Pros: "The extra room on the exit row seat was definitely worth the premium!"
Cons: "The electrical outlet didn't work on my seat. Entertainment on the flight was a bit too pricey I thought as well!"

Cons: "there were no complimentary snacks"

Pros: "I liked the fact that they provided beverages and food."
Cons: "I hated how there was NO entertainment. Honestly on a 12 + hour flight this was a bit ridiculous. No tv, or movies... no screen on the seat at all. Not even a big one for everyone to enjoy! It was horrible... The seats were so cramped and the staff seemed a bit unprofessional and sloppy looking. The food was pretty bad as well. I've had my fair share amount of flights and honestly this was probably the worse one i've gone on with the amount of hours it took to get to our destination. I wouldn't have mind too much if there was no entertainment on a 2 or 3 hour flight..."

Pros: "I liked how they provided beverages"
Cons: "the seats were too close together, the staff seemed a bit unprofessional, and the big one for me was having to buy ear phones to be able to watch a movie... seriously?"

Pros: "Calgary airport first and foremost went above and beyond for me. The flight then after was the same, friendly attendants, great smooth flight. 5 stars for staff."
Cons: "The headphones are bad, i had my own headphones so it was fine. I did go w the air canada ones first just out of convenience, but they were fuzzy, probably would have ruined the movies."

Cons: "30 min for baggage claim"

Pros: "A woman in Toronto at the customs area for air Canada helped us get seats when we didn't realize we were on standby. She was very kind and helpful!"

Pros: "Seats were nice to recline and the in flight tv is much nicer than tablets etc. The in flight safety video is good and quick easy"
Cons: "Seriously? No free snacks? It's ridiculous that you want us to purchase snacks. Something small should be complimentary. Staff was in ok moods but a little edgy. The air was too cold."

Pros: "The flight arrived about 30 minutes early. Also, it left a little late. For me, the less time on the plane the better."
Cons: "Guy next to wanted to charge phone a laptop in USB port in front of me b/c his was our of order. This worked out OK but in a small space it's not so good. He was bare foot too. Take of your shoes but wear socks, please....Plane was not hot, actual a litter chilly."

Pros: "Friendly service by captain and crew. Frequent information provided abut flight."
Cons: "Food was available for purchase. Only small beverage served with mini sized snacks."

Pros: "Late departure due to an incompetent airport crew (the guys who fuel the plane) . The pilot keep us well informed about the delay. Since we left Vancouver late, we arrived late and had to sit on the runway for 30 minutes until we could get a gate at LAX. Again the pilot keep us informed and apologized for the inconvenience, The staff was very friendly."

Pros: "on-board service"
Cons: "Late departures (about 30 minutes each way) with corresponding late arrivals. On the flight LAX to Vancouver due to late arrival of the plane, on the return flight supposedly because of a delay in loading luggage (the flight was fully boarded for 30+minutes before loading was completed). The late arrival in Los Angeles led to further delay as there was no available gate to accept us so we disembarked 50+minutes after the scheduled time."

Pros: "Crew was friendly and nice. Let you jump to other open seats once in the air."
Cons: "Seats were incredibly tight. If you're taller than 5'10", your knees will touch the front seat. You can pay to upgrade or just change your seats for free if the bigger ones are open. They won't check you in to your connecting flight like other airlines so beware as others have entibies this. And don't expect to be on time. 3if 4 of our flights were delayed ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours. Hope that you have a long connection."

Pros: "This flight was on time"
Cons: "N/A"

Cons: "No food , not even snack for 5 hours flight?!!,"

Pros: "Staff was extremely pleasant."
Cons: "Being charged for seat selection when I could not even select a seat. My seat didn't even have an outlet with USB jack next to the monitor like other seats. I had to use the old worn-out headset input jack on the armrest. Flights were delayed both directions."

Cons: "Everything. Will not fly air Canada again. Even if it costs me more money."

Cons: "delayed takeoff"

Pros: "Comfort"
Cons: "Noisy misbehaved child passenger."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Everything. Plane was ready to leave on time but had a delay of almost an hour due to construction in Toronto. Connecting flight was held in Toronto and despite getting to gate almost an hour before departure, they changed passengers to another flight causing total delay of four hours. Air Canada staff were indifferent and uncaring. Unfortunately with no real choice in airlines to Newfoundland we are stuck with Air Canada."

Pros: "Quick boarding! Smooth experience. Good seating space."
Cons: "Everything was fine no issues! This was a good flight."

Pros: "Flight attendants"
Cons: "-majority of tvs were shorted out and not working -plane was heavily delayed so didn't make second transfer flight -one attendant gave us wrong directions to next gate at LAX -LAX airport was under heavy construction which delayed gating gate to gate -Customer service offered no options to how to get to San Diego -now we are in debt with a car rental, gas, and having to go back to the airport twice for the baggage -most likely won't be using United Airlines again"

Pros: "This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Out flight from Calgary to LAX was on the complete other side of the airport than our connector to San Diego. After a delay we had a short amount of time to get to the next flight. We literally were told to just cross the parking lot. Well... that ended up being a 25 minute run across the airport to only have to go thru security again. After navigating construction and parking structures we got to our gate 10 minutes late and would not be let on the flight. There was zero communication, sympathy or help from the United Airlines staff. We were told it was not their problem because we came in through Air Canada- BUT we booked through United! All in all it was an absolute nightmare that ended in us renting a car at 12am and driving back to San Diego with zero compensation from United Airlines"
Cons: "No communication between airlines! No customer service to fix their lack of planning and communication. Just terrible all around"

Pros: "Getting me from point A to point B in one piece is most important, so top marks there."
Cons: "- was told to switch gates twice for the same flight (while lugging my stuff along with me) - both flights were late - flight tracker didn't work from LAX to Vancouver - just a note: on flight from Vancouver to LAX, passenger behind us was talking 5X louder then literally anyone else on the plane. I bought headphones just to drown out his life story."

Cons: "Air Canada failed to transfer my bag from flight 1 to connecting flight 2. This not only happened to me but to other people traveling on the same connecting flight as well. My bag was delivered later then the promised time, it was also returned damaged. It is now almost one week since I have taken my flight and I am unable to process a claim because they have not updated my file via their Bag Tracer program. It is clear that they still have a lot of work to do to be considered a real commercial air line company"

Cons: "The flight was very cold, even though everyone in my row had their air vents closed."

Cons: "Had to pay for seat assignments when reservation made or no seat reservations. Not true on all airlines. Delta let us pick seats for free when the reservation was made. Husband had wanted a window seat and ended up with a middle seat. No free snacks just drinks"

Pros: "Nothing. The experience was a headache."
Cons: "Layover that was booked through KAYAK was already 9 hours long. I was fine and willing to accept that for the lower cost. Flight then gets delayed from 8:00 to 9:00 PM, okay, that's fine. Then flight gets delayed from 9:00 to 12:00. This forces me to miss my hotel reservation in LAX, This was one of the worst flying experiences I've ever dealt with. Then the airline doesn't even have the decency to give me a pillow because I was sitting in coach. If this is what airlines are becoming, i can't wait for the hyperloop one to force them into bankruptcy. The lack of respect for their paying customers is asinine."

Cons: "Entertainment system was not working and in one of our seats the Audio was not working"

Pros: "We left and arrived early, the seat was surprisingly comfortable (it helped that there were lots of empty seats, including next to me), my full-size carry-on fit easily in the overhead bin, despite it being a small plane, the in-flight entertainment was always on and pretty good... everything went well."
Cons: "Only the things I've grown to expect on any domestic service (e.g., no food)."

Pros: "GOOD LEG ROOM"
Cons: "THE FOOD STILL SUCKED."

Cons: "The seat smells. Has a bad odor and was not comfortable. I suggest cleaning the seats and have air fresheners. Also, a separate seating areas for adults with children. There was a baby crying the whole entire flight."

Pros: "Comfy seat, good food, great attentive service and wonderful safe take offs and landings!"
Cons: "Flight delayed 2hrs without proper notification."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Air Canada service"

Cons: "I wish there were movies available to watch or purchase to watch. It was a 3 hour flight and I feel at that length of a flight a movie would help to pass the time."

Cons: "Uncomfortable seat, bad entertainment."

Pros: "crew was polite"
Cons: "when i bought the tickets we weren't told that the baggage and food wasn't included and I had to pay for it (US$100 or the baggagge alone) we were changed to a different craft and could't choose my seats in thiis craft they seat us all separated, when i had already chosen our sits in the former craft they didn't sit us together when we asked for it at the counter we were 1.5 hours waiting inside the airplane , so i lost my bus to Santa Barbara we weren't given any snack for the delay"

Cons: "Extremely tight space."

Pros: "Flights on time"

Pros: "Why did we have to pay for head phones?? No included food what so ever!! Not even peanuts or a cookie. Why try to make me buy everything after I paid a full price?? The seats were crowded, every person walking in the aisle brushed against my shoulder. Air Canada, never again"

Pros: "Tv screens. On time arrival even though we left late. Not Stingy on beverages."
Cons: "Ineffecient boarding process. Walk to ticket counter from parking was a distance Walk from ticket counter to checked in luggage drop off was ridiculously long Seperated my wife and kids and myself on the plane even though we booked together. I had to ask people to switch seats with us on the flight. Refused to help with this. Money making ploy. Not classy or respectful. I don't care if we don't get to pick out seats but at least set us up together."

Pros: "No entertainment beyond ipod rental..."
Cons: "Not enough time (1 hr.) for connection in Calgary... very stressful in USA Customs line and subsequent USA security line... baggage did not make flight and still not received in 38 hours... difficult start to vacation."

Pros: "The flight was on time"

Pros: "No leg room. Very stiff seats"

Pros: "Was somewhat of a comfortable flight not much leg room at all and there was no earphone jack to be seen for my seat. The cost of food is ridiculous and if you wanted WiFi you had to pay for it. With the prices we pay for tickets and seat selection you would think that they'd offer at least a sandwich for free. Crew were great though very pleasant."

Pros: "The flight was great."
Cons: "Linda was quite rude and aggressive. She would often hush me with her finger or ignore me when I would talk to her. It made me reconsider flying with air Canada"

Pros: "The crew was very pleasant."
Cons: "You have to pay for everything extra."

Cons: "There was no food or entertainment so I really can't rate either of those things"

Pros: "we boarded on time, and the flight was uneventful. David's Tea is now avaialble for purchase. great price and although small good selection."
Cons: "All items are now up for purchase- except for soft drinks and juice."
