The move to foreign ownership (well, 49%) plus a new CEO that comes with a mainline carrier’s mafia mindset of shaking down his customers for cash has degraded Harbour Air’S once stellar service. The front line staff (though lovely as always) have little autonomy now. Layer on higher fares, more restrictions, up to $5/lb for extra luggage… the list of awful changes goes on. I, with others, travel for business and financially supported the airline during the pandemic, only to see the value of Quick Tickets go steadily down the drain. Examples: $300-ish one-way ticket is now non-refundable, mega restrictions on changes, and lowered baggage weight. Really? I could fly Vancouver-LA for about the same price and Air Canada would have fewer ticket restrictions. It’s a shame.
Great ride. Much easier than the Ferry. Loved the view.
It was really good. Excellent communication and care. I will definitely be flying Pacific Coastal again!

The check in was quick but the counter person didn’t inform me that the flight was delayed. I was also not informed of the boarding gate. When the plane landed there was a mixup at the gate with the ramp crew which delayed the flight further. All in all the experience didn’t meet the standard I’ve come to expect from WestJet
Counter representative refused to check my luggage despite paying for it in advance
When I purchased the flights I included the luggage, the luggage was not added and got charged the full price anyway. Had to pay for the luggage at check in. Initial flight was delayed, we missed our 9am connection (flew with my wife), then the airline rebooks us to the next flights, putting my wife in at 1.40pm and me at 4pm, what a crazy wait time. We managed to fix it with customer service and they put me in the 1:40pm flight too, but they left my baggage behind in the 4pm flight. When arrived to my destination, of course no luggage. It was delivered to the address thankfully late at night. The experience sucked.
There is no snack and nit much that would be considered gluten free in yiur food selections. One of your snacks should be a gluten free cookie or small bar etc. maybe it was me but I didn’t see any free movies just internet connection and YouTube .
The experience was good just the upcharge of over a hundred dollars was not cool.
No internet, not even westjet connect makes for a boring flight

7 hour layover was a drag. Free internet on the long leg was great.

Flight was late leaving. Charge for luggage which still has not arrived and will be delivered in a week.

My outbound trip on Air Canada was cancelled due to the strike. I had to cancel my return flight after booking with other carriers.
Flight was not affected by the Air Canada strike. Complimentary beer and wine offered on flight.
Terrible, it’s a mess with the strike. Couldn’t do the Smithers flight because my flight to Vanvouver was cancelled and there is no customer service help to get refund or help
Everything could have been better from the planes not being delayed to the rudeness of staff to it was just horrible will not use kayak again or Air Canada I can't see what would ever change my mind now
luggage and cary on were extra, as well as seat selection. $240.00 was added to the final price tag.

My luggage passed security but just before boarding the plane I watched as my luggage was thrown on the belt to enter the plane in Windsor and my luggage cover was half off. it was damaged before even making it onto the plane! I’ve had the luggage and covered for a year and have never had any issues. I mentioned it to an Air Canada employee who told me to use the app to make the crew aware of this (she said so they could fix it) but sure enough my luggage was damaged with no cover in sight! I sent an email to AC that was ignored. Awful experience! Also, a 4.5 hour flight and you are offered pretzels or a cheap single cookie?? Wow. The return flight did not have any entertainment available unless you used your own device and their wifi. The USB plug on the back of the seat did not charge my phone so my battery drained by using it for a short period of time. There was no warning that this was the case prior to boarding the aircraft. Lastly, the plane was freezing. I asked if they had any small blankets (which used to be standard) and was told they were only for the front section. Would never fly AC again!
