Overview of Sunwing Airlines

If you travel with Sunwing Airlines, you will have the option of flying to many different countries located throughout North America, South America, and Central America. While options such as Canada and Mexico are popular for North America, destinations in South and Central America consist of Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba.

For those that will be accompanied by small children on their flight, you are able to take advantage of several benefits, including meals that are specifically meant for kids, as well as a free activity backpack that contains items like puzzles, a game book, coloring materials, and a beach ball that your little one can play with once you reach your destination.

Sunwing Airlines offers three different travel classes for passengers to choose from: Economy, Elite Plus, and Premium. While Economy will provide you with standard perks, like the option of bringing a carry-on and receiving free light snacks, Elite Plus comes with priority boarding, priority check-in, the ability to choose your own seat, and more legroom. If you opt for Premium, you will also be given a free glass of sparkling wine and one free checked bag up to a certain weight limit.

This airline has a medium-sized fleet that is composed of over 15 aircraft, with a majority of them being Boeing. The Boeing 737-800 is the most commonly used plane, as it works well for both medium-range and long-haul flights and can fit up to almost 200 passengers. For slightly longer flights, the company opts to use the Boeing 737 MAX 8, a choice that is more spacious.
