Flights were consistently on time and service was great. Amazingly, our luggage made it too despite the short connections. Service was very good. The crew was pleasant and they were always serving drinks and food/ snacks even on short flights although food is usual coach fare. All in all a very positive experience. Most of the North American airlines could learn a thing or two regarding punctuality, service and baggage handling."

There was an additional x-ray machine at the gate, even thought we were already in a secure area. I was connecting, so I never left the secure area, but I had to go through screening again. The main inconvenience was that I had to throw my water, and there was no dispenser inside the gate area, so no water until offered a glass as part of the in-flight service, over an hour later. Boarding was very slow, but ordered. Somehow, I ended up in "boarding group 7" (the last one) even though I had payed for a seat closer to the centre of the plane.

Cons: "It took 40min to drop my bags off after having done web check in. There were only 4 people in front of me. Terribly system for check in and bag drop but everything else was great so I could overlook this in the future. Just plan for it."

They lost my luggage on this last flight, so I'm still waiting for their updates two days after that.
I liked the sandwich. The new seat is not very comfortable
Terrible airline. Completely disorganized and incompetent check-in process. 2+ hour flight delay and total lack of communication by their staff to the passengers. I missed my connecting flight as a result and was forced to reroute to Panama through Copa airlines in order to return to Bogotá, which took almost 10 extra hours. I would never fly GOL again.
I missed it because of the delay in the other flights. Attendants in the airport sent me from one side to the other many times due to poor information.

Cons: "If I had at least boarded the flight I could have given feedback. But I didn't get in! I spent 6 hours at the airport waiting for my flight, with check in done and missed the flight. And on my ticket I didn't have the gate number or the terminal, the goalkeeper said he would let me know when the flight was leaving, the hours passed and I didn't hear him calling me. until near the departure time I went to ask the employee and he said that the flight had left a long time ago and that the entrance was on the opposite side of where I was and they did not warn me ... now I'm here at the airport with no place to sleep, waiting for my other flight with a connection to Brasilia that leaves 6 am where I will wait for almost 12 hours to be able to get home. remembering that my flight from São Paulo to Cuiabá was 3 hours long and I will have to wait for almost 24 hours. A goalkeeper was super arrogant with me, gave me no support and even told me that if I was in the United States I would be waiting for 3 days at the airport sleeping on the floor, so it was ok."

It would be better if the employees knew the rules about their work. Everything very disorganized from the gate number to the carry on allowed in the plane. I will never fly with Gol again."

Cons: "Seriously, a sandwich and some indistinguishable "dessert". Honestly, I can't tell you what the 2nd item was on the try, even after trying it. I get that the flight was only 3 hours long, but a sandwich is not dinner. And, it tasted horrible. I took 3 bites and couldn't stomach the rest. It was laughable that they offered wine with it. Had I realized this was the option, I would have brought my own food. My husband, who eats literally everything, couldn't even eat it, and it was a cheese sandwich. How hard is it to make a bad cheese sandwich? Well, apparently, GOL knows how to do it."

Got there by 9:15 only to find out it’s been closed for checking bags. I beg , implore and there’s nothing to be done. Pay extra for 2 extra bags, for what? Nothing. Lost about $75 altogether non refundable. SUCKS."

Pros: "Knowing that GOL is an LCC, I was not expecting much. However, after realizing that every seat had the legroom typical of a Extra Comfort seat on NA carriers, I soon became won over. Regular recline functionality (missing on some of the larger LCCs worldwide) and a free drink and snack (also missing on many LCCs), TOO was truly a relaxing flight. 10/10. Would definitely fly again."
