Old plane. Delayed but no apology. Not great
When we checked in at Calgary- there were only 3 people intially. Then, 2 left and only 1 old man was left. He tried to move through the line, but could not clear us fast enough. About 50 people were stuck and not able to get boarding passes or luggage checked. We missed out flight. The scene was chaotic. Then, those of us who missed the flight were not able to get help as he was now trying to get the next people on the SLC flight through. We were so upset. Poorly run.
Baggage delayed even though both the flights were delayed.
We had to change gates 3x. Got off late. Given wrong gate info. The lines were so long I couldn’t get lunch.
Flight was overbooked and we didn’t leave on time.
There was an enormous line at LAX trying to check in and check bags. Fortunately the staff were accommodating and allowed us to check our bags even after the deadline had passed -- but it was definitely an extremely stressful experience!

Cons: "I had a problem getting a boarding pass that was a carryforward from a problem that I had had on the flights from the USA to Frankfort 2 weeks earlier. On those flights, I was denied boarding on the flight from Amsterdam to Frankfort because of miscommunication between Delta and KLM. Apparently, the staff who dealt with that problem did not note that the issue had occurred, so it looked like there were "out-of-sequence" segments on my initial flight and I was not allowed to check in electronically. It took several calls to KLM and Delta in Frankfurt to try to resolve the problem and finally it was determined that it could only be resolved at the airport. Other than a very nice KLM representative, the other people I talked to seemed unwilling to engage in helping me and sent me along to someone else. Although the problem was ultimately fixed, this was not a great customer service experience."

They lied to us saying that they were going to give vouchers for hotel, that we were going to be automatically booked for next flight and that our bags would arrive with our flight. Waited 7hs to talk to an agent in the airport. 24h wait in Atlanta had to sleep in airport. They wanted me to wait three days in atlanta. They forced me to check a carry on because they didn't have room in the plane. They told me my bag would arrive with my flight. It never did. I still dont have by only bag. Unbelievable."

I literally RAN all the way from deplaining to boarding. It was a night mare. I would have missed my flight if I had walked instead of running"

Lufthansa should do a better job with accommodating the needs of special cases like this, preferably when they book the flight or before they board. SFO boarding was slow and confusing. There was a backup being caused by having to seat 6 or more passengers in a wheelchair. Then, I followed signs for boarding in Economy, which was at the front of the A380. I was forced to the aisles to the back of the plane, where I prompty collided with other passengers that were boarding the rear entrance of the plane. Why wasn't I just asked to board from the rear entrance to avoid the congestion?"

A heads up on filling in an e-ticket prior to flight departure would have been helpful.
The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.

It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Upon purchasing the ticket, it stated that, checked bags would be $30 each, so I expected to pay only $30 for my second bag, being as my first checked bag came with the price of the ticket….instead, I was charged $75 for my second bag and not $30, like the price I saw… :-( very disappointing.. I was tricked.,.

Cons: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. When I and several other passengers question the desk at the gate about the bringing a large vicious dog into the plane, we were told they were to busy to deal with us even though they were just standing there doing nothing. I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

The only compensation given for this dealy was a voucher for a 20 Euro meal at the airport restaurant of my choice. I know planes get hit by lightning on average of once a year, but it typically does not take 3 to 4 hours to inspect and confirm the safety of the plane's electrical system. But perhaps better safe than sorrry!"
Pros: "I went from Belgrade to WAW and then to Chicago. The flight from Belgrade was delayed by almost two hrs which made out flight to Chicago delyed as well. This was my first time flying with LOT and so far so good. I think the flights from WAW are delayed bcz of the other flights coming into WAW are delyed and since there are only one international flight a day they wait for these flights to arrive so they can take off. This is what happened in my case. The crew was very nice. I traveled with two small children and they were very helpful. I would def flight with LOT again"

The flight was over an hour late with no explanation. There was a plane at the gate when we landed, which added to the tardiness of arrival. They were so non Chalant about so many people missing their connecting flights. It was like they already knew they were going to put us on Lufthansa 2 hours later... polish airlines Is awful- the airport personnel even worse. No one respects standing in line. Airport officials kept cutting into the security lines which literally cost me the 5 minutes that I could have made the flight. I am very diasspointed and kayak should not advertise this airline."

We had already left the gate and the plane was taxiing and some people were still not sitting in seats - I suppose that's fellow passengers for you - and they were told by flight attendants to get into their seats. Economy seats are very cramped so it's an uncomfortable and probably not healthy experience for that long. The flight delay meant that there was high stress in Warsaw to make the connecting flight. Why transit passengers need to be subjected to security checks and clearance I do not understand. We have just got off an international flight - transit passengers surely aren't combined with new passengers who have not been through security in Warsaw."

My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Cons: "LOT planes were late to both directions to the place and 2 weeks later from the place. When we flew with my little daughter - toddler to the destination the plane was late and as a result we were late to another plane, so they sent us to the same destination country but to the different place and then I had to find out were to go further while our luggage was lost (found in 3 days). When we flew back, the plane was late once again and I was told that we might will be left until next day morning, so lots of nervous and stress. The food provided was very poor as well - basically just small chocolate bar and water, tea or coffee, so if you are hungry it would not really help you."
Cons: "No new movies or no tv shows to watch on a 9hr flight. If I knew I would have downloaded movies on my phone or on a usb stick(u have the possibility of using those). Horrible food, cannot even describe! No free alcohol. If you pay cash for the alcohol you end up paying double as if you pay with Credit card. I paid for 3 drinks, were brought only 2 and when I asked for the 3rd one they didn't understand what I want. Crew speaks only polish, they have little knowledge of English language. They are not helpful and they don't care about passengers! Delays on every flight, Friday LOT airline doesn't have to many flights out of Warsaw! Be aware, in the event of a delay and loosing your connecting flight you might end up spending a night in Warsaw. I WILL NEVER USE LOT AGAIN and I will make sure to spread the word!!!"

I don't expect champagne service in Economy but the flight attendants could have been more proactive in walking down the aisles occasionally rather than just when handing out meals. If you needed a drink the best option was to head to the back of the plane and pour it yourself. In fact, most of the passengers did precisely this!"
