Pros: "Food vouchers in Calgary for the 6 hour flight delay due to WesJet computer issues on Toronto plane. $100 credit Bag pick up Minmico at WS Care Centre tried hard to arrange a seat on an earlier flight due to my inquiry; let me call home twice on her phone to advise husband of flight changes. She tried to organize my bag to be put on the earlier flight at the last minute although she was unsuccessful."

Pros: "That I didn’t have to pay extra to check my bike as luggage. The crew and folks who work for west jet were really really friendly and helpful."
Cons: "That my bike didn’t arrive with me on the plane and that it wasn’t trackable once I arrived so I have no idea it’s status. It might interfere with my ability to complete my bike trip as planned, depending on how long it’s delayed."
Cons: "WestJet seems unable to stick to a schedule. Three of my four flights were delayed and a connector flight through Toronto was cancelled altogether just after midnight, leaving me stranded at Pearson Airport. The ground crew were disorganized and unable to provide clear answers – other than their complete assurance that WestJet bore no responsibility for providing hotel accommodation."

Cons: "Flight was delayed taking off from Winnipeg 90 minutes with no explanation given. Made us late getting to Saskatoon and missed our daughter's scheduled ride to pick up our two cars as a result. Had to pay an extra two hours parking at airport, etc etc etc."

Cons: "Boarding in San Jose was v poor. Gate '4a and 4b'are exit through the same door. 2 flights boarding at same time. Chaos from exit gate down ramp and on Tarmac. P A system echoes and is very hard to hear so passengers for Oakland 4b and to Vancouver 4a we're crowding the gate together. Only One member of airport Staff struggling to direct the large crowd."

Pros: "I had been very sick the night before the flight and was so weak that I needed a wheelchair. The wheelchair helpers at both the Mazatlan end and Calgary were exceptional. They were so kind and genuinely helpful. I was very grateful. Also, your flight attendants seem to really enjoy their jobs. This is not the case on other airlines!"

Pros: "Liked the convenience of flying so close from home the crew was amazing dealing with a difficult lady. And the girl I sat beside is now my friend. Woohoo"

Cons: "This was where the real fun in my trip happened. After my arriving flight got in 2 hours late and sat on the runway for 45 minutes because there was too many planes in the way for my plane to get to the gate I was not in the mood to run across the airport to go through customs and then through security (for the second time). However in order to make it onto this final flight that's exactly what I had to do. I also might add that it is incredibly stupid that connecting flights have to go through security again after deplaning, it's not like we're suddenly going to have weapons or anything so why waste that time? After I sprinted across the airport and got onto the plane the pilot announced that we were waiting to hear from the airport to take off. Long story short the poor pilot was trying to figure out what was going on but no one was even answering his calls. Eventually he realized that the plane hadn't been refueled and had to get a hole of them to refuel. At one point he must have gotten really frustrated because he left the plane in search of answers as the Toronto airport wasn't giving him any. Eventually after 2 hours of sitting on the plane we refueled and took off. On top of that my travel partner didn't get her luggage, we assumed that the Toronto airport lost it somewhere or something. Overall a complete nightmare."

Pros: "Staff tried to do what they could but unable to really do anything. They only repeatedly messed up boarding passes causing me to miss flights."
Cons: "The planes were not in working order. The first plane had a hole in it from hitting something the flight was completely cancelled only one out of the two people at the counter was helping a line of people, but due to a system error people were not checked in . I had to get 4 different print outs of my boarding pass. the second aircrafts air conditioner didn't work, the third plane the back door would not close. I spent over 12 hours in the airport and couldn't get home till the following day . The airline did not have a hotel reservation ready as promised and had to wait an additional 15 minutes while they were telling me I was responsible for my own room. Eventually they got me a room and gave me a voucher. I would never fly or recommend West Jet i just don't feel safe."

They make you pay for everything:- hand carriage, seat, check-in and don't even offer you a cup of water! It turnout much more expensive than AC !
I didn’t like It at all cause of delays and cancellations last minutes? No entertainment not even charging points in plane ..and I noticed when one flight landed from flair’s air plane the reuse that plane which is fine but no safety protection no sanitary nothing .

Pros: "Great crew, fast boarding, nearly empty plane so I had the whole three seat row to myself."
Cons: "The hydraulic pump for the inboard flaps sounded like it was on it's last legs and howled whenever adjustments were made. The cabin pressurization system whistled so loud that I had to put ear buds in to protect my hearing (just on takeoff/landing). Proper maintenance is important!"
Pros: "Comfortable seat with plenty of hip & leg room."
Cons: "Charged $35. for luggage because I didn't know I could go online with the Flair Air website & pay prior to check in. They were friendly and advised me to do this in the future."
Pros: "The plane didn't crash like website and they did not charge $10 for printing off my boarding pass, as no one could with website down. Also, some budget airlines now only allow 40lbs in checked baggage, Looks like they allow 50lbs."
Cons: "Similar problem on the way home, could not book luggage online but could check in. Shop closes at 5 CST so could not call. Even though we told at checkout that it was because of the Christmas volume online, still had to pay Airport (extra) price to check-in baggage. They said I could perhaps get the penalty fee returned if I called in. Told her it's not worth 2 hours on a paid long distance call to get $20 back."

Cons: "New leaf discontinued their Sunday Halifax to Hamilton flight which was to be my return flight home. They did offer me a full refund if I needed to cancel or to rebook on a different flight but I couldn't make the new dates work so I took the full refund. I booked the flights in December for a flight in Feb and they cancelled half way through January so there wasn't a lot of notice given"
