Even though Swiss is Star Alliance they didng count my Star Alliance Gold status for free bags and didn’t offer an upgrade. Zurich was incredibly hot and the airport didn’t have air conditoning anywhere. The boarding was worse than Ryan Air. The plane was okd and super uncomfortable. staff was rude and not at all helpful. Swiss is definitely a budget air line!!!!"

The flight attendants we very kind in trying to assist me in finding appropriate food. The flight was very comfortable and the flight attendants were wonderful all-around."
Cons: "Boarding of the flight was delayed which impacted our arrival time in Zurich. I had a connecting flight- but so did at least 10 other Swiss flights at that time. The queues for customs were incredibly long and the only reason I made my flight was because I ran through the airport. I also had a challenging time with food. I am celiac and often cannot eat the standard fare on planes. I called in advance of my flight to notify someone of my allergy - and they told me the only way I could ensure such a meal was by purchasing a meal that cost $30. I was not willing to pay such a hefty surcharge for food because I had already payed a bit extra than budgeted because my partner had recommended the excellent service of Swiss. I have traveled on several airlines for intercontinental flights between Boston and Europe - and have always had my allergy accommodated at no extra cost. Once on the flight - I was offered an orange and banana for dinner and a small yoghurt for breakfast. I will be flying Swiss again in December and I sincerely hope they will be better equipped to provide for my dietary requirements."

Gate was at the end of the empty terminal. Wifi pass expired and no artery was offered even though the flight was delayed. Passengers were made to leave the gate to recheck passports. My bags were searched twice and while I fully support security this was excessive"

I was subjected to unnecessary hassle as Air Canada did not issue me boarding pass for the section of Motreal to Zurich at Los Angeles airport. Had I known that I have to come out of the airport, I would not have bought this ticket. Hopefully same ordeal is not repeated while returning from Zurich to Los Angeles via Montreal on June 30, 2016. There was a long queque at Montreal to board the place as it was not organized in zone wise."

They proceeded to tell us that our only option was to stay the night and take another flight the next day. Us and 10 other people had to get into an argument with the staff in order for something to be done. After begging, they finally said they would put us on an earlier flight the following morning and they put us in a hotel. The staff did not care about us or our missed flight/wasted money that we paid for the hotel at our destination that night. It took 30 minutes for a manager to give us the time of day. Horrible experience. It's really shocking that this is how the company treats its customers."

Cons: "My office in UK needed to change my departure day electronically. She was told she needed (for complex reasons) to go to London to do this - ridiculous as we live on the Isle of Wight. The other option was I needed to go to the airport to change it and pay supplement. Luckily it was only a 30min taxi ride from my hotel. The desk staff could see the issue and resolved the problem within 20mins - extremely helpful. A shame this could not be sorted in UK by phone and email"

Cons: "My passport was not due to expire for the NEXT 4 months AFTER my come back day The lady from Avianca didn't let me board due to my passport expiring 4 months after my return day. I had to pay for a 24 hours expedite / rush passport. ALSO, once I got my new passport (17 hours later) I was told that I had to pay $170 penalty for moving my departure day and $680 because I had to adjust to the new ticket price. At that point I decide to buy a new ticket with a different airline. AVIANCA SUCKS!!! They are NOT very accommodating at all. Will not recommend this agency and I WILL NEVER ever again will use their service."

We were told to be at Gate 15 and there was a display saying that our flight was leaving from there so we had every reason to believe that that was indeed the boarding gate. I fly with copa from Panama directly to Miami and I get 1161 miles, here, I flew from Panama to Colombia (1hr) to then go back up (passing thru Panama again) which means 2 more hours of flight and the total amount of miles from Panama to Miami with avianca is 967."

Boarding was a bit more chaotic than usual and the gate agent made no announcement about boarding procedure, which certainly contributed to the scrum resulting. I arrived from the Skyclub several minutes prior to boarding time and was unable to find a path through to the Priority Boarding Lane. As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

The problem was never fixed and we haven’t flown home yet. We have new flights booked on Delta but only because Delta took pity....West Jet does no refunds or reticketing. If flights are missed you're out on of luck!"

No reasons were provided beyond the incoming flight from LGA hadn't come in. Why hadn't it come in? When could we expect to leave YUL? No answers."

Cons: "Instead of going Chicago -> Panama City I was routed to Chicago --> Newark --> Bogota --> Cartagena. This means instead of arriving 8pm, I would now be arriving 8am the following day (I actually arrived after 1pm, so all in, it was about 30 hours of travel experience). At the request of the United agent in Minneapolis, I got in Customer Service line in Chicago to have my bags properly transferred to my connecting flights. After an hour in line, the agent proved to me by showing me the screen she was working on, that my bags would be routed directly to my final destination. She was confused why I was told to even come in line, so, great, another hour wasted."

Cons: "Copa Airlines has the worse entertainment system. I flew business and the food was pathetic. If you are sitting at the last two rows (out of four), they might run out of options for dinner and you are left without choices. I feel sorry for the crew that have to come to you and say "I only have left chicken ". Very cheap airline overall. I can't believe this is Star Alliance."

Cons: "Despite arriving at the airport in Panama 3 hours before our flight we were given no seats, and told it was likely we would be flying at 6 pm instead of 9 am (our flight to SFO). Eventually we got the seats at the gate without a word of explanation. And my husband and I were given separate seats. He got an exit row seat, though, with no other passengers seating next to him."

Cons: "Copa placed passangers in scattered seats even if they were together, we had to talk to other passangers to switch spots. The crew was unhelpful most of the time. Boarding was totally disorganized, it reminded me of a persian market trying to go though a single door, all at once. Security bands to form lines were obviously unavailable. The whole experience was like riding an old bus with no technology, and it’s entertainment was along these lines."

Someone should change that. I wont travel again with Copa."

Pros: "I liked the modern aircraft, service, easy check in procedures..cost-free alcoholic alcoholic drinks were nice and the food served was tasty although there is room for improvement on the presentation (=appearance) of the meals served."
Pros: "All of my grievances regard the Panama staff at the airport and on the plane, the staff and services at O'Hare were top notch. Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

Cons: "We were faced with many difficulties throughout the process including delays at every stage (plane boarding, takeoff, bus shuttles, etc.) of four different flights. The flight to Panama City was a significantly more enjoyable experience, but the return trip was absolutely miserable. After being boarded, we waited on the runway with no explanation for over a half hour. Then the flight staff came through with a very mediocre dinner and drink; however, they never came back for anything else until the customs form, and any attempts to flag them down were fruitless. When I finally got their attention, I requested water, and never received it. It was an incredibly frustrating and thirsty experience."

Cons: "I have travel with WestJet many times is the past and had nothing but good to say. This was my first time using WestJet Encore and was totally shocked and disappointed. The flight crew i found to be very rude with and had an attitude. The biggest shock was the greetings and all announcements were in English accept the safety rules where the pre-recorded tape was played. If asked about the return flight from Halifax to Montreal, one word to describe it "disaster". I was totally turned off with WestJet. I will for sure continue using Porter as I was always pleased with there service. As they say "you get what you pay for"."

While we were waiting on the runway for over an hour I asked our flight attendant to check on the status of our connecting flight and she basically told us to hope for the best and that we would have to deal with it when we arrived in Toronto"

Cons: "We had to wait about 2 hours in the plane before take off and 30 min. after landing because of weather and a lack of efficient communication. That was a very frustrating and exhausting flight. Not enough space and on westjet connect on board."

Cons: "1.I did not like the flight crew announcing how great they (the crew) were at the start of announcements before take-off ---- If you are great, don't tell us, act like it - I found both crew members hardly engaging, one was sullen. 2. PA system was a little hard to understand anyway. Crew member should have put volume up and made sure was loud enough , but just seemed like wanted to use a 'cute' half french/half english accent to speak in. 3. Also this flight 3535 on Dec 21 Mtl- Toronto made me nervous although I fly often. Most nervous I have been because pilot took time to gain altitude after take off, and when landing had to accelerate then decelerate a number of times. Landing was (with 2 km/hr winds i.e. not much wind) almost on one wheel. 4. Food does not have to be so cheap e.g. sweet snack bar? Please bring back an assortment of nuts as they are at least nutritious. Thank you for reading."
