We had to go through customs and other planes from the US had similar problems. Therefore many were delayed."
Pros: "Arrived early."
Cons: "Uncomfortable seating for a tall person. Cut out the drink and snack service. People can toughen up. Just offer water without using the snack cart."
Pros: "staff did the best they could to assist"
Cons: "Flight change, would have like more options to reschedule flights. However good service from overall."
Pros: "This flight was fine. It was utilitarian. Did not stand out one way or another."
Cons: "Sat in Plus. Horrible service. No hot towels. Had to ask for 2nd drink and was refused a coffee and Baileys with at least an hour left in flight. No snacks offered or served. The attendant spent most of her flight hiding in her seat and reading a novel. Brutal!"
Pros: "Not much, other than it got us to our destination about 15 minutes ahead of schedule"
Cons: "The food on WestJet is atrocious when you purchase Plus seats. If you are on a flight less than 2.5 hrs you get cookies or pretzels and poor wine. If you are on a flight over 2.5 hrs you get some hot in a box. I had an egg and bacon fajita. The fajita was like warm cardboard."
Pros: "The flight crew was excellent. Pilot definitely had his passengers in mind. Landing in windy Regina was perfect"
Cons: "The cabin person upon entering sucked a lemon apparently"
Cons: "Seats were a very strange shape. They forced me to sit in a hunchback position the entire time. next to no leg room. A very tight uncomfortable space. The three hour flight was about the most I would have been able to handle. Worst seats I’ve seen in a while."
Pros: "The staff on board made us completely forget we just experienced a terrible 6 hour experience in the hands of westjet from punta cana. The airport staff and security were efficient and all friendly. Helped us every step of the way. But again, a big thank you to the 4 flight attendants on the ws 254 to Halifax. Made our crappy day much better simply by being a friendly and happy face."
Cons: "Didnt like having to connect but understand that was to my own booking."
Cons: "The plane had to much fuel, had to wait over an hour in the plane so their maintenance personnel can remove the excess fuel The captain announced- several times What maintenance morans are running this outfit? THIS IS RIDICULOUS- TO MUCH FUEL!!"

Flight was good and staff was efficient and friendly. Being a discount airline, they charge for carry on, food and beverages. I did not partake, but your survey doesn't have a n/a button. My only thing was that it felt like I was sitting on a cement block. My behind was sore after a couple of hours. I was not able to check in on line, so very thankful that the linecat the airport moved quickly. I think I will use Swoop in future if I just need to get somewhere and don't need to bring carry on bags.

Bring your own water, do not expect and comfort on the plan, and over priced gross processed food. Drinks were could (paid for) and saw we needed to bring our own water for a 5 hour flight. Kinda shitty you have to pay for carry on- same price and stowaway luggage. The luggage cost more than 2 round trips from Toronto to Victoria bc. Shocked at that

Airline did Not inform us is further delays to an already cancelled flight. Big chaos prior to boarding.

I would take swoop for a 1, maybe 2 hour flight MAX. Every thing is an up charge, even water. The seats don’t recline so it makes it very tough sitting in that small space. The crew was amazing though, they went above and beyond to try and make the experience comfortable. Also, we were delayed a total of 4 times - 5 hours.

I've flown with swoop a few times and always had a good experience. The crew are pleasant and helpful. Thanks

It’s a no frills airline, professional and gets the job done well.

Nothing at all. The flight attendants couldn’t care less about the passengers. Overheard 2 complaint about being “too tired to bother or care about anything”. Complaining about working 2 jobs and was even too tired to care about returning a lost pair of glasses that they just threw away. Never flying this crappy airline again.

Really nice flight barring a one hour delay, which was already informed. Staff at abbottsford check in counter was very friendly and helpful. Her name was Robin.

Lack of staff Airplane (even with upgraded seats) was not comfortable Boarding took extremely long, no system in place Inconsistent messaging on reason for delay

I sat near a man who continually took his mask off. He was told to put it on 3 different times. He would say “ oh sorry” then remove it as soon as they walked away. By the end of the flight they had given up and they all walked by him “maskless” and didn’t say anything. He coughed and sneezed throughout the flight

Very small aircraft and a tight fit for most people. Luggage was put on another flight :(

Air Canada seems to be understaffed which caused delays at every point of the flight—delays at departure, delays in the air (circling), delay after landing, delays at the gate before disembarking. Horrible experience. And my son, who departed Toronto today, experienced delays because the passport scanning system was down and was told that he would not be able to board his flight. Toronto airport is a mess!!!!

I think the plane that they changed at last minute could be better

Worst travel day I have ever had in 25+ years. Pulled off of two AC planes that were leaking and the third plane that was boarded had maintenance which delayed the flight for over another hour! A total of 10 hours spent at Pearson International before finally taking off! These planes were over 25 years old! Update your equipment!

Due to change of aircraft, I was moved to last seat on the plan. No seat adjustment, no lower back support. Extremely painful, and the same for the passenger next to me. Plane was old, narrow and most cramped. Will not travel on Air Canada again.

Faster boarding times . Gate agents didn’t seem to allow time for extra Carrie on bags. Delayed 1 hour for this. Recurring problem should should be though of long time ago

Air Canada board by zones. I was zone 6 the highest zone, with a window seat... Zones 1-5 boarded before me. Middle seats are zone 5 and aisle seats are zone 4. Made a very annoying boarding experience AKL -> YVR making so many people move. Boarding really needed to be improved. Food was fine but not really enough for a 13+ hour flight and the little "bread" rolls were like rocks. But was fine overall, better than previous meals/snacks Air Canada has served.

When I arrived in Calgary I discovered my plane was reassigned to a more profitable route and I was left stranded in Calgary. I had to rent a car and drove 8 hours to get home at my own expense. 2 of my last 3 flights with Air Canada were cancelled and the 3rd one was delayed 2 hours. Air Canada is an unreliable airline. Choose another airline if you can!

Was kinda tight in the seats no leg room. Seats uncomfortable. Maps cpuldnt keep up Allot of ports not working. But was an amazing ezperience.

Our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues. Would have been nice to have been compensated for our time or at least had some kind of perk. On a smaller note, the crew only came through the flight once with food and drinks when it was advertised that they would come through twice. Overall, felt like we had to deal with their problems.
