaking view, spacious room, AMAZING gym, FANTASTIC hair salon.

Pros: The decoration, the service, and on top of that its Eco-friendly. I will definetly be back! :)

I have done a late checkout (free of charge) at the last day of my stay without any problem. Not a common practice at other hotels and i appreciate it very much !!! I was in this resort for 8 nights... This place was definitely one of the best ones I have ever visited and stayed. Very kind staff and super helpful/polite. Amazing pool, well maintained and clean with all around a nice tropical garden. They offer European breakfast, freshly baked bread rolls including very fine donuts and croissants. You can order omelets or eggs in different forms other ingredients and toppings and the staff (Lazaro, Wilson, Caterina @Habitat were gorgeous) is making everything for your request. Well done 1 Hotel South Beach and thank you very much !!! Ciao !!!

Pros: The room was very spacious and the staff were very friendly especially Richard he was very helpful and welcoming.

Pros: Great hotel - super comfortable rooms, nice touches everywhere (especially loved the record player and vinyl), very good housekeeping, fab location close to everything, Cleo restaurant is excellent and highly recommended.

Cons: Service on the rooftop was pretty average. Only a couple of umbrellas up there too.....I preferred using the beach. They need to get some ice machines so you don''t have to rely on reception to bring it up all the time. There are renovations happening so it will be interesting to see what happens!

Pros: We stayed at The Redbury for 2 nights with a bunch of friends. We had a great time at the pool. The lady at the pool bar was lovely and the staff in general were v friendly and helpful. We did not eat at the hotel. Walking distance to everything, great location.

Pros: The room is well designed, clean and comfortable. The restaurant, Cleo, is delicious for dinner and they offer a discount for those staying in the hotel.

Pros: IT WAS SUPER ORIGINAL. LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE. STAFF WERE SUPER PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL AT ALL TIMES. PLUS THE ROOM BAR WAS ON POINT!

Pros: The staff was really kind and would help you with any question. The hotel is really beautiful, very clean, and the rooms are really nice! You can put some music on the turntable, and relax. The pool was fantastic on the roof, nice beds, umbrellas, and the view is really cool. The bath robes additionally in the room were very welcome. If we come back, we would return to this hotel, it was super great! You are not obligated for valet, you can go to the nearest public parking for 20dollars/24h.

Cons: You get 2 chairs for free on the beach(with another hotel they work together) but if you want an umbrella, it's 27 dollars. It's not really in the ' center, south beach' but if you walk like 15min you're there.

Cons: Was full and no gym at the hotel. Needed to go to another hotel they have a partnership with down the block.

Pros: The location is great and we loved that we were able to utilize the pool at the SLS. The continental breakfast was very nice (great coffee). The room is very sizeable and was clean. Loved the availability of robes.

Cons: Our biggest disappointment was that there was no bar service during the day, which is why we hung out at the SLS. Also, it doesn't make sense to have a record player and vinyls in the room when the record player doesn't work, so those need to be replaced

Cons: I had a room that has a view to a construction site just next to the room and it was very noisy in early morning as the big machines were working. I had to wake up everytime the machine starts, it was anoying.

The photos online were very misleading to the size of the pool/views from the room of the terrace. Paid extra for the garden view which wasn’t much of a garden at all. Food at the restaurant was overpriced for small portions. Entrance was on the side street and hard to find when you’re getting dropped off on the main road of Collins ave

Pros: Everything about this hotel from the first time you arrive to the day you depart is absolutely amazing. The staff, the rooms, the amenities, the room service, the restaurant on site, the rooftop Hydro pool. Pool side car outside. Everything was perfect.

Cons: There are literally no cons to this property. Location is perfect, footstep from the beach and the staff are always making you feel like you are on vacation.

Pros: The hotel’s location is very good. The facilities very nice, and overall, the customer service was AMAZING. All very nice, attentive, and efficient. I have traveled a lot and cam say this is the best customer service ever. Will definitely visit again.

Cons: The onlu complain would be the the pool and service at the beach closes at 6 pm, which is still very early.

Cons: The room blinds were stuck and it was a hassle to get them to replace the. What good to pay extra for an ocean view room if you can not see the ocean 2 days out of the 3 day stay. Last day we did not have housekeeping, no towels or br stuff

Pros: There were 2 hospitable people at the hotel, the waitress at the pool and Sergio at welcome.

Cons: There is a huge difference between a five star and this hotel. The elevator broke one day. The floors weren’t cleaned. The pool staff was there to offer towels and nothing more. Should have paid the extra money to stay at the 1 or W.

Cons: Hidden fees that the resort does not mention, even if you call to book your room. Construction is taking place at both hotels on each side of Como Metropolitan. Very Loud

Cons: They gave us a room with a twin size bed when we actually booked a king. They switched us to another room but bed was queen size. Also, the new room had no hot water (they came and fixed the problem but water was warm at best).

Cons: I was gifted this stay so it was paid for in full on booking.com. When I arrived, I was informed I had to repay the entire stay plus $150/ night down payment for incidentals. Thus they collected twice for one stay. They were only willing to reimburse the person who gave me the trip -but not until 5 working days! And I did not budget for this total withdrawal on my credit card. Nothing in their policies stated that it could not be prepaid by someone else/ I had a lawyer review policies. Very disappointed!!

Cons: They charge you a resort fee each day - ridiculous after all that they charge you for room .

Pros: It was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They were very informative. Great outdoor area for sitting and having an evening drink. Loved relaxing around the pool where the staff were so efficient when it came to finding a sun bed. Would love to return here.

Pros: Amazing location, really well equipped and everything smelled so nice!! The staff was beyond amazing. We had a really nice chat with the girl at the reception when we checked in (I think her name was “lady”) and she got us a feee upgrade! Absolute perfect stay! I will definitely come back!!!

Cons: the Rooms looked ugly and had not Flair at all...could be made really nicer but they were tidy and not dirty.

Pros: Welcoming staff, clean rooms despite their oldness, good noise insulation. Good food and breakfast at the sixteen. Great central location, nice pools and patios atmosphere (when no music is playing).

Cons: Paid 22usd for 1h30 of use of an umbrella on the beach. Bad and loud music soup at the pool. In addition, poor quality of the sound system makes it a real pain for the ears. Bar has a 1 full page of alcohol beverages and 3 items non-alcoholic. 35usd for Sunday brunch/pax and plain coffees were charged extra 7usd each. Do you know what a brunch is ?

Pros: The staff at the Beach, young men that tend to the chairs were first class. They should all be taken care of and really make a good impression. They very much saved our South Beach experience. Honest hard working young men!

Cons: South Beach area was not ideal for families. Outside of the Hotel - Collins Ave was very dirty and smelly - Urine and Sewage every morning. The Hotel's restaurant had good food but extremely overpriced and inline with characteristics of a tourist trap. The Restaurant's waitstaff were attentive and professional until asked why an 18% gratuity was added to bill without my discretion (I guess they needed it more)...after I asked this, I was told it is standard practice, and if I wanted I can add more??? Then the waiter disappeared and was no where to be seen. The hotel is clean - but when you book 2 rooms and are told one of your rooms will be facing a wall while the other has ocean front...and there is nothing they could do without me paying more...it really does look like front desk staff need assistance in training and should use common sense...I should not need to ask or pressure for an upgrade - take care of your customers! The eating establishments around Collins and anywhere in South Beach are a complete downgrade in service. The waiters are almost criminal in adding tips to customers bills without authorization. The City of Miami and all involved in the Travel and Restaurant Industry should pay serious attention to this incorrect practice... you are hurting an industry and your city's reputation.

Cons: Ocean Room 1 king bed booked had no AC .. 2nd room was not ocean view and had double beds not what I paid for .. 3rd room no Ocean view but fine it was a suite but until a saw a roach that freaked me out I was ready to go never again

Pros: Pool area facilities, incredible free happy hour from 6pm to 7pm. Rooms looks better than photos

Cons: Staff at reception not very attentive and customer centric. Corridor are very noisy and room not insulated if you want to rest book somewhere else

Pros: It was very impressive. Location was great. Walk out the back exit and where was a walking path that went to the main S. Beach area. Instead of taking the path go a few steps farther and you are on the beach. We like to walk. It was close to Lincoln Rd. and the resturants at South Beach. Could not ask for a better place. Everyone there was helpful when we had a question.

Cons: We understand that the hotel was built a long time ago but we had issues with noise. We could hear people in the bathroom in the rooms above us and the TVs through the walls.

Pros: Amazing location. Love the backyard area with pool, hammocks and floating beds. They got great staff who's looking out for their guests. Happy hour every day will appeal to a lot of guests.

Cons: Floor/carpet did not get cleaned every day. Hotel gets mostly drowned out by neighbors, so own atmosphere vanishes here and there.

Pros: Great location with beach next to it, beautiful pool and garden area, comfortable spacious room, king sized bed. Beach beds and umbrella included on the beach.

Cons: There weren't many places to unpack in the room. Not a negative for us, just a heads up: part of our group booked the same type of room, and while ours was big with one king sized double bed, they got a much smaller room with two small twin beds, and they had to pay extra to rent a fridge. Not sure what the difference was in the booking...
