There isn't a hotel within the airport facilities, but there are two hotels nearby, within walking distance from the airport. The Radisson Blu, behind the Oslo Lufthavn train station, and the Park Inn, near the P11 parking lot. Keep in mind that some cheaper hotels advertise themselves as airport hotels however require transportation to get to the airport, whether by shuttle bus or taxi, which means an added cost.
There are five car rental companies located at Oslo Lufthavn, all found on level U2 of parking zone P10. Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz all open at 7:00 am and close at 11:30 pm. Sixt opens at 7:00 am and closes later than the others, at midnight.
Travelling by taxi from Oslo Lufthavnto the city centre is the most expensive option. Most companies charge a fixed fare starting at 629 kr (approximately C$ 98). Prices change based on the number of passengers and the destination. It’s a recommended option for travellers carrying a lot of luggage. There are several taxi companies servicing the airport and you can find them right outside the arrivals area.
Taking a bus from the airport to the city centre is a cheaper option, but trips are longer, taking about 45minutes. The Airport Express Coach FB2 bus connects the airport to the central bus station every 20 minutes, daily. A one-way ticket costs 179 kr (approximately C$ 28) and can be purchased online. Other bus companies like Ruter and Nettbuss also have buses that stop at the central bus station in Oslo, but they depart from stops near the airport and not directly from the airport.
The distance between Oslo Airport and downtown Oslo is 37 km.
The cheapest month for flights to Oslo is January. On the other hand, the most expensive months are July and August.

Boarding in NCL is really bad. I'm sure part of that is a directive from the airport that KLM can't change but part of that is due to KLM policy. NCL doesn't announce the gate of departure until 30 minutes before departure. However, when you arrive at the gate area, the gate agents file everyone into one long line and everyone boards from one line at one time. This line can stretch for 200m...easily. There is a separate line for groups 1 and 2 but you don't know it until you get to the gate area and agents don't announce/advertise it. Everyone else is grouped into one line. Are you in group 3? Doesn't matter...you board with group 5. Traveling with a child? Tough luck...you're stuck at the end of the line and board last. The last part is very annoying because none of the gates at NCL (with the exception of 1 used by Emirates) has a jetway. To board, you must leave the gate area, walk downstairs, walk onto the tarmac and walk up stairs to board the plane. Highly challenging if you're traveling with small children. That boarding process begs for a concession to allow people with children to board first because they will need extra time. But there is no such policy. Just a really horrible boarding experience all around.

Late take off. While usually not a big deal, this delay began a chain that led to (many people) having to wait in line (I stood for 6 1/2 hours to rebook a flight in Frankfurt Airport. Never made it to my original layover, in Paris… would have been a 23 1/2 layover. And I’d already made hotel reservations. Ce la Vie!
Working outlet at the seat would have made it better
United couldn’t issue boarding pass at the start I have to rush through Frankfurt service desk to get boarding pass while connecting
Flight was overbooked. Crew did a great job but passengers weren’t nice and really not patient. Flying in these times is not the best idea tbh.
They had larger overhead bins and packed them better. My checked luggage arrived with me. Negative, the rear toilet was put off limits and stank up to row 30, even through my mask.
Original flight was canceled due to bad weather...not a problem, completely understand however I had booked a direct return, instead I was rebooked with a layover of over 2.5 hours. What should have been just over 2 hours turned into 6 hours. Snacks on-board were pitiful and they were constantly out of beverage products.
I would never fly air Canada again….delay after delay…poor service….
The flight was very good. Just disappointed that there was no meal. We were extremely hungry by the time we got home at 11 pm. There was no time between flight changes to eat. We are also disappointed that there aren't any direct flights to palm Springs or return direct flights. It is too hard on older people to be changing flights.
No food provided atl on a 5 hour flight. Took an hour at SeaTac to get our bags
